I want to say I’ve tried so many cake pop dough recipes and this one is now my go to!! It has definitely changed my cake pop game and I can also roll a beautiful uniform ball now 😆 thank you soooo much
Hey girly!! I am so happy to hear about your experience with the recipe and that this works well for you just as it does for me💕 I know the struggle, it's soo frustrating not being able to roll the perfect shape, and this dough changes everything for your cake pops !! 🤗 If you take photos of your work would love to see how they come out 🤩
I've been a cookie maker for a decade and swear this is the best cake pop tutorial I've ever seen! I can work magic on a cookie, but could never do these justice. Thank you so much 💓
Honestly, this is the best cake pop tutorial EVER! I ve been struggling with cake pops for a while, they always got out of the stick, or had cracks, and I just made 60 cake pops following these instructions and that didn't happen once! Thank youuuuuu for posting this😊
Dearest Cristina, I now have mastered cakepops thanks to your recipe. I have made this recipe several times now. I have a question, if you please, how to you store them and can you freeze them? Thank you in advance. Star Picard

Thankful you are willing to teach us. Can we use the Wilton melting pot I invested then saw not everyone uses the candy melts I’m new here to serious treat making I want to add it to my business I’m starting.
Tried making cake pops for the first time after watching this video even though I don't have a stand mixer! For the people who don't have a stand mixer I used the hand mixer to crumble the cake and then just kneaded it to get it like hers, and it worked well! They taste and look good!
I tried cake pops today and what a disaster. I was following someone else's instructions and was told my cake pops had to be very cold before dipping. Almost every one cracked and had lumpy chocolate. Thank goodness I found your tutorial! Thank you so much! I can't wait to try this. You're awesome!
Cake pops have always been my weak spot in the cake community but I just tried your tutorial and this is a total winner. I just made 6 dozen and only one fell off the stick and to my surprise I was able to rescue it and still use it because it kept it's shape. Thank you so much! You have made a new cake bestie!
This is the best cake pop dough I have ever made!! I was able to roll and dip my cake pops with none of them falling off the stick. They tasted delicous and my guests loved them.
Cristina, I am writing to let you know that I have used your techniques since wanting to make cakepops that didn't drive me insane while making. Since following your direction I have made the most moist, delicious, and decadent pops anyone has tried! I get compliments EVERY time I've made them, and I have several family members that request them for their birthdays and gifts! Thank you so much for such an amazing video! I couldn't have had so much success without you! Also I've tried your strawberry shortcake cruchies and YUM. Anyone reading this, totally try her crunchies! They are SO good and taste so much better than chopped up oreos 👌❤
I was ready to stop offering cake pops to my customers. I hated making them! After watching your video, I completed both of my orders and made extras! I made over 100 cake pops today and I now love it! The only thing that I can say is that there's a lack of flavor due to leaving out the icing, but flavoring can be added to the dough. This is a game changer!!
Do you mind sharing if you actually used an 8x12 pan or a typical 9x13? Asking because I'm having trouble finding that irregular size and the link now leads to a 7x11 pan instead.
I must say that out of all of the cake pop and Candy mold videos that I have watched so far, yours is the only one that made sense to me and that sat well with me in certain areas, especially when using the butter instead of oil because even oil in a cake doesn't taste all that great and I've learned that at an early age. The biggest helpful tip was when you put the cake pop on a drill to get it to turn for the drizzle decorations because I knew that I needed something that will be able to hold the stick and turn the cake pop while I decorated it HOWEVER, I just never imagined using a drill which is an awesome idea and I thank you for that.💝
I just want to say thank you for sharing all of your secrets with us! Not many people do what you have done to help us all out! You have a good heart 💞
The drill trick for the swirls is awesome! Worked really well. The dough recipe/technique came out nice and smooth too, and definitely not greasy like a typical box cake recipe (though those don't often fall of the stick for me, but now and then during coating). Texture and taste is up to preference, as leaving out buttercream does make it less sweet, while still having the added sweetness of the chocolate melt on the outside. And luster dust really adds a nice touch too. I found a set of a bunch of colors on amazon that worked well. Would like to try out other brands sometime too. Love the streamlined process for uniform size using the meatballer versus scoops or weighing. And no cracks due to watching the temp of the chocolate before dipping (also helps not chilling the dough first). Thanks again for the tips.
This is the best cake pop tutorial! I have tried so many other tutorial and failed! But you're the only one that explains it so well and how to master cake pop! Mines almost came out perfect like yours but way better from where I started!! Thank you so much! I saved this video, subscribed, & liked your page on Amazon! Thank you so much!!! ❤🍭
You're amazing! I always used the Pillsbury to start with but would include a box of van pudding but that was for my cakes! Now I wanna go for something different like chocolate covered strawberries & pretzel rods, cake pops, cookie pops, etc... I will be looking forward to viewing other videos of yours! Again you you're amazing & thank you so much for sharing 🫶!!!
Hey Amanda! It's great that you found this video when you are first starting out 🤗I'm happy to help! This recipe as well as the baking method allows for maximum moisture, which means you don't need frosting 💕 excited for you to test out these tips for your cake pops!
Oh my goodness ! You are a genius ! I have been baking for a very, very long time. I work with special needs kids and we have 1 day every week we have baking day. Cakepops are always their choice. Thank you so much !xo
Soooo glad I came across this video. My granddaughter turns 7 next week and wanted a cake with lollipops on top with glitter and sprinkles. No time to order one so Grandma said she'd do it. I'm a terrible cook and I mean terrible. Plan is buy 2 cakes and flip them into something pink and visually great😊too risky for me to make😆. Now the lollipops I think I can handle this recipe and instructions are perfect so thankyou for sharing. I may have to do some practice lollypops first
Oh and I forgot to mention in my previous comment about how you are the only person out of all of the videos that I have watched that will use your stand mixer which to me is the most smartest and easiest thing to do because I was going to do that myself instead of just using my hands. I also love your sweat method which I haven't seen anyone else use either in any of the videos that I have watched and I have watched a lot of them! Thanks Again!!💝
Love this video! Thank you for sharing! I was using another “no frosting” recipe but yours has less ingredients so I’m definitely going to give it a try.
I just followed your cake pop recipe and it is AMAZING!!! It's perfectly flavored and not overly sweet like when people put icing in it! Thank you so much! ❤

