Spectacular setup love the custom cabinets. I am going to totally steal the protein skimmer idea on your setup. Canister filter with a top off switch, what great idea.
George, you are an inspiration, it's good to have deep pockets $ and your own construction company at hand to facilitate such an undertaking, without a doubt you are the man. Enjoy! You have earned it!
All I can say is God bless you! It is breathtaking. I couldn't afford anywhere near that. It has been my dream since a little girl. My mom would take me to pet stores and I would stay for hours. You sound like you enjoy it. I am so happy for you. I just found this video, I know it's too late for comments but thank you for making this video. You are so talented.
Wow, thank you....I have always loved the ocean and all its sea creatures! I've been into fish/coral since i was in elementary school but back then I could only afford a 10 gallon tank!
OMG! Your set-up is amazing. It makes my 180 seem like a beginner tank. I just bought my first MP40 last weekend for $349 and thought it was a little frivolous but it is awesome to have the control in flow. Then I see your various MP60s, MP40s , and Gyres... WOW. I cannot even guess what all of that cost... Well I will guess over 100k. Good for you. If I had that kind of disposable income, I would probably do it too. Keep it up with update videos please.
Nothing but money 15 radions 6 ecotech pumps not to mention all the fish nothing but money. Truly amazing. Great work. George is killing the game right now.
Tank is absolutely amazing man. One of my biggest dreams in life is to have a kitchen with a huge salt water tank, exactly like that. You have no idea how motivitating this is!
I gotta say I really like this tank and his position as well. It’s well placed and uses its area perfect. It’s so elegant and looks natural too. Really impressive work. The fish look super healthy as well.
This is an amazing setup.. i can only imagine the kind of work and dedication that would have went in to complete a project like this.. well done and enjoy the tank
There was no pre-planning that went into my tank. I wanted to get mine up and running before my wife changed her mind. It was for my grandson, his first word was fish.
The things I could do with my system if I had your "fun coupons" :) I made all my own stands, canopies and even my own LED lights and spent 15K on system. This is spectacular, but bet you have 30K easy in it (not including the critters;) NICE JOB!! Glad to see someone else who takes pride in their hobby/work;) Keep up the good work!!
there's 30k probably only between lights wave makers, apex and all that stuff on the main tank not included tank, build and backroom i would think it looks more like 100k invested in there
Wow.I love this tank. This is the best tank ever. Everything is thought before building the entire setup. Bravo. You are a true inspiration to the reefing community. Thank You for sharing.
Awesome tank. What this gives me is a fresh appreciation of nature and how it maintains ecosystems far larger and diverse without a single AA battery used.
First off!!! I envy you lol... 2nd you are in paradise and 3rd... this is amazing!!!! Did I say I envy you lol... good work! I am amazed with your dedication to the hobby
That is FLIPPIN GORGEOUS! NICE JOB!❤🐟 I DREAM about having a tank like that, BRILLIANT! I have had a 300 gallon reef tank that I had to sacrifice when I moved out of state. I'll never be without a 125 from now on! 💕🐟 Want to get married? WOW! ❤🐟
George Abraham yup really good job with the tank, also just to let you know my real name isn’t actually “Sterba I was just playing around with my usernames and now I need to wait 3 months before I can change it again.. 🤣😂🤣..
Most displays at this level have it tucked away in a corner of their house. The thing I love the most is that you have incorporated it into a very core part of the living space in your house. This is not easily done, especially at the seamless level you have achieved here. Very few can actually appreciate the degree of sophistication and forward thinking you have accomplished here. Bravo sir.
Lucky bastard!! LOL I’m in the process of having 1000 gallon tank being made. It’s a floor to ceiling tank. But also, mine is going too be a heavily planted freshwater tank with Discus. Amazing tank guy
BTW. The luck bastard goes for the house as well!!! Nice house man. Where are you? Must be somewhere like California or Arizona if you have fish outside.
George Abraham 😱 incredible I love your set up cause everything is out of the tank and outside, am in the process to remodel my house and tank needs new location on house and my goal will be moving the returns and ref to the outside to have more water capacity for circulation but I need some ingenuity on this, I haven’t look but if can make a video more detail of the outside piping coming from the tank and a little detail of how your returns pumps are set up will be much appreciated I want the bottom of my tank stand empty and everything else outside. Thank you!
WOW! This is one of the most impressive systems I've ever seen.. Achilles tang outside! 3:23 is that a leak? - I noticed right away then watched that part a couple of times. I did notice you had a towel under the overflow so you are likely aware. With so much plumbing I guess you are bound to have minor issues. Your qt setup is also impressive.
Bailey Parrish not that much lol. I had an opportunity to buy a new fully complete 700gal salt setup, with dry rock for $3k. Rich guy decided it wasnt large enough, so he went with a massive 2000ish gallons setup
Bailey Parrish yeah I know, the guy ordered the tank and wasnt able to return or cancel the order, so it was delivered but never even taken out of the crate
obviously it's somewhere in the middle. Radeon pros are $599 each (he has 15) mp60s are $675 each, dude has 5 the 2 mp40s are $700 total gyres are $450 each I've been in the saltwater game for 15+ years, I'm just guessing, but there is prob well over 3000 in rock and livestock. I'm guessing that rock didn't come dry, so it didn't come cheap. Then the corals. I'm only at the 0:44 mark, can't wait to see what is there sump-wise
Fantastic system! I finished an external fish room last year that took a lot of planning, but this is a whole other level and looks like you executed everything very well. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you so much for the compliments and yes I took a lot of time thinking/drawing/planing/and seeking advice before I broke ground...and still I wish I could have done a few small things differently lol!
Yep I know what you mean, but on a project that big there's always going to be a few things that don't end up the way you planned for or didn't anticipate. I say it just gives you something to do in the future trying to correct that stuff when things get a little boring 😎
