definitely a CPU Cooler because that intel chip is going to run hot. if your case supports it, go with a 420mm AIO or custom water loop. another thing why get a sshd when you could get a nvme, (lots of choices) but honestly i don't know your usage scenario. Also, you mentioned that this is your first time building a PC and the parts you've chose are extreme overkill and expensive. (i am honestly still wondering what purpose you're getting this pc)
@srirajdellxps121 simply because it's a huge hobby of mine :)) thanks so much for taking the time to give me a response, fortunately I've completely my build as well as my setup now and have never been happier :)) ended up getting the Asus rog ryujin 3 for the cooler and it works like a treat, actually working in building a second PC now for my partner :))

Waiting till my cpu cooler and fans arrive to begin my build and this video got me buzzing knowing I own this case after grinding and saving. Great guide which I will certainly refer to during my build. Thank you sir, you earned a sub.
This is the best review of this case I’ve seen so far, and thanks so much for going over the software a bit. Very helpful! I’ve been really leaning towards this one, but the price has been making me waver. I’m a bit closer to pulling the trigger, now. 🖖😀
that's a huge case, I like how the AIO is hidden by the other 3 120mm fans.. that front panel switch and USBs though feels like in an awkward place, those switch should be on the top while the USBs are at the bottom.
No PSU at front of case is a no buy from me due to owning the aorus P1200 that has a front screen, ended up with purchasing the Asus rog hyperion gr701 after watching your video, first time i have moved away from Cooler master for over 30years!
Case looks great. Considering to start saving for a new pc next year (mainly due to new GPU's probably). Hope I can sell mine for a decent price still and maybe go a bit overboard on the new build. But yeh.... Watercooling loop... never done that before
Good clean video production - first time I saw your channel! Just got this case and started building it yesterday, with 5950X, X570 Hero VIII, EK Elite 360 cooler, Gigabyte 4080 Gaming OC. It looks great and love the tool-less features, but still having problems... Things I found with this case: 1. Big bundle of cables with absolutely ZERO instructions of what exactly they are and where they plug into. 2. Manual way too small to see detail - should be printed at A4 size to see tiny details properly, not at A5 size. 3. Vertical GPU holder is a bit of a fail 4. More control software! I already had working RGB and fans set up using ASUS AI Suite, but that does not work with these new case fans/LEDs and the new Coolermaster software doesn't seem to be able to control the fans/LEDs of the EK fan hub either! Like two separate systems now. 5. Some new software with this appears to now be polling my four 10TB drives now every few seconds causing horrible (and drive wearing) head movement clicking noises. Should not be polling drives continuously - they normally go to sleep state after a few seconds. Questions for you: 1. Where did you plug in the second big USB plug from case? There is only one connector of this size on my Hero VIII motherboard, and I have noticed that half the front panel USB3 connectors do not work now without that plugged in. There was also another strange little connector which I have never seen before and no idea where it goes and ZERO information in manual about it again. 2. I tried to use the vertical holder and it is NOT good. The ribbon cable is WAY too tight against case and feels like it is breaking the PCI-E on motherboard. My 4080 does not go on nice at all... it is straining against the push from the ribbon cable and now bent at a horrible angle - not possible to get it to sit straight at all, the back holder is straining to push against the push from squeezed ribbon cable - just a very bad design overall. I'm going to have to get rid of it and go back to horizontal mounting, which sucks big time... this was major feature of the big space available. 3. My case fans are now all blowing at 100% and I don't see anywhere in control software to decrease and control them. Hope to get these issues sorted and do more work on it this evening
@@ChristopherFlannigan - Will the Cool Master software allow you to independently control the RPM/Speed of each fan? Or do all the fans function under the same curve?

I'm hoping to see fan tests in this case. I believe HAF 700 The BERSERKER!!! (emphasis mine) would behave very similarly to this case, making it twice as interesting. I'm currently using Enthoo Pro 2 and the bottom 120mm fans actually helped my GPU temps, despite running at fixed low RPM (like, 30% low, Arctic P12, close to 1000 rpm they get really annoying hum). What I'm hoping to see in this case (or 700 non-evo) is whether placing 3x140mm fans on the bottom would help a lot with temps. And I'd love to see comparison "AIO inside the case" versus "external liquid cooling outside the case" (like MORA3 or something similar, with 200mm fans for minimizing noise). I believe moving CPU cooling outside the case entirely should improve both CPU and GPU thermals, as well as noise (since both will get cold air at all times). I believe even 4090 (considering the giant air coolers) can be practically silent even in a relatively small case (relative to HAF 700) if cooled with multiple fans and not affected by CPU temps, while CPU can be cool and quiet if it has enough radiator area outside the case. Combined result should be cool and quiet for both components. The reason I'm not trying to watercool a 4090 is not because air does a fantastic job, considering the sheer size of the monstrosity (in a good sense), but because of warranty issues. Removing the cooler is instant warranty void for me. On a VERY expensive GPU. So I want to avoid it if at all possible.

