These pens are good but #Kurt I'm afraid because the door of your breeding cage is very big so when you open the door there is to much room to escape of your breeding pigeons
Just be careful with the heat hitting the back of the boxes, as you live in a very hot climate over there in WA, could cause some trouble and also burn the babies if they lean against it, Also be sure to lift the boxes off the ground to have airflow underneath and around the boxes as it will get very hot in the bottom box if no wind can pass through and around
Excellent! Well done before moving out, getting maximum rounds from good choice birds & pair them up rightly. Will increase your flock. Right idea & decision.
Alright finished watching the video lol. Maney if you don't mind me asking, what's the name of the white wood you're making these boxes from? I've never done any woodworking but just watching you makes me want to get into, so exciting!
Work well, brother. Make beautiful hatchery boxes or shelves that only one thing is missing, which is dyeing each cell in a specific color in order to give more aesthetics, for example, the yellow color for the first box and the green color for the second box
Maney Lofts Yes, of course, it helps them a lot and also makes them eager to hatch continuously, in addition to that the chicks will preserve their place by distinguishing the color for years, and I follow this method, especially the yellow verning color is attracted to it I wish you success, dear brother
I don’t understand the rush tbh. So many temporary measures and breeding set ups. You are breeding birds where they won’t be living. You now have 3 different cages, birds living in hampers with no exercise . Birds left right and centre, some here, some there. Hope you don’t lose any, but I suspect you will. Wouldn’t it have made sense to move out there to a new completed loft and then set up breeding? You will have young birds everywhere stuck in temporary lofts, getting zero exercise. Feel you’re rushing to appease your TH-cam followers and not doing right by the pigeons.
Marking my presence before watching the video, never clicked so fast as well!
You're the best!
You did very well, Bravo 👍🧿👍
Thanks 👍
You are best
Very nice dear friend 👌👌👌🕊🕊🕊

Top video as always Kurt take care from blackpool England 🇬🇧
Great
Hey Maney what do you think would be the appropriate dimensions for a loft to be for 30 to 40 birds
Hope you breed so crackers of your mealy hen can't wait to see her babies.
Name ideas for the red hen: Lava, Ginger Ninja, Chili or Fury
Put a. Block in each one. They'll use it bigtime.
You did the greatest job building that 👍🏻

do you think that helps the birds know the boxes?

These nesting boxes are not practical. The pigeons will shut the flaps when they approach the nest boxes.
Mandy please put red hen with leo.
You have inspired me to get back in the racing game after 30 plus years! Thank you.
BTW, I'm from Trinidad (where Brian Lara is from, the world record holder for most runs in a test match).
Silver is a different colour to mealy but the bird in the video is a mealy.
