I have to remove the water passage on the same model car. It seems like the car from the video also have a leak in the same area. How can I find torque specs on water passage bolts ?
@RB The Mechanic off the ball question, I have looked everywhere youtube and google. As far as the transmission pan filter does a 2017 honda accord sport have one? I know there is a transmission oil cooler filter but I can't find any information if the pan has a filter on a cvt?
@@RBTheMechanic so the transmission cooler filter is the only filter for the cvt? Most other cars have one in the pan and a cooler filter that I noticed.. I just don't want to drop the pan I'd I don't have to cause I just did a transmission servicing
When I broke that bolt loose it was mega tight from the factory. Felt like it was close to twisting off. 41 ft. Pounds seems overkill. Put on some Loctite and went for 30ft lbs.

People complain and do wrong things so it’s diffrent on all vehicle no other reason

Sorry I don’t have torque specs u might need to google it or call dealer they can get it for u
Wouldn’t it be easier to take the wheel off also and catch the threads through the side ?
Yeah that too but if u got to do it from top!! This is the way
Actually that only helps with the bottom most bolt of water pump. The other two hidden bolts are blocked by the sub frame.

Yes there filter it’s connected to line up on top

Any reason not to replace the tensioner at the same time?
It wasent making at noise or had any issues but if u got above 80k miles it would be good idea to knock it out and belt same time
The Haynes repair manual says hex bolt for tensioner is 41 foot pounds
