I mulched this year and wish I never did too much smothering the air and roots .. I’d bag and mulch only a few times a year. I bought liquid mulch eater and it worked pretty good then added Scott’s healthy lawn and fungus it worked in 24 hours it’s great stuff..
Although you mentioned natural fertilizers, including homemade compost, I am surprised that you did not mention compost tea, which is an easy way to keep your lawn healthy and green.
Hi.I saw 2 points here that I have a question about. One said to remove the cut grass and the other said to leave it to help the soil. Can you explain? Thank you
Basically remove large clumps from sitting on your lawn killing the grass below. If you mow frequently enough the small clippings will fall at the base of your lawn. If you mow infrequently when your lawn is say four inches long and you try to mow two inches at once (especially when wet) your mower will leave huge clumps on your lawn and if you don't try to pick it up or spread it out the grass underneath will die.
Lawns or grass shouldn't be cut at all. It has a natural length. Keep it that way for a truly healthy lawn. Cutting grass or your lawn is a waste of resources. Don't do it. In fact, get rid of your lawn and get something else. Rock, cement, brick, stone ... whatever. Something that doesn't need water. We're trying to save the planet people.
Lawns or grass isn't for peasants anyway it's for kings and queens only we are peasants we should be growing fruits and vegetables in our yards not lawns

Informative❤
Mow high! To keep weeds out! And also moving higher keeps the grass from burning during the sumner! And most importantly mulch! It’s free fertilizer!!
Yes true but the grass clippings make extra thatch which robs the nutrients from reaching soil.
Grass clippings put nutrients back into the soil.@@Lordknowsit

Thanks so much.. great info
Great information regarding how o keep lawn green.
While mowing mulching is better than bagging ??
Wont grass clippings leave thatch
That's why they have a time to dethatch your lawn to remove the thatch if the thatch is greater than half an inch
2.8k+... Thanks
Pour concrete and paint it green.