Thanks for the review nice job. I have already got this case :) and now looking at a new build to put in it. getting parts in bits as I save up. I have 1 question though about the front panel connectors. as in how many of them and can you plug them all into the Strix x670e board? as in all the front USB's and the display many thanks as this has got me worried to which motherboard to get the fact that the Strix is one i was looking at is great. I was looking at getting 2 x 360 rads for the top and one 360 for the side leaving the front open and 3 120 fans for the bottom for intake. to cool both graphics and CPU :)
Hey, the case is specified to support 200mm long power supplies, a 210mm long one would work just fine right? I mean, i cant see why it wouldnt beyond that the cables might have 10mm less range of motion behind it, but just to make sure, thanks in advance!
so i saw you are using the lian li unifan does the coolermaster software control the argb for those fans or did you have to still use L-connect from lian li?

10:37 Is that top drive bracket missing a rubber grommet (upper right corner) for any particular reason? Like, is it supposed to be that way, or is it just missing? (If it's the latter, that's not a good way to ship such an expensive PC case. 😲)
@@ChristopherFlannigan Oh! That makes sense. I just watched one of Tom Logan's videos where he compared the HAF700 EVO to the HAF700 Berserker (which I'd never seen before), and they're a LOT alike. Confused about why you would use white fans and white cables in a black case? This system is really designed for water cooling, air cooling just seems like a waste to me glad you went liquid cool. Nice vid
It’s a case for a $8-10k pc build. This guy only used one radiator when you supposed to have at least 3 and a reservoir or 2. I do plan to buy this case In my next build.
im sorry but for almost 500dollar i dont want to see any plastics or cheap metal panels on a chassis. i want to see thick alluminium and glass inside and out on all sides! (including drive bays and motherboard tray)
Update on this: Looks great, but is seriously pissing me off right now - lots of serious problems with it. 1. The front LCD panel ONLY works if you run some Cooler-master software which runs continuously in the background as a system service - CoolerMaster MasterPlus Technology Service - but of course this garbage software continuously polls ALL hardware it seems and this causes it to poll all drives in machine, so my four 10TB storage drives can NEVER GO TO SLEEP, and instead make continuous not normal head movement clicking sounds as this software keeps moving the heads every second with special low level commands for information. When I kill the service I am back to silent drives and working machine, but now the front LCD just has a static spinning picture of incorrect CPU or whatever happened to be displayed as service was killed. Leaving this low level hardware polling going would have killed the expensive drives very quickly. Also when I put machine to sleep at night the LCD stays ON and showing same image. 2. The front USB panel does not work as advertised. At back of case is a bundle of cables from front of case, and it includes TWO 19-pin USB3.1 connectors with two cables going into each of them. My standard enthusiast X57 Hero VIII motherboard only has ONE 19-pin USB connector, so could only plug one cable in, so that means only two of the four front USB ports is actually working. I had no choice but to search on Amazon to buy some 19-pin splitter cable and just got it today - www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B09KY2ZYVC/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 , and tried using it to connect the two 19-pin cables - it doesn't work, Windows gives the device connected sound but then says "USB device malfunctioned" when I try and connect my iPhone XS to PC. This works when only one original case cable is plugged into motherboard. COOLER-MASTER FOR OVER 700 EURO FOR A CASE YOU SHOULD SUPPLY A WORKING TWO TO ONE 19-PIN MOTHERBOARD CABLE SO I DON'T HAVE TO TRY AND DO IT MYSELF AND STILL NOT WORK!! Nowhere does it say you need 2 x USB 3.0 19-pin header - for 4 x USB 3.0 Type-A ports at the front of the case 3. Tried to turn off PC using front panel power button because a GPU over clock hung display - COULD NOT DO THIS. In order to turn off you seem to have to hold power button in - then PC goes off, then IMMEDIATELY COMES ON AGAIN!!! Can't turn it off, without it coming on again!! Only way was to wait for Windows to load, and then shut down from there instead. 