I remember in CBs last season, I ran Tirpitz in one battle where I tore apart an entire flank by myself. The enemy team hesitated and panicked when they saw me heading in their direction. I ended up with 4 kills and ~173k dmg. I was so focused on gunning down the flank, I didn't even notice most of my team was dead by the time I was done. In the end, my team won. Brawling with Tirpitz is such a blast.
The exact numbers on secondaries accuracy are 10% just for taking manual secondary aiming, 25% for designating a target, and over the course of 45 seconds the bonus will grow to 50% better accuracy, some of the bonus is retained when switching targets but weegee didnt give us that number.
80 % of your accuracy wil switch so switching to a different target with 50% you'll have 40%
idk why WG doesn't just make the border like an island where you get completely stuck. I'm sure there'd be lots of border-related dev strikes at first but once players learn to avoid the border like islands it'll be fine and no one can abuse the border. or just make touching the border dot like fire or flooding
I try to avoid the border but sometimes I get too tunnel visioned and run into it lmao
Played a Scharnhorst battle the other day and got matched up with another Scharn against a Tirpitz, Bismarck, Prinz Hein, and a Zieten, all on my flank…
Neither team ever crossed the capture zone once lmao.

I like Tirpitz. I've gotten a Tirpitz B from a black friday crate a couple of years back and have been greatly enjoying it. I tend to run a full tank build one mine though. I've been switching my german battlecruisers back to either full tank builds or hybrid builds these days. I seem to be getting better results with these builds then with a full on secondary build
My tirpitz is one of my oldest premium ships, and the 3rd ship with more games on it. I liked this ship a lot.
Now its not bad, but there are better options, if im going with a german T8 i will pick Odin.
Tirpitz's accuracy's fine if you're running aiming mod in slot 3 instead of the secondary mod. Aside from that can run a secondary build and not lose a lot.
If like me you've got a full secondary build Bismarck, there's not a ton of point running an identical setup on Tirpitz. And because Tirpitz has those torps, it's less pressing that you linger at ~10km and slowly farm secondary damage. All that extra damage from your secondaries being slightly more accurate is a waste if the enemy end up just trying to rush into torp range and thus get themselves dev struck anyway.
With the aiming mod in slot 3 you get decent range potential, your secondary ability's still tolerable (especially when ramped up), and you've still got torps if someone thinks they can out-brawl you.

Also I would agree on the tirpitz vs Bismarck, but I can put my 21 point lutjens in tirpitz... so that's what I prefer.
So what your saying is, feature and power creep has rendered a ship prior to those features being introduced as ineffective... colour me surprised
Those DDs tho, the enemy Kidd was trying really hard to get killed, and your Lightning spent most of the game behind the island, not even capping or spotting
Border needs to be changed that if you are in contact with the border for a long period you either A. start taking percentage damage like a fire, or B take more dmg from being hit.
Abusing the border is stupid, i think the tactic of hugging it should result in negative feedback so people don't just keep running to borders to escape, also aeroplanes bouncing off them is dumb.. however that is mostly done chasing down people who run into corners.
It would be helpful if border hugging would be punished.
Eg. HP decreased for every second spent on the border.
I would even increase the per sec penalty the longer the border hugging takes.
As a CC, can You suggest smtg like this to WG?

I'd make it a severe accuracy decreasing debuff instead.
Borderhugging is essentially retreating from the battle if the border didn't restrict movement, which should reduce the accuracy of both ships, instead of only the ship shooting the border crosser.
Almost no battlefield in existence is square box, especially in the open ocean, hence I don't think border crossing warrants any hp decreasing debuff.
Remember using your destroyer, cruiser or CV captains for meme premium BBs.

What camo are you using on your Tirpitz? It looks like the standard perma camo, but it's slightly different.
I bet it's the alternative color scheme that you can get for completing collections

i had a game like this on the p. heinrich today being top tier with a secondary build is an absolute blast i just hit w and was melting ppl on both sides of me we won and i had 190 secondary hits
The main guns are just so bad on German BBS unless you are on top of the enemy. They need a buff.

Bismarck is definitely better than the derpitz.. The torps are incredibly situational while the hydro comes useful every game.. I just love the derpitz too much to not play it though, the haloween camo looks great on it, and it rakes in the credits.
Tirpitz is still great. Unless there is a cv or subs.
I would like to see you resurrect your Map Guide videos.
My highest base XP round was in a Dirpitz. Over 5k base xp playing solo in a random battle. I really wish I had that replay still. Tirpitz used to be the king of sub 5k brawling, now I would rather be in a Mass over either GermanT8.
I wish WG would introduce a little more love into the other secondary BB's. I miss the old brawling laying it out there full ifhe build Mass and tirpiz used to be so much fun! Nice game in Tirpiz

Hello, lately almost all the channels I follow are paying more and more attention to Tier 10 ships. I guess this is justified from the point of view of the fans of these channels. In-game though, for the past 4 and more weeks, the presence of T10 ships in "random battles" has become unbearable.
I have chosen to specialize in the German T8 cruiser Mainz and the battleship Tirpitz.
Unfortunately, though, it's almost impossible to get into a battle dominated by T8 or T7 ships. What's more, in the last 3 weeks I'm always if not the only one, of only 3 Tier 8 ships in a Tier 10 team. And by T10 I mean predominantly T10, not T9 and a few T10.
This started to become a very annoying situation that pretty much put me off using any of my Tier 8 ships.
I would really like to be able to select "no T10 ships/battles please".
I personally am a fan of the more historically accurate ships, those from T5 and T6 for example, to realistic ones in T8. The ships in T9 and T10 do not match these characteristics, with too many gadgets, and too much firepower, the game becomes something completely different. I know there is a large group of players who like this, but there are also those like me who don't like it. I would really like to have the option, especially in "random battles" to limit my participation in teams to T9 ie. no Tier10 ships battles.
Let them play with themselves, or even T9, but I'm bored of being the cannon fodder in T10 fights.
I hope you reported that Kanas. He was exploiting the border mechanic. Poor play in my book.
