@@emmasmith3823 After removing the wheel on the passenger side and reaching in to the bottom of the pulley, which I saw in this video I noticed that the belt was getting caught on a bolt head on the bottom of the engine in line with the bottom of the pulley which prevented the belt from pulling all the way up into the pulley making the belt seem like it was too short. After getting the belt completely into the lower pulley the belt seemed longer and I was able to work it onto the upper pulley with little trouble. Remove the passenger tire, place the tire under the frame for safety then remove the small plastic cover shield and you will be able to feel the bolt head that was preventing the belt from securing all the way up into the lower pulley. once the belt is properly seated into the lower pulley you can work the belt over the upper pulley wit your fingers with minimal resistance.
How can you take the belt off without removing the other one first. They are one the same pulley.
Hello, can you be more precise, I didn't understand your question.
Alex
What size engine are you doing this on the 3.5 or 4cyclinder
It is a 2.5 liters 4 cylinders.
What torque number is used 3:15
Hi. All the torque specs are in the video description. But for you, here it is : 32 Ft-lbs. Tell us if everything went fine.
All but impossible to get the belt around the last pulley. Seems like the belt is too short???
Did you compare the size of the new belt with the old one?
@@CarPartscomOfficial Yes, the old one just a slight bit larger but still about the same.
You ever get it? Having the same problem rn lol

@SalvatoreArmagno thank you for your reply!
why should replace serpentine belt tensioner too ?
the belt tensioner is also a wearing part, so we advise you to replace it
Why does he go clockwise after saying counterclockwise.
Editing mistake 😅
