- Be careful when replacing your wipers. When removing a wiper blade, the wiper arm will stay up as long as it is left undisturbed. But beware! In normal position, a powerful spring is there to hold it against the windshield. If the arm is touched, it might suddenly spring back onto the windshield without the wiper blade on and risks instantly breaking the windshield.
- To avoid any accidents, place the arm delicately onto the windshield. Before doing so, place a folded piece of paper towel on the windshield to protect it.

I have a 2003 Honda Accord the rubber parts of my high-pressure line blew last night from old age and I’m gonna replace that. And I was thinking about putting a filter on to the return line from the steering box. And just replaced the rubber hose since the metal ones fine. I’m disabled there’s only so much I can do, I’d love to replace everything. I’m gonna dump out as much steering fluid as I can. I wanted to confirm though that is the second hose up from the bottom of the power steering reservoir correct? I’m pretty sure that’s what you took off. Also thanks for being as mechanical for one step to another in the video it helps…. Lots. PS. Is there any reason why I couldn’t disconnect the return hose run the car and push out any of the bad fluid or that would be just as bad as the system blowing all the power steering fluid out all over the motor? Thanks a lot for making the video.
And then you get to the end of the video. Second from the top OK. Lol
I still don't get it! I'll need a highly detailed analysis quick.
What don't you understand?
Thank you Sir
Hi John-zz5gt , with pleasure, how did the change go? 😄
My 2017 Aurion should be some what similiar. The upper mounts are broken I'll repair end re install. Thx
Hi henrypoulsen3657! Keep us posted! ✌
Mine is 07 😕
Are you talking about the year your car was produced?
@@CarPartscomOfficial yeah. I need to replace my turn signal switch. The high beams won't turn off when I use the switch. They only turn off after I turn off the car
Thanks for the info. Video seems pretty desperate to advertise, how bout ya just stick to showing the work.

Ha, ball😂
as a mechanic i can say this was perfect. i do this probably 10-15 times a day on cars and its very simple but effective!:D
Love it!
Tie rods in the rear. Yea bro that isnt a gt3rs nice try tho
Great. Now just tell people if they have any kind truck/car with double wishbone or short and long arm suspension this method doesn’t work
My moms tire goes “wowowowowowowowowowowowowow” on the highway
Tie rods. Not tire rods.
Hey, uhh, last time i checked, the rear suspension components dont include tie rods. Or a steering rack for that matter
All the emergency brake shoes on one side in the rear? Or are they on both sides? I’m trying to plan ahead and order the correct quantity
There are on both sides
Good bro, but there is no tie rod in the back, keep up the good work
believe it or not, there are actually tie rods on the rear ands, usually if your rear end isn't a solid axle. most cars and modern suv's that don't have solid rear ends have them to keep the rear wheels straight
@@roninaviI think you’re mixing up tie rods and the crossmember and linkages that go across. Tie rods are for steering. Makes me wonder if the quadrasteers that GM made for a few years had tie rods in the rear though
these would be toe arm ends, same idea same balljoint with threaded rod connecting it from the cradle but technically not a "tie rod"
Valuable. Useless info.
What the hell is this useless video everything here is wrong like you said in it video
This needs to blow up, valuable information
We completely agree

What if you hear scraping turning steering wheel while in park? Could this be a dust shield?
steering wheels don't really like to be turned while stationary. that requires a lot of force to go though small parts that are meant for not a lot of force. as for the the sound, it could be the power steering pump, low power steering fluid, a leak, a worn belt. If the wheels aren't rotating when you hear the sound, it probably isn't brake related.
@@daveyjoseph6058 hey thanks for the reply. Found out that it lack of grease in the ball joint boot.
Your tie rods could be dry, same with the ball joints. If they have greese zerks, greese them. I had a bad hub and it made a scraping noise while turning. If it's 4x4 or front wheel drive, it could be the cv axel. Like that other guy said, check your fluid in the power steering and the belt. If it only makes the noise turning one way, I bet it's a wheel hub.
@@honestnewsnet glad to hear it. that was fast, dude. it takes me longer to diagnose my check engine light 😂
So why didn't you check the transmission fluid?
We haven't done it yet, but we're preparing a special video.
Excellent instructional video. Is there any reason to do both sides? It seems to only be an issue (a very noisy, had to be towed issue) on the drivers side.
If one side needs to be replaced it’s only a matter of time before you have a issue on the passenger side. If you change them both you are doing yourself a favor
exactly
You can replace just one side without any problem, but chances are the other side will need to be replaced within a few months.

Do you have a video on doing the passenger door, or motorized mirrors, if they are any different? Just not sure how the wiring is going to work for a motorized passenger side view mirror to get to the driver side door control.
The steps are the same, there will simply be an additional connection.
