Genius idea to cut off the end of the standard converter to use it on the Gist. I am not happy with the converter that came with my Gist. I'll be doing a little surgery on a standard international converter this weekend!
Brass oxidizes uniquely, and the patina is unique to each pen based on the writer's body chemistry and use habits. That's considered by many to be the great property of brass. Like it or hate it, you'll drive yourself crazy keeping it polished.
Thanks for the vid Mike! Have to get me at least one brass FP. This may be the one! That 823 has reduced my cravings for new pens drastically though. It's definitely a collection killer.
It was just a interesting curiosity, probably impractical, because there would be nothing to stop the Lilliput from banging against the sides of the other two pens if it did fit. Thanks fro entertaining my madness.
Thanks, Mike, for yet another enlightening review. The Kaweco looks great. I have not delved too deeply into brass. Maybe now I will. And, gotta love me som anchovies on my pie. Peace✌️

+pastor slw Yeah, I like the patina, but I wanted to shine it up a little for the video. 👍🏼
Great review, covered all the points I wanted to see. Although does anyone have any ideas how many turns to uncap? Looked like 4, quite a few. Cheers!

+Jazmar That’s what I hear! Makes me a little afraid to get one. 😉
Can you get three pens int he Kaweco tin? (Two horizontally and a Lilliput in at an angle.)
I don’t think so, but that Lilliput is really small. Maybe it could be don’t with some creative alteration of the tin’s insert?

Posted this doesn't look any longer than a new yellow pencil. It looks about the same diameter too.
+Darold Booton I’ll compare it to a pencil when I get home. I think it might be similar.
Great review Mike!
Another great video! Thanks, Mike!
+Shawn S. Barker You’re welcome, Shawn!
Kaweco is soo superior design wise.

Thank you, Mike. Nice pen, nice ink. Pineapple does not belong in the pizza food-group.
+Anzan Hoshin Roshi I tolerate it, but I’d never order it myself.
@@inkdependence You people are wrong, wrong, wrong.
Amazon Germany sells it for 79,50 Euros (M nib). I wouldn't spend much more on this pen.
But I've already got 2 Kawecos (Al-Sport and Sport). ☺️

Very helpful! Thanks!
Nice
you ever end up giving that pen away? hahaha
Totally.
Let me win
add me to the drawing, thanks.
You need to follow the link in the description. The give away is being handled by Massdrop and I've no power to add anyone.
Oh no pineapples lol
Nice pen. Also sold by seitz-kreuznach on eBay & Amazon. Free shipping,
Ah. Weird that those didn't come up in my google searches. I also see Vanness has this pen in stock, so that's another source.
1st?
+DrPhilologist Congrats!
