RIP Jake, great video! really miss his content and passion. Awesome video! Jakes videos have helped me so much in guiding me into success with this hobby. Cant thank this guy enough, thank you so much Jake for all you've done brother! You've kept it real
This was the very first video that got me Into reefing. WHAT WE DO FOR OURSELVES ALONE DIES WITH US. HOWEVER WHAT WE DO FOR OTHERS AND THE WORLD REMAINS AND IS IMMORTAL. #RIPJAKEADAMS❤🙏🏻
To Evan, this is the best tank I’ve seen on you tube, it’s innovative, easy on the eye, well balanced, just spectacular to look at full of amazing coral and fish, you must be so proud of your achievements in this showpiece tank.
Love the fact he has one of the best SPS tanks I've ever seen with an amazing aquascape which I'm sure many of us will use as inspiration (nice way to say copy) and that his filtration includes filter floss over a fancy automated roller and a bag of carbon instead of a fancy reactor, gives people like me on a budget HOPE, thank you sir and thank you Jake for sharing this awesome content with us all.
One of the best tanks on TH-cam, so thumbs up. I think technologically designers for marine aquariums have invent designs to incorporate "more things in one" cut corners, as the technicalities of things are too much, the amount of plugs cords and not to mention the damn electricity bills.
Can’t wait for reefstock. I’ve watched your videos/exhibition updates for years. We never get anything down under. I live 5 minutes from the exhibition centre in Sydney!
I didn’t like this one at all. I LOVED IT! I actually watched it in its entirety without one ten second forward step. Backed up a few because of an interruption. Didn’t want to miss a frame. Great video!
Hi Jake, great video as usual! I love all your videos and now the TH-cam Vlog. Great job you've done in the studio warehouse. I just wanted to mention that I live in Miami, FL and I had one of these Blue Gigantea Carpet Anemone back in 2005. I had it for about 4-5 years until I tore down the tank and sold it for about $1K. I have not seen one since. I re-entered the hobby about a year and a half ago and I was able to find a metallic green gigantea and I love it. It is actually pretty large also. It takes up about 1/4 of my Reefer 250. I grabbed it from a LFS and I don't know if they knew what they had, but I was able to get it for about $140. I thought it was a steal. I've had it about 4 months its doing great. Just wanted to share this with you. Keep up the good work. I love your channel.
Great video! Just gonna start getting into the reefing world in a month. (Gathering quality equipment). And this is jump start on knowledge moving forward.
Greetings from SoCal. Thanks Evan for allowing Jake to share your reef. Great interview Jake.... Evan is living the dream 🥳. I need more flow 🥴🤣😂. Idea for store name, GET MORE REEF, INC ....
19:00 I think I have that purple one. I got it in a grab-bag ebay frag pack a couple years ago. Love the color, very hardy, but it's been a SLOOOOOW grower.
Same! I seen another YT channel where the guy makes time lapses and takes still photos as well of his tank and uses them for comparison and adjustments. I thought.... what a great idea. Will definitely have to do that.
Very nice video. Great Job, Jake!!! We all appreciate you sharing it! Evan is a very cool guy! I hope everyone in America would follow his humble way of sharing his corals around with friends @ 19:53. That's what we used to do back in the day and today most people think about making money with frags. It became so comercial and it's not nice. Perhaps impossible to change? Maybe not!!! Let's share corals with love! T5 rules! Specially at that distance from the water!! And all the supplemental LEDs look great. Would be even better and cheaper if he had halides/T5s. Not flaming at all, just saying. Acros LOVE halides... People think he has too much light, but they don't know that those spot light type LEDs were actually designed to be used like that. That is the way the people should have Kessils, as supplemental spot lights! No name Acros!! I love it! The essence of reef keeping! Cartoon names are associated with price tags! Great corals! Amazing colonies! Very well cared for! Cool guy! Thanks again! I want to go Australia!!!!!!
we get a calendar every year for Xmas too. The MIL fills in the whole fams bdays ect .so there are no excuses. lol. It's a very nice thoughtful gift and yearly thing. it's the small thongs that excite me I guess. love the tank. that's the rockscape I would like to try out.
Such a refreshing set up man wow! A more naturalistic reef look as opposed to the typical dump the rocks from bottom front to the top back then put coral all over it style

how did he pass? just seen this channels earlier videos. RIP

This is utterly magnificent! Elevated aquascape has been absolutely perfectly executed, so so gorgeous!

Amazing tank in such a short time, it shows you what a difference starting with good sized colonies can do for you.
Great video! Just gonna start getting into the reefing world in a month. (Gathering quality equipment). And this is jump start on knowledge moving forward.
Man that tank is sick! aside from lighting he doesn't seem the least bit anal about water chemistry and dosing but yet his tank results are fantastic.
That intro music is always on point.
cant wait for reefstock!
Awesome tank and habitat Bro. Love the suspended reef.
Great tank tour. And only one year set up!? Edited, did I hear that correctly?Great heavy ball analogy! Very true.
Super great Setup I love it. This is Top and I wish to learn more from you Reef Builders.

Wonderful! A real treat to see. Thanks for sharing!🌿
Holy crap that's a lot of light. I would expect that to almost be too much light, but you can't argue with results.
thought same thing!
Same! I seen another YT channel where the guy makes time lapses and takes still photos as well of his tank and uses them for comparison and adjustments. I thought.... what a great idea. Will definitely have to do that.
