What you have can be yours, but can never be you. You have a body, a mind, possessions , habits, etc. They are not you. Mentally set aside everything that you are not and what you are will be there. That which is/That I am, simply being aware of being aware. Letting this moment be as pleasant as possible. We are each as unique as our thumbprint. Snowflakes of Eternity.
We were taught, that we are the bodymind, and there didn' t seem to be any alternative. We were forced into believing this dogma! I think this to be the biggest obstacle to the nondual understanding!

Most seekers who are looking for truth, look towards outside sources like spiritual Chanellers who are supposed to channel information from spirit guides, masters, angels, ET's etc, instead of the true, divine Self.
Thank you, Alan. There is one big hindrance to the unveiled understanding of this teaching: the body. Being aware is then falsly reduced to feeling the body fromm the inside and one identifies easily with it. It's difficult to do the next step because of habit: to ackknowledge that the body is also in awareness!
Yes, I used the question "what knows this" with anything that is seemingly present. It became obvious that anything known can not change places with knowing.

Think......the "body" as just a bubble of air.....that is somehow affraid to burst into air itself.....an imaginary limit, that veils onenesss, freedom. When "it" burst open, it is still there everywhere and nowhere really, transparent...Best regards
Just thinking. In dream the character is created as a dreamer I and contents of the appearance. When you wake up you know it is a dream. Is it the same in waking stage when you wake up in awareness as awareness you know this is a dream also.
"I am the screen of awareness upon which the movie is playing " is it correct to say instead "I am the screen of awareness within which the movie is playing"? I find Rupert is pretty specific about his wording..but in the first example, I don't comprehend, the second example above I seem to comprehend more. I just don't know if I am correct in that interpretation. Can anyone help me better understand please? Thank you ❤
Awareness and the movie are one but paradoxically the movie is ever changing while awareness is eternally present. We could call the movie, the dynamic energy of awareness. We don't find awareness or the movie independently but we do find "them" simultaneously. They need "each other" so it becomes obvious that they are one. 🙏❣️

Awareness is a label for a non conceptual experience that cannot be described even by itself. Only awareness is aware. The five senses (made of awareness) are the dynamic energy of awareness and is the apparent world. Pure awareness doesn't know a world. There is only Awareness. If we go to the experience of being aware and become used to resting there we can discover this in direct experience. 🙏❣️
