Making Shadow the center of his own game again to capitalize on his incredible backstory is brilliant and I hope Sonic Team doesn't hesitate to bring Shadow to the forefront more often moving forward. So, this story truly peak But if I would add something even more to make it literally *_perfect_* I would make this: 1) Black Doom's intentions to gaslight Shadow to his side will be that he can bring Maria and Gerald to him, which could result in Shadow having a choice - and it leads to point №2 2) Have 2 different endings only at the final boss (so that the budget doesn't get drain) And you can implement this by having one occur by using chaos control more often, and the other - by using Doom powers First ending: Shadow fully embraces his past: Maria, Gerald, his DNA but he uses it to push himself forward in his life, and no matter who he is no one can stand on his path and then he fights Neo Devil Doom Second ending: Shadow thinks about the consequences that might happen if he doesn't let go of his past (imagine if an another villain appears and he tells Shadow: "Hey dude, I got Maria for you" and tries gaslighting him). So he instead tells Maria and Gerald of their unfortunate fates and that they need to happen in order to Shadow grow to his present state. And if you really wanna push it, the post-credit scene can bring anyone to tears. Here's my pitch: After the birthday is over Shadow asks Tails for something - erase his memory of Maria, Gerald and Black Doom entirely, so he wouldn't have any emotional weaknesses. "Shadow, are you truly sure about it? It's a part of you identity" "And this part can lead to more destruction in the world, no matter how important it is, it's too dangerous for me to remember it" "You ready, Shadow?" *dead silence* "...yes"
And both endings work First one fits in with Sonic Team right now - because they are not afraid of their dark past. They embraced it and made it into something truly amazing And the second one works really well for Shadow's character. He usually does what's better for the planet and no matter at what cost, he will fight like he always had

Space colony ark combines final chase from SA2 with several levels from StH. That's why it's called Space Colony Ark instead of being named after a specific level.
Despite that sad goodbye I think this is a sign that on many different levels, he more or less came to real peace with his pass. And it's not just BD, all the actual bosses in this story are what truly shaped Shadow to who he is now.
It's still strange that Mephiles was brought into the whole thing since he technically was never created as Solaris was blown out at infancy and Sonic 06 never happened.
Not only that but the level seem to be based on every segment of sunset heights from Forces it has segments from the Buddy level, Sonic's level & the metal sonic boss fight all in one.
You know, I heard how much people hated Forces so I decided to skip the story for the game. Honestly, Infinite was such a wasted character in that game with such a dumb backstory. I guess it's a good thing Graf and Pontac, the writers from Colors to Forces, left Sega after that game since they really didn't respect these characters near the end of their time at the company.

He also said "The Black Arms live on," without clarifying what that meant.). Shadow's Doom Powers may be gone (For now. I really hope to see them again, too. I dunno what the US retail price is but this is £45 in the UK, which is a lot better priced than the horrible Sonic Superstars; that game had no business retailing for $60, and it was even worse in the UK at £55, which was more expensive than almost every other big major titles, including Super Mario Wonder at the time!

To be fair, Space Colony ARK and the warp in Rail Canyon borrow A LOT from Shadow the Hedgehog. But a dedicated stage would’ve been preferable.

I think it's because you are buying sonic generations with some changes and a new but smaller game I think that it's overpriced but at least it's not 60$

I dunno what the US retail price is but this is £45 in the UK, which is a lot better priced than the horrible Sonic Superstars; that game had no business retailing for $60, and it was even worse in the UK at £55, which was more expensive than almost every other big major titles, including Super Mario Wonder at the time!
Combined with original gens around 5-6 hours which is a decent amount
It's 50 dollars. Plus it's with Sonic Generations so I say this is a good ass deal

If you want to play it on the go, it’s worth the investment since it’s only $50.
But, if you want a faster experience, get it on console or PC.
