Now that Shadow's gotten some love, I wouldn't mind If they gave Silver another chance. Decent character, unfortunate debut. The psychokinesis gameplay has a lot of potential, too. Just look at Scarlet Nexus.

Izuka didn't lie period, knock it off with that. Shadow doesn't feel empathy towards the Biolizard, he just says he's gonna put it out of its misery. Otherwise it represents pretty much everything he and Maria are against.
Spoiler We all knew Shadow wouldn't be able to change the timeline. Even if he saved the day, it's gotta be the most painful shit imaginable. Knowing everything that happened to that person you loved, and not being able to save them. I know it's a game and I probably sound like a giant wuss over a game but damn if it don't hurt in the feels...😢
Gerald had such good intentions with Project Shadow and truly wanted to help humanity as a whole. Maria was a sweet innocent girl who only dreamt of the day she could visit Earth without fear of dying. But G.U.N ultimately snuffed out both of them all because they could not allow the secrets of the project to get out into the public. Imagine if instead of Gerald trying to take revenge on all of humanity he instead just had Shadow take out G.U.N he would have been far more justified in his actions.
An ex-boyfriend's mother gave me the nickname Hedgehog back in the 90's. For the past 5yrs, I have battled a player named Zeti. I am now stronger than him on this game and he has never defeated me. 🤣
Rating for this game (9/10) Everything in this game is (almost) cool. What I don’t like are the challenges. They just don’t exist. Because in the challenges there are no characters who will help you, as there were in the original "Sonic Generations".
Kinda lame there are no levels from Shadow the Hedgehog, yet Frontiers gets one despite Shadow not Being relevant there. They could've at least reskinned one of the numerous Radical Highway sections into Westopolis.
They can do so much with Shadows character he brings a more dark feel to the Sonic franchise. I'm sure they're testing the waters here to see how it sells then the next game will be a Shadow sandbox rpg like Sonic frontiers maybe.
Being able to play Rail Canyon and Kingdom Valley after so long were not only so much fun to play, but also brought back so many fond memories. Aside from Speed Highway & Rooftop Run, those were my favorite levels to get the fastest time(s) ever back in the day
Mephiles is BACK! Yes! Love his dialogue lol. But the way he screams "I want to exist!" makes me wonder... Does he know he got erased from the timeline in '06 and realizes he's only back in a time anomaly? Is he fighting to exist canonically again? If any boss were to do that, it would definately be Mephiles.
All of the NPC's are supposed to be engaged between stages. Each one has three different conversations, like Maria stating that Shadow needed to do his homework or Rouge encouraging him to cherish this time with Gerald and Maria but not forget that he's moved on.

Personally I prefer the original Shadow the Hedgehog final boss fight with the super form. That one was much more fun, being able to fly around chaos spear everything. Was really entertaining. But still, a good effort from Sega this is.

Remember this is edited down. It's much longer than that if you like going for S-Rank and for collectibles. This took me about 15 hours because I was trying to get perfect runs where I would get all the collectibles and S Rank in the same run (for me, LOTS of fun figuring out locations and routes). If you don't like going for that stuff then you probably could beat it in 3 hours.
2 and a half hours of gameplay? That’s not even worth 50 bucks. Compared to the games before it. Sonic adventure 1 and 2, heroes, shadow the hedgehog. All those games were in a range of 8-12 hours. 20 if you want to 100%