George, Hi. Beautiful tank. Did you know that one gallon of water weighs 8.84 lbs. so your tank potentially weighs 5629.5 lbs. or roughly 3 tons. I hope your counter and floor space is rated for that much load.
Hey John, My Tank weighs a lot 675 gallons x 8.84 lbs = 5,967 + the glass weighs approx 1,500 lbs + rocks/sand ....therefore i'm close to 7,500 lbs but the tank does not sit on the counter top (the counter is placed outside the tank footprint) and the floor is a concrete slab.
Minor point, but don't forget the rocks and sand and critters displace water so it's not actually water capacity + rocks + sand + other. But it's trivial. Great looking setup!
Yes but the idea is that it's a whole lot of weight to support....also i've got the tank metal stand (500 lbs, wood work, etc.) but your right it's trivial because it becomes tons of weight regardless!
:O George I had to set my coffee down and pick my jaw up off the floor. Words cannot describe how amazing your setup is. Mentally before I ever came across this video this is what I envisioned my dream tank and system being like once I have my own house except maybe not that bad A. This is just awesome. I don't even know what to say hahaha thanks for sharing!!!
Your setup is awesome. That said, in the "fish room," you may want to clean up and/or bundle as much of the wiring and plumbing as possible. There are so many tubes and wires going everywhere, it's not remotely as clean looking as your admittedly more important showpiece aquarium.
That's not really marble in your fishroom is it? Even if you're rich that's pretty overkill. Great idea though getting rid of the problem of splashing on sheet rock. I do love the display tank and cabinet, awesome.
Deon 0026 it’s definitely nice but I’d say close to 1/2 million for work tank and equipment. Depending on where he lives might be even more price of labor
My first reaction to this video is to hate you, but after that I was in total awe of your dedication to the hobby. If I was a millionaire, my setup would be similar.
Very beautiful system. For most of us that set up can only be achieved in our dreams lol. But honestly im lost for words when it comes to one thing. You have over 60k system and you test with API? That's something i just don't get.
Hi George I just came across your reef tank and it's amazing how you've customized your tank, it is Beautiful one of the nicest I've seen great job!👍😍I subbed to your channel and looking forward to seeing your Reef grow.Wow.
This is a really a DIY of a tank check it out Joey here's an idea to fill that corner your about to clear out set up something like this and put all that eco tech wave makers to work how about that Joey let's go bigger than Arons wife get a 1000 gallon salt water system right CJ wouldn't that be nice. Maybe Mr Salt water can help with the build 🤔 Well George you did wonderful and made it your way and that's all that matters.everyone has an opinion to give. but you own idea is what really matters there is no wrong way to Dream. imagine it build it love it share it...Art is bringing your dream to reality.....
This is really neat. Thanks for sharing! Oh, the anxiety I would have knowing that I was responsible if that system crashed. The cost of it would be the least of my worries. That's why I love this hobby so much. It's not really about the money. Even though it is so very expensive.
With set ups like that most of it is automatic. Maby 2 hours. My buddy that works at ripley's aquarium told me they maby do 4-6 hours of maintenance a week. It's all automated.
George, I just came across your video and wow!! I thought I had a huge nice set up but yours is beautiful. I’m a year into my 265g reef tank and really enjoying the hobby. Now I’m setting up a 150g Predator tank. Wish I could see this in person.
Very nice. Been waiting to see this tank with water in it. Looks way bigger than the previous tank. Can't wait to see it when it grows in a bit more. Keep up the good work and keep the updates coming.
This is absolutely insane. Incredible. Beautiful tank. Pricey too. You're dedicated though. Kudos to you building all this. I could never do it myself.
No u don’t running businesses doesn’t afford u the the 3-5hrs min of maintaining this tank requires a day. A lot of automation but still needs regular maintenance. Dad paid for all this don’t be silly. Those radions alone blow this out. Gyre would be suffice for this tank but u have just no idea about cost management for a build. There is tanks your size with better light and flow for less cost. U can tell by the lack of established colonies of sps
Spectacular setup love the custom cabinets. I am going to totally steal the protein skimmer idea on your setup. Canister filter with a top off switch, what great idea.
Thanks buddy, appreciate the kind words!
one word UNBELIEVABLE
inside outside upside downside set up and stocking are totally different. Also sea apples aren’t that common.
Did u said its tuffend glass aquarium.. i just wanted to know about the set up... nobody recomended tuffend glasses for aquarium..
Lolol yep, it's not the size of the tank, it's what you do with it...
Amazing!!! Most pro home setup ever!!! The electric company must love you!
George, you are an inspiration, it's good to have deep pockets $ and your own construction company at hand to facilitate such an undertaking, without a doubt you are the man. Enjoy! You have earned it!
It definitely helps to work in construction and spending all my money isn't as nice as you make it sound (my kids aren't going to college anymore)!
Say it isn't so!...... Well we know what they are going to be when they grow up, "wait for it!" ............ obviously........ Marine Biologist!
The outdoor tank is insane, those clams are ridiculous!! One of the nicest setups I've seen.
All I can say is God bless you! It is breathtaking. I couldn't afford anywhere near that. It has been my dream since a little girl. My mom would take me to pet stores and I would stay for hours. Brother you are setting the bar high for some of us lol 😂
Thanks, a lot of work went into it.
I’ll never show this video to my wife, she will made me to block it 🤣🤣🤣 probably the fist think she will say, I can buy another house with that money
@@FenderSchonJPX all we can do is scale models of such a beast - cant wait to see it full
this is little better than my bubble and sponge filter
Amazing all around, love the acrylic light box/ canopy, great to see something new, the opaque acrylic looks fantastic floating above the tank.
Thank you soo much, the acrylic light box was Julian from Aquarium City's idea
Hey Reef Deep In Love, Thank you for the compliment on the acrylic light canopy. We were honored to have been a part of this build!
ABSOLUTLEY BEUTIFUL . LOVE THE GIANT CLAMS OUTSIDE , JUST BOUGHT A 600.00 DOLLAR SKIMMER OUCH ! AFTER SEEING YOUR SET UP I DONT FEEL THAT BAD .
Don’t feel bad if it brings you joy...just don’t cry when you get the bill!! LoL