Hey Cristina! Bunch of thanks to you for sharing your step by step guide how to master in cake pop making, selection of chocolate and the method of dipping All came out soo perfect and i made 150 cake pops with lots of confidence and all came out with out a single crack ❤ Way to go and heartful thanks to you again ❤🎉
Fantastic tutorial! I have never made them before, but just got all of the supplies for carrot cake pops yesterday and going to be giving this a go. Thank you for being so informative
It's also my first time, I was going to use cream cheese frosting and I do like it. However, I didn't find the original method video I had seen so I just clicked this one and immediately covered in foil. Let me know how it went!
Thank You so much Cristina! I made cakepops for the first time for my baby shower, and this video just "corrected" everything I did wrong! Lmao, thank you again for all the fails and trials so that WE don't have to waste and or make the same mistake. I haven't officially tried this method yet, but I definitely am for my daughters 1st birthday mermaid party. I see all the comments saying this is thee best way to go, so that, I will do!🤗
Hi. Thanks for all the info, I’m going to attempt my very first batch of cake pops ever with this video. Just a few questions: do you leave the cake to sweat outside the refrigerator all night? Also after the cake pops are made, where and how do you store them?
Yes, u leave it out over night on the counter to put moisture into the cake which means u don’t need any icing to bind the cake together. After I complete my cake pops I put mine in the refrigerator, but I guess u can leave them out in a storage container without going bad for a couple of days.
Holy COW!!! I'm a teacher and want to try and perfect cake pops this summer after watching your video!! You are an artist!!! I love your techniques. I've only tried to make them once in my life...fail. After watching your tutorial, I feel a little more confident, thank you. 💚💜💙❤️
I'm definitely going to give your method a try. Every attempt I've made has been unsuccessful. I really like the thoroughness of your instructions. They came out beautifully 😍
Cristina! This is an amazing video! Can't wait to try! I just subscribed too! ❤️❤️ Small question: How long do you wait before dipping and inserting the sticks into the cake pop? (Currently working on some halloween treats!)
This has got to be the best cake pop dough recipe!!! The cake pops are easy to did and taste delicious. The best part is they do not fall off of the stick when dipping in chocolate.
it's my first time trying to attempt making desserts for my daughter's bday. I was wondering if you can make these ahead of time, how long in advance to make them? also, how to store them? love you're videos! they are so helpful 🥰
Cristina … Thank you for this amazing tutorial! I just made these for the first time 2 weekends ago. I used Pillsbury box cake mixes as you suggested - yellow, chocolate, lemon, and strawberry. They were a hit! I’m eager to branch out and make other flavors somehow. If I were to use the yellow cake mix as my base, how would you recommend changing up the flavor? For example, to try a version of an Orange Blossom cake … would you add orange extract? Or, perhaps would you add orange juice? (And if you would add juice, would that mean that you needed to cut back on one of the other liquid ingredients - milk or water?) Thanks!
Hey just wondering since I just baked a Betty Crocker yellow cake mix with the regular box instructions.... Does Pillsbury ask for 2 eggs? Mine asked for 3 eggs and 1/2 cup of oil, 1 c of water. I hadnt seen this video so I didn't even add any milk
Thank You for your tips very informative great video. I subscribed going to try making my first cake pops 😊. Do you leave the pop in the fridge for 2hrs before dipping?
Wow! This is by far the best cake pop recipe I’ve tried! Literally fool proof! Great tips too! The only thing that went wrong with about 3 of 20 cake pops was that the chocolate cracked even though I had never refrigerated them, they were at room temp..any tips for that?
Hi Cristina! I always follow the instructions on the box - 1 cup water, 1/2 cup oil and 3 eggs and I always have leakage of oil run down the stick. Yesterday I substituted the water for milk and oil for butter, but still had the same issue. Any idea why this could be? Only happens with the white chocolate pops… the blue ones I did had no leakage.
Hi, I just entered my insta name for the giveaway, but also how do you recommend to store the cake pops after dipping and decorating? Also how long do they last? Do I refrigerate or leave them out at room temp? Thanks so much!!! ❤️
Love this!! Questions: When I try to add luster dusts, mine always kinda skip places, and gets darker and lighter in areas. Could that be from condensation? How do you store them? I have always put mine in bags and stored in the fridge since i worry about them melting-Many thanks!!
Thank you!! I am so glad I found this video. I have been struggling with cake pops, too soft, cracking. But I followed your video exactly and they came out perfect. Thank you for all the tips!
Hello Kathy! I do freeze my dough ahead of time, however I don't roll them and I explain why in my shelf life of treats tutorial🤗 I explain the times that I complete each part of the cake pop process as well as storing instructions if you would like to learn all the information by watching here💕➡️ th-cam.com/video/rR7r7p17_4g/w-d-xo.htmlsi=TRLea2cF5j-2uX0E
Hello Rebecca ! I try my absolute best to explain everything in the most detail so that you can fully understand the process without wondering what the missing steps are, and you are able learn 🤗
Hello Cristina I tried the chocolate cake box with your recipe and it came out very fudge like. It was very soft. How can I improve this? Thank you for all your help in advance.
This is such a great recipe doing them for my grandbabies. I’m wondering if you can freeze the cake if you don’t wanna make it all up at one time and use it later will it work just as well if you let it come to room temperature?
Tried these and man they are good. I've seen other recipes where they added buttercream frosting to the cake to make the texture but I prefer the sweat it out method.
This video is everything, I was struggling with cakepop since along time ago, now for very first time my cakepops are so smoth and the coated is perfect, really really thanks
I want to say I’ve tried so many cake pop dough recipes and this one is now my go to!! It has definitely changed my cake pop game and I can also roll a beautiful uniform ball now 😆 thank you soooo much

