What I don’t understand is, on one hand we are told the stock market will crash and yet on the other we are told ways of investing in the stock market. Oxymoron or paradox?

While keeping your portfolio allocations balanced, de-risk your investments, support your core holdings, and take some gains. Even managed portfolios don't always perform as well as I would advise, so it's essential to get the advice of a qualified fiduciary; my spouse and I find that this works for us. Net of dividends, we have had over 80% capital growth.

I had an early understanding of trading assets but was limited by my technical analysis skills. That changed when I discovered Shea Ardolf's strategy. Day trading should be given more attention as it is less affected by the market's unpredictable nature.

This is precisely why I like having a portfolio coach guide my day-to-day market decisions: with their extensive knowledge of going long and short at the same time, using risk for its asymmetrical upside and laying it off as a hedge against the inevitable downward turns, their skillset makes it nearly impossible for them to underperform. I've been utilizing a portfolio coach for more than two years, and I've made over $800,000.

A couple of good names from the small caps don't substaniate his reasoning, as the majority of Russel 2000 companies don't make money with anemic ROE. This recent sector rotation pertains to be a speculative move with no fundamental support, commonly seen in a late market cycle.

The size of a company or the fact that it has underperformed the market are not reasons to believe they will outperform in the future. Small size implies higher risk so you benefit from a risk factor but most of these companies that are small don't make money.

Small Cap will always be at a disadvantage because successful companies “graduate” out of small caps when they become successful. Eventually when a company like NVDA gets too big for small cap status it moves out and lands into S&P500 and stays there regardless of how big it becomes. Buy low cost S&P500 ETF and hold forever.

This rotation thing from tech to cyclicals or small cap is getting old. It’s only big fund managers driving tech down so they can get back in at lower prices. Happens EVERY year. They’ve already rotated back into tech…that’s where it’s at and I’ve outperformed the S&P for 20 years!!!!