Thanks, I tried to make it central in the living space so I can enjoy it all the time.
Adopt me as your son I need to be living in this house with this GORGEOUS TANK! Great video!
You're welcome to come visit anytime, but i've already got two boys driving me crazy lol!
Wow that is hands down the greatest designed system. Tank is absolutely beautiful. You must be an engineer to have those type of design skills.
Wow, thanks
I'm a designer and a contractor
This is an amazing setup.. i can only imagine the kind of work and dedication that would have went in to complete a project like this.. well done and enjoy the tank
Thanks for the compliments Kumar, I'm loving watching this tank grow in...took a-lot of work to get to this point and still working!
Dude, half the video I was admiring the interior of the house. What does this man do for a living, holy crap.
Thanks for the compliments
This got to be one of best setups on TH-cam. Great man.
Wow, what high praise! Thank you...
Noooooo waaaayyyy!!!! I never want a tank again!!! I live through these tanks vicariously!! Genius!!! Sooo much thought goes into these aet ups.
You're a wise man...it's a lot of work and $$
Truly amazing! I'm stunned. Just planning and designing must have took months if not years. So impressive.
I loved the planning process but took me about a year thinking of all the in and outs of this...
There was no pre-planning that went into my tank. I wanted to get mine up and running before my wife changed her mind. It was for my grandson, his first word was fish.
Becareful because it's a slippery slope.
Absolutely incredible! The attention to detail and the setup very advanced. You did an awesome job. Super impressed!

