Nice video.. It's a shame the way Frederick Street is now. I've heard stories that it was going to get a complete re-vamp as a shopping street, but also heard that it was going to become residential properties! Either way they need to do something about it now! :-)
The photo at 1 minute of Frederick street in 1951 is actually 1959. As the photo shows my wife as a young child in the bottom left of the picture crossing the road with her mother with the double buggy.