4. The "vertical GPU holder" is rubbish - ribbon is TOO LONG, TIGHT and STRAINED - no way to install my new Gigabyte Gaming 4080 so it is straight and level - it is now strained at an off angle (about 20 degrees) to the motherboard (because the too long ribbon cable is pushing it out under severe pressure while the back clamping mechanism is pulling it in the opposite way) - it looks absolutely terrible and can't be good for the two PCI-E connectors, which are being bent by the pressure from ribbon cable. Now I think I have to go back and remove the vertical holder and put GPU in normally which is a joke! 5. Horrible resonance in the included main HD case. I have four drives installed in this and when they are on and spinning (not sleeping) there is horrible noise coming from resonant vibration from drives through cage and into main frame. It is not constant either, keeps changing tone/frequencies of noise - sounds like a hairdressers shaver going all the time! Cage should have been insulated or dampened better to prevent vibration resonance amplifying through entire metal of case. 6. Now I also noticed that Acronis Drive Monitor which monitors parameters of hard drives using firmware SMART functionality is giving me warnings about drive over safe temperature limits!! "Disk temperature: 43 °C. Temperature of the disk is above the warning level at 42 °C. Overheating can reduce the disk life span or cause a disk failure. Check that the drive has sufficient air circulation and the computer has proper cooling." And this is happening WITHOUT THE BACK COVER EVEN BEING ON AT ALL. I'm sure if I actually put on the back cover the temperature would rise even more. I knew this would happen, when they moved a 4 drive cage to back of case with absolutely no active fan cooling over drives. I previously used HAF 932 for years with same drives and in that, the drives were at most 25C ever, since in that design, the drive cage was in direct flow of front case fans. Only time I ever got warning about temperature from Acronis in that case was one time I forgot to plug in front case fans after cleaning. Absolutely terrible impressions of this new case. For the price of this case I should not be having these sorts of crazy problems with the case/software to run it.
lcd display need this crap software to run. Custom setup for every single custom led dind't remember settings after restart/hibernate and set up so weird mode. I'm super dissapointed because for huge amount of money we got crap software and we can't controll lcd in other way. btw. even lcd effect and setting didn't work without program in backgroung and you need open and set it again if you hibernate your PC. Nice case, sh1tty soft and overpriced.
@@ChristopherFlannigan I'm thinking of putting the mirror on the bottom, my 280 corsair radiator on where the mirror was. + the two included 120's in the back. And then probably fill out the top with fans. Either 140s or 120s. Should I be good airflow wise? And even better, do you think will I be able to mount my 4090 vertically in there without screwing over the airflow too hard haha. Amazing video btw! I have 1 question though about the front panel connectors. as in how many of them and can you plug them all into the Strix x670e board? as in all the front USB's and the display
many thanks as this has got me worried to which motherboard to get the fact that the Strix is one i was looking at is great.
I mean, i cant see why it wouldnt beyond that the cables might have 10mm less range of motion behind it, but just to make sure, thanks in advance!
can the HAF 700 EVO entire frontpanel with the rgb nd lcd, be used on a Haf 700 case ?
So question. I have this case I have two jsub3 cords. What’s up with that?
yes but can it HANDLE 4090
Don't see why note
so i saw you are using the lian li unifan does the coolermaster software control the argb for those fans or did you have to still use L-connect from lian li?
Piękna mam Bika 802 Black zastanawiam się nad zmianą na tą obudowę pozdrawiam
I need this case in white
How many fans excluding the water cooler did you install in this mate?
I want to ask u
This case it's good for cable management?
how much fan installed in it....?
can you tell mee...?
Hey! does anyone know the exact dimensions of the Top bracket in the HAF 700 case ? I'm looking to install two Lian Li Galahad II Trinity Performance 360 mm AIO's and i know theyre a little wider than regular 360's.
I need the exact dimensions please.
Hi Chris, just one question, Do you think this case will be able to fit the new Nvidia 4090 Gpu`s from third party vendors with their cables attached and still be able to get the glass panel back on.?
Im sure it will. It's huge as Sh_t
If you can't in this case there is no hope for the rest
@@ChristopherFlannigan Its just a part that no one is showing this and if you cant get the card in, well thats more money for new cases as well as a psu 3.0. Anyway great straight to the point video`s btw, Im from Omagh by the way
@@Nite-Lite-Gamers just did it for a friend, it looks awful with the 4090 on it. Holds it well, no sag. But my God that special lead for it does not want to look nice in the case haha
what you fail to mention...and it is the same for all other channels that review this case is that you need a motherboard with 2 usb 3 front panel connectors....other then that good review
Im 3 months late, but why is my ARGB hub not in my Master+ software? LCD screen works fine, but no RGB from fans or front panels
If you find any information about the fan controller or hub let me know. It's complicated with 2 different devices you need to configure.
can someone confirm the many problems I heard with the Vertical GPU holder kit V2 (CM already sells an improved V3 kit but includes the old kit with this case)? And there seem to be problems with the software running in the background, frequently crashing and also constantly getting info on harddrives etc - I heard that the software constantly creates annoying HDD clicks be gathering info several times per minute etc. Any thoughts? Thanks!
