    I am so happy you did this topic. The Sea of Fallen Stars has always been my favorite backdrop for an adventures to run. Thanks!

    In reality, pirates weren't interested in killing you so much as taking your stuff.

      in the forgotten realms most pirates worship umberlee, she tends to like it when sentient beings are drowned in her name so...

    Yes, I've been talking with my players and after the campaign we are doing, we agreed on a pirate theme, and the sea of fallen stars was perfect now I have this video and a new book to check out!

    Good video! My group's game is actually based around the Sea of Fallen Stars in the town known as New Sharshel. Cool to know a little more about the Sea itself!

    Can you do a video on Aglerond? I am making it a central point in my later campaign and am having a little trouble with lore.

    Good work, just one minor thing: the First Sundering refers to the creation of Evermeet, even though the Tearfall should technically be the First Sundering.

      I noticed this as well. I've been DMing for a little over a year now (mainly the Lost Mine of Phandelver campaign with some homebrewed stuff following it), so I am relatively knew to all of the lore of The Forgotten Realms. I'm confused, it seems like "The Tearfall" and "The First Sundering" are completely separate events separated by thousands of years. Is there anywhere you know of a source to find more clarity on this?

    Love this region. Does anyone know if there is a 5e map of the area? I can only find 3e and 3.5e maps, and want to use the Sea of Fallen Stars in my 5e campaign.

    • @joec9693
      @joec9693 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Official books from WotC has focused almost entirely on the Sword Coast region, however some fan made content can be found on dmsguild set in the Sea of Fallen Stars for 5e or the cities around it like Cormyr.

    And you're thinking of PRIVATEERS, as pirates who are government employes.

      We're both right :)

      I am! But Dooblydoo is used by lots of TH-camrs. It was started by Wheezy Waiter.