Thanks, yes I love feeling like I get to "scuba dive" everyday
Wow. Perfect tank all around from inside the house to everything outside. Lots of time, money, and hard work into this complete system
WOW this is my dream tank I love everything about it. Great job
Wow thanks for the compliment!
Would look amazing once the frags start growing out, (may need to space them out in a few years.)

WOOAH that’s a very nice system you’ve got there and it’s also very clean and organized as well.

Absolutely unreal bro, freaking wow! I thought I was blessed having a 120 gallon tank haha

Haha, I live Azusa.. don't tempt me.. I'm not that far away..i think
Nice tank. You really need something this size to appreciate a reef and still have a life.
I think so too!
Very rich man! Looks nice
The Aquarium scape is nice and you have many MP circulation pumps you go boy
Wow that outdoor sump is huge you have been blessed

Thanks for the compliment...I've loved this hobby for decades (since i was in the 3rd grade)
Just imagine sitting at the tank and eating some pizza on a friday night watching hundreds of fish swim by.
I love staring into the tank every evening
Definitely a lot of time, money, and planning went into this system which shows in the details of it. Great work and Amazing Display
Thanks so much Jarret, it was a lot of work but well worth it!
George Abraham it shows man...makes me wanna get a reef tank going ny the beginning of 2019, but who knows for now
Yep... gotta do this for my next system. Hell of a job man!! Can’t say much more 😎🤙🏾
Thanks CJ, I appreciate the kind words.

Wow dude! That is a seriously intricate set up to have at home! The electric bill has got to be insane!

Okay serious question how many hours a week do you spend maintaining everything
With set ups like that most of it is automatic. Maby 2 hours. My buddy that works at ripley's aquarium told me they maby do 4-6 hours of maintenance a week. It's all automated.
Wonderful tank, the set-up is amazing and the sump amazing also, Nice video thanks for sharing keep the videos coming my friend!
Thanks for the compliments, i'll try to keep up with the videos updating the progress or showing more details.
That setup cost more then my car
Plural
MORE THAN MY HOUSE
Current value or new, I'm guessing my car cost more new but the current value is probably less. Ok I was wrong, it cost more than my car.
Jeff K is your car a 2018 Ferrari by chance? Lol
What's the ball park you have invested this system to date: $10-15-55k?
Nice setup
Michael Piccirillo some one said 15-30 and he said many times more im guessing 65 to 70k with all the plumbing and fishes i couldnt see it being cheap
George, I just came across your video and wow!! I thought I had a huge nice set up but yours is beautiful. I’m a year into my 265g reef tank and really enjoying the hobby. Now I’m setting up a 150g Predator tank. Wish I could see this in person.
GOALS 💯
Looks great! I really like the aquascaping in the display.
Thanks, I wanted a wide tank so I could do something different with the rocks.
WOW! 2 questions.
1. Is that a custom aquarium
2. What is your estimate on how much this all costs? I’m think long at a range of 15k - 30k
Yes it is a very custom aquarium and most aspects of it are not readily available....cost me many times more than you have in mind!
he got 12 grand in lights alone
Wow, I was guessing 15k - 30k too.
This is $50k, Easy!!
Absolutely beautiful setup. Very nice design plan. I love the remote sump room. What are the annual operating costs?
I don't think there's a word in the English language to describe how stunning your aquarium is!
Wow thanks bud
I have a bowl, with one fish. And even that is bars for me to balance sometimes 😂
One word......AMAZING! Thanks for sharing. One of the most impressive set-ups I've seen.
this is super badass
thanks bud
Very nice. Been waiting to see this tank with water in it. Looks way bigger than the previous tank. Can't wait to see it when it grows in a bit more. Keep up the good work and keep the updates coming.
damn this is goals... one day...
This is absolutely insane. Incredible. Beautiful tank. Pricey too. You're dedicated though. Kudos to you building all this. I could never do it myself.
thank you soo much, it was a costly beast!
Bro what do you do for work?
I own a construction company in the Los Angeles area.
George Abraham very cool, tank and set up is awesome man keep up the good work
And that’s how he is able to afford the system he has set up lol.
U can tell by the lack of established colonies of sps
.
Dude you are afflicted!! :) Nice system! love to see it in 2 yrs.
Omg how expensive??
20 dollars
That is simply spectacular! Beautifully presented in every aspect. Well done sir!!