How many cake pops did you get from one box?
My guess is 25-27 cake pops. That’s what I got following these instructions and using the same meatball utensil
@@candyherrera3743 the meatball utensil she linked is tiny. It’s 1.25 inches so that’s 1 and 1/4”. Is that what you used to make yours?

I have a question… after you formed the cake pop dough and put them on the silicone mold, did you refrigerate them? Or stored them? And for how long?
At the end she notes not to refrigerate them as that is what causes cracking in the chocolate.
I’ve worked in many bakeries that have never figured out the best method. You are a genius! 🍡

Love this!! Questions:
When I try to add luster dusts, mine always kinda skip places, and gets darker and lighter in areas.

Sooooooo beautiful shapes and nice color 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Do you ever freeze your dough then use? I would think it would help with time to have balls done ahead of time. Ty

What could you use instead of that thinning agent?
Very informative. I love her step by step guide. This was great and very helpful!
Can you use a made from scratch cake mix instead?
I don’t like how some boxed cake tastes.
Thank you so much! Your recipe worked so well❤
Hi Cristina, can you clarify if the cake needs to be refrigerated overnight before rolling into balls? Thank you
I love how you explain how to do whatever you are showing us!
Hello Rebecca ! I try my absolute best to explain everything in the most detail so that you can fully understand the process without wondering what the missing steps are, and you are able learn 🤗
Best tutorial. Thank you. Can make in advance, freeze them?
Love the technique especially without frosting will definitely try it
Thank you ❤ you are so sweet to give us these great tips! Where did you get your custom heels!? So cute!
If you want to color the yellow cake, do you add the food coloring to the batter or to the cooked cake when mixing it in the mixer?
Thank you a million times bec this is by far the best turorial
Do you grease the cake pan first then add parchment paper or vice versa ?

Hello Cristina
I tried the chocolate cake box with your recipe and it came out very fudge like. It was very soft. How can I improve this?
Thank you for all your help in advance.
I have the same problem 😞 please advise!
This is such a great recipe doing them for my grandbabies. I’m wondering if you can freeze the cake if you don’t wanna make it all up at one time and use it later will it work just as well if you let it come to room temperature?
Thank you for the wonderful tips❤️
I have a few questions:
Have you ever made golf ball cake pops?
If you have, what mold did you use?
Love your tutorials!! Has the cake recipe changed due to the amount of cake mix is less in a box now? Thank you!
You have changed the game for me with making cake pops thank you so much
Tried these and man they are good. I've seen other recipes where they added buttercream frosting to the cake to make the texture but I prefer the sweat it out method.
Everything you have shown is quality I can tell.
Hi Christina! Thank you for your content. What if I don't have a stand mixer? Can I use a handheld mixer or mix by hand?
This looks amazing! About how many cake pops can you get from 1 box?
This video is everything, I was struggling with cakepop since along time ago, now for very first time my cakepops are so smoth and the coated is perfect, really really thanks
But do they taste good??
