I love Chase Carneson's reactions because he not only gets extremely into the music but he also knows a fair amount about production and song structure (which are just as important as instrumentation and execution)!

@@digitalmichael Haha, absolutely ! It's probably my favorite out of everyone in this video. They are all great, but something about his just resonates with me.
There is something so real and human about his reaction. The intense rush of sensory stimulation followed by the exact moment the serotonin hits! :D
I come to YT every day almost and search up "Sleep Token" and pour over each and every new cover/reaction/whatever. They are the best band out there right now and in a long time. Their music is beautiful and so are people's reactions to the music. That is what music is supposed to be.

When I hear Sleep Token for first time I literally cry. My first song was "The love you want" and "fall for me" and the part "Seems your heart is lock up and I still get the combination wrong" hits me so hard cuz my girlfriend left me a days ago, since of that I love Sleep Token and every song is a beautiful piece of art.
I remember my first reaction as well, and it matched yours exactly lol. My first exposure was from "The Love You Want," and from there I binged their entire discography before the release of Tomb.
I've made a hobby of seeing people's first reactions as well, and these videos are also a great boost to their exposure; Sleep Token is criminally underrated right now, but I know they're going to be a major milestone for music.
My first exposure was Jaws.. Been addicted ever since!
Regarding the reactions in this video, I think the last one is my favorite.. Something about how Skull King reacts is just so human and wholesome. You can see the moment the feel good chemicals hit the brain :D
And I completely agree, the future looks bright indeed.

My favorite music genre is Metalcore because I love the contrast between heavy and calm it can have. Sleep Token can take that contrast to a whole new level, that's why I love them so much.
I also have a soft spot for mask-wearing bands lol.

I actually hated Sleep Token at first lmao It was mostly because people were comparing them to Ghost for whatever reason (oh gee, a masked band, they must sound like either Slipknot or Ghost lol) so my dislike for them was unjustly and unfair. So I listened to Tomb once and wrote it off, but.. I REALLY liked Atlantic. So after a month or so, I gave the album another chance on the merit of that song and tried not to think of the weird Ghost comparison, and THATS when it really clicked. I fell in love with the vibe and lyrics. It really started to make sense. Then I checked out Sundowning and nearly cried the first time I heard The Night Does Not Belong To God.
Last year I discovered them in around July and by the end of the year they were my top played artist on Spotify. This band is something else and I am excited to see where they go.

Back in 2019 my First sleep token was the hey ya Cover and Im Not lying when Im saying that all of my ass hairs where standig Up.

I'd love to see more of these reaction compilations! The intro was great; that was pretty much my first reaction too haha. It's so fun seeing people react to Sleep Token, especially when all of my friends only like country music and I have no one to share my love for this music with 😭

I'm not a huge fan of the 3rd guy you showed. I left a comment on one of his videos once and he replied in a condescending way. Just was off putting, like he seemed full of himself.

I had a lot of the same reactions. Their music takes you down one path, then floors the gas, jerks the wheel, and takes you in a whole different direction.
