The Entire Economy is about to collapse, it's over?

Back in the day, an honest hard worker could make a decent living if they held a job down and kept their finances in check. However, it is now more difficult than ever to survive on the average salary alone due to the constant increases in cost of living.
Nowadays, the income and opportunity gap has grown alarmingly large, and it seems that the divide between the wealthy and the rest of society is only going to continue increasing.
There are no longer upper, middle, and lower class distinctions anymore. It is now the rich, a
wall, and then everyone else.
