I'm going soon..just an hour drive :)...but you truly do have to appreciate this kind of dedication. This is what it's all about and I'm just glad the hobby is staying strong. I hope to learn alot and make my living room the same:).
Such a bright place and so breathable. I like so much the white stands ,so much better than black and the wide open shallow tanks. Beautiful corals ,it is so simple but always simple is the best form of complexity. All tanks have a good consistency of corals ,just right not overwhelmingly busy, Ali he is so special,he’s got the touch.

Looking forward to being a customer again when I get back into this hobby soon. Loved the melanopus (cinnamon) clown pair. Ali special ordered me a pair way back probably around 2012. Unfortunately they got a fungus that took them out. Great video and amazing reefs!
I've been out of the hobby for decades now. One thing I'm noticing that I didn't see in that day is the open topped aquariums. I was used to an enclosing plate with a fluorescent tube on top.
nice tanks man. Me and my buddies love to break laws. Many tangs in one tank. Too many corals who fight. This way we LEARN. One day this will grant us the ultimate REEF. Through test and study. Love it man. Love your 10 years. Best of luck!
Watching again this video , so amazing . Ali , how do you calculate the number of the fishes , to run your tanks without carbon and anti phosphates reactor ? I think my next tank will be set up like yours 😀
Ali is the man. I believe hes from the bay too:) We will be in LA in August and will definitely come see his place and pick up some of his cool corals. I love those huge zoas!
LOL, I don't care if someone uses incandescents as long as they get the results, I still absolutely love the look of metal halides, especially when supplemented with blue LEDs
Hahha I know, just giving you a hard time. MH + T5 is still king for me, but I do enjoy the blue pop from a nice 450nm led strip on occasion. Props to Ali for keeping his setups simple and elegant