10:37 Is that top drive bracket missing a rubber grommet (upper right corner) for any particular reason? Like, is it supposed to be that way, or is it just missing? (If it's the latter, that's not a good way to ship such an expensive PC case. 😲)
It wasn't a new case and had been used by many TH-camrs around the UK before me. I asked to keep it so I got it last so there was a few bits missing.
@@ChristopherFlannigan Oh! That makes sense. I just watched one of Tom Logan's videos where he compared the HAF700 EVO to the HAF700 Berserker (which I'd never seen before), and they're a LOT alike. Both of them are way too big for my needs, but they (as you mentioned) look to be 'tailor-made' for a nice custom loop build. 💡
türkiyeden selamlar senden bi isteğim olucak bu kasaya 15 adet Cooler Master Masterfan Sickleflow 120MM Argb Ledli bağladım sorun sebebi ise fanların rengi ayrı ayrı oluyor ikincisi ise fanların hızı çok farklı hiç biri biriyle aynı hızda dönmüyor......anakrtımda sadece iki adet argb girişi var fan girişide 4 adet var senin videoda bütün fanlar aynı renkte yanıyor...yardım edersen sevinirim
I’m so disappointed that the display of my 1000 W ASUS ROG Thor 1000P2 Gaming won’t be able to show in this case.
As far as I can tell, that's just a mirror, not an infinity mirror.
That's what cooler master call it
@@ChristopherFlannigan Oh ok. I tried to see on the page for the case, and also see if there were any lights to turn on for the reflection that infinity mirrors have, so I saw none, that's why I wrote that.
my best is cosmos 2
$600 for Pc Case is loco ...I can buy PS5 AND 2 GAMES..HDD in back get hot no air flow ?
Can anyone guide me on how to position the fans. Top fans would be intake or exhaust? Same for the bottom one and back lol thanks
Top and back would be exhaust.
Front and bottom intake.
Side I wouldn't bother
unfortunately I can not afford such a beautiful thing
Confused about why you would use white fans and white cables in a black case? This system is really designed for water cooling, air cooling just seems like a waste to me glad you went liquid cool. Nice vid
you forgot to mention the price tag haha
Covered it right at the start - couldn't leave that out
Didn't even show where rest of the cables connect to
It sure is a cool case and all, but man that $650 price is tag is hard to stomach. Is Cooler Master imitating Nvidia's price strategy or something.
It’s a case for a $8-10k pc build. This guy only used one radiator when you supposed to have at least 3 and a reservoir or 2. I do plan to buy this case In my next build.
this case is over price
im sorry but for almost 500dollar i dont want to see any plastics or cheap metal panels on a chassis. i want to see thick alluminium and glass inside and out on all sides! (including drive bays and motherboard tray)
I'm very happy with materials and build quality is very high, but everyone has their own ideas about the ideal case
Unrealistic expectation, that would be a 1000k case
Why do you sound like Jim Browning lol
Update on this:
Looks great, but is seriously pissing me off right now - lots of serious problems with it.
Nowhere does it say you need 2 x USB 3.0 19-pin header - for 4 x USB 3.0 Type-A ports at the front of the case
Check that the drive has sufficient air circulation and the computer has proper cooling."
And this is happening WITHOUT THE BACK COVER EVEN BEING ON AT ALL.
Moving the mirror to the bottom, would that be super bad for airflow?
With so much coming from front and side it should be ok
@@ChristopherFlannigan I'm thinking of putting the mirror on the bottom, my 280 corsair radiator on where the mirror was.
+ the two included 120's in the back. And then probably fill out the top with fans. Either 140s or 120s. Should I be good airflow wise?
And even better, do you think will I be able to mount my 4090 vertically in there without screwing over the airflow too hard haha.
Amazing video btw! You actually made me decide to get the case, seems to be such an amazing case, even if a bit overkill
This is huge!🦾
Sure is
I think it's too much. But then again im not a huge fan of RGB cases which shines like a lightpole.
I like it in white
