with all German BBs, aim for the upper hull and superstructure and get full pens and 10-15 k salvos.. constantly. With occasional 20-30k They're very very easy to kill in todays WoWs... Unfortunately they have been power crept *a lot* Don't get me wrong, GK & FDG are still fun, Bismarck and Tirpitz are too... but they havnt been "Good" for years. Wargaming has power crept them to death with BBs spamming HE or with better guns and armor and even nerfed their main gimmick (secondaries). I dont like it much but it is what it is.

Thanks for featuring my replay SeaLord! This is my 19 point capt that I had on my GK before I reset the line for the Research Bureau. This was my dedicated Secondary Build capt. I have Emergency Repair Spec, MLG turrets, Adrenaline Rush, concealment, Close Quarters Combat and Long Range Secondary Batteries. Looking back on this replay I should've held my fire on the Richie and used that shot for Bismarck in the background and torps take out the Richi. That would've got me the Double Strike. I unfortunately suffered from tunnel vision in this match. Funny thing was I didn't expect to pull off this carry as it was just a joke that played in the back on my mind. Thanks again for feature! Keep making the great WoWS content!
Ok..Tirpitz,lets face it...Or,lets say Germans in General, are good at mid and close range,and not that fine at Long distance shots..but if you build her "right",for Close Combat(because of Torpedos,and very strong AA)...dear Boy,THAT ship IS a BRAWLER Deluxe! I'm one of the top 50 most prolific Tirpitz players in NA (for some reason I have 2100+ games in it) and I have to tell you now that it's REALLY hard to find a match where Tirpitz is tops, but when it comes it never stops being an experience.
then again I feel fighters are useless as well. With the recent exploit uncovered by serazahar, prob more so. So sticking to spotters for behind island spotting and shooting.
Yeah I've watched fighters flying over top of inbound strikes and doing nothing. These were *active* fighters that had been airborne for ~15 seconds. They are basically useless if the CV strikes and immediately recalls they often remove the fighters, still hit you & lose no planes.
I confess I take the spotter too for no specific reason, I like to throw some shells from afar from time to time I guess :D The torp are great around the islands and when things get really hot. My favorite premium ship. 18:24 "the man pays for the whole ship, he uses the whole ship" love the quote!
Despite the power creep Tirpitz and Bismarck are still beautiful ships with a perfect silhouette and classic line . Not like the fantasy abberations of other T8+. BBs
I've just thought of something, spotter aircraft irl were supposed to give accurate positions back to the ships at long range to adjust their fire right? So what if there was a mechanic where past like, 15 kilometers when the spotter is active, you get like a 5-10% reduction in your dispersion, maybe for the higher tier ships it would be past 20 kilometers. and again it only works past a certain distance so you can't just like pop it off for a cruiser at 10 kilometers and blow their head off.
German BBs starting from t8 to t10 has a citadel weakness right under and ahead of the first turret. its a very small area so its very difficult to hit. Aerroon did a video on it year ago
Me and my friend always play together. I take Bismarck and he takes Tirpitz. Mainly because of our styles. I'm more tactical so I utilize the heavy armor belt and massive firepower of Bismarck while he wrecks havoc utilizing the unique armor of Tirpitz that's great for close range. Which also plays into Tirpitz' torpedoes.
Wish I could stand to play WoWS anymore. Just to much politics, and shady business for my tastes. But, I'll support you. Thanks for the content. edit: 8/12 is 2/3rds not 3/4 :P

I have one question: If i have one Captain for Scharnhorst, Tirpitz, Pommern and GK and i play all of themm wiht full sec. should i take IFHE then or not?
No, German secs have the improved pen so no need for IFHE. If you want Secs with IFHE go for the usn ones although I wouldn't recommend it coz despite the fact that they are 127s and don't pen that much they are flamethrowers with their hight fire chance and reload.
Imagine F2P players could actually grind some Missions to get a free Premium ship like Tirpitz, I would definitly love to see that as I have absolutly no Premiums (cause F2P)
I think the dockyard would be a great thing without the time limit. Even if it would be something like PR scale of grind, it doesn't matter if you have endless time.
If you play long enough, you do end up getting it. I got my first one from Black Friday, then the Strasbourg campaign. And definitely keep grinding for coal
Edit: If they would do such a thing like @An idiot has sad with a kind of dockyard that has unlimeted time, WG should improve the AI in Co-op battles, cause the battles only last for 5 minutes :I (Yes, I know I'm a noob XD)

Has wargaming made secondaries useful again Or are they still trash? I’ve not played since they nerfed secondaries into the ground and I kinda miss the game. Just curious if I should give it a shot again.
Entirely depends on the ship. Secondaries that aren't German or American actually have a purpose now, and Tirpitz's have still done some work in this game
@@waverleyjournalise5757 when the captain changes happened. It rendered the Mass, Pom, Tirpitz, Kurfürst, and Georgia essentially useless (at least in comparison to how they were pre change which was already fairly underpowered). So you’re saying there’s been a buff since?
@@tristanplatts8869 There was a "buff" announced in the dev blogs just before the update was released, so if you've played them since and don't like it, that's probably how it is still. The only full secondary builds I've used since are Agincourt, Gneisenau and Bismarck, of which the Bismarck has been the worst affected.

Lol! How stupid people can be to think that the Tirpitz is a destroyer just because it has torps and ignoring all other aspects this ship has without a second thought? Been playing this game for over 2 years, what I can confirm is that the mass majority of the players in this game are straight idiots with egos matching that of 2 yo. I saw a chimp once, having 20k matches with avg damage of only 18k with 37% WR and it tried to mansplaining everyone how to be a "good" player just like it.
Wanna love this ship but, become to hate it in T10MM + nobody pushes anymore T9 T10 MM long-range snipping, HE spam and it needs dd clear path to push what doesn't happen. Hard to love. What a difference with the Scharnhorst awesome ship and it gets up tiered more than in days gone by, but it holds it's own more than Tirpitz. Don't understand it.

Pushing in a BB usually only works if you have support or completely inept opponents. More times than not it will get you a quick death.

I would say no, you will want to use the HE for setting fires on angled targets at range and it doesn't really work at all with that skill
