Respect to the almighty Sanjay. I do wish he spent more time on talking about the coral care and not so much about common things like equipment. The juice is in his methods not his "what not to do" . Dont get me wrong, I really appreciate the video and there was still great info there.
Balancing nutrients and lighting ... 🤯 Great sauce spilled in this video. I’ll def be thinking of ways to incorporate his info into my own system. Thanks for the video! Keep doing what you do! ✊🏾
That is good info. Thats a first I hear about nutrients and the correlation with lighting. I recently started feeding heavy and adding lots of nutrients and noticed corals seem to be reaching for more light. And my lights are bright. Water is crystal clear also.
Sanjay gives some great points on how to have a successful tank. Balance is key to the health of your system. Thanks Richard for this very informative video.. 👍
I was wondering do you have any of the crazy nice Tenuis corals? If yes, are you able to pull out the nice colors with your nutrients being so high? Example not high end or Tenuis, and I know you hate corals with names but Pink Lemonade. The yellow is it yellow or more yellow green? thank you
Eric Allee hey, I think you are referring this question to Sanjay. I will relay the message but you may get a faster response from him if you reach out to him on FB messenger or on his page. Yes, he has amazing tennis corals and he gets some amazing colors. Follow his tank progress on his personal facebook page. But if it was for me, my pink lemonade is more on the yellow side but slight green is definitely noticeable. I also have some high end tenuis that I have no idea what they are. Orange passion I believe as well as few others but they are nursing/coloring back up at the moment. I rad rough shipment due to sudden cold front in Florida and it didn't fare so well and lost colors.
Hi, thank you for watching and taking your time to comment but sorry, I disagree. There are few guys that we should really pay attention to when they speak in this hobby and Sanjay is one of them.
Great tips from the master himself =)
Too short! This video should be much longer!

Sanjay, what do you run alkalinity at in your tank?
reefkeeper2 if I remember correctly he keeps it near 8dkh.
i watched his talk at reef stock 2018 and he said he likes to keep his alkalinity at 9-10 dkH
TheReefGuy5 there we go!
awesome vid, great tips, new sub
happy to have you on board.
My favorite guru in the hobbie.
I've spent maybe 8k+ on my 25g in less than 10 months. I can't imagine how much money has gone into his tanks man.
Jonathan Lee makes one wonder right?
8k in 10 months, what did most of your money go towards ?
Legends.....

Glad to have you for the ride!
And yes, you have to be yourself. :)
It would have been a better video if they filmed the tank and then put a mic on the speaker. There's no point in staring at him for 10 minutes.
