I get alot of questions in the comments about my pigeons and how easy they seem to pair up and breed. if you have the few basic requirements right for pigeons then you also will have no issues in breeding happy healthy pigeons.
They will breed so well you will be over run by pigeons in the near future and you will think you have started a pigeon farming business!
Feel free to drop some comments below if you have other hints and tips! This is a basic run down of the things i do for my birds & its not in depth racing just for pigeons in general!

I provided mine with nice nest bowls but they decided to nest in an ice cream container that I keep my grit in 😂

Everyone has a selective way of doing things ... Just listening on your way of feeding, watering and cleaning ... and adding supplements ... certainly differ from your style ... it takes pre prepping before you breed or race ... to be in good health ... 😳 most products I'd purchase form Vita King, Versa-laga and Siegel's ...
Be careful keeping them on a mesh floor, one of the best birds I’ve ever had will never be the same because he got his foot stuck in it and broke it. He can’t even roost properly now.
Hi can I just ask a quick question I have two mealies that are breeding does that mean my baby's will be mealies all the time. Thanks and your videos are great.
I feed chicken layers pellets with grit to my breeders and never have to deal with any of those powders or supplements
I just started breeding, I've already got my pair to breed 2 rounds already. How many times can they keep having them breed? The pair are prisoners can I just have them breed all year round?

Manny Why my birds take like 3 months to lay eggs? Any ideas? They get fresh water and food. Their loft gets clean. I had a white hen just like yours. Your white hen layed eggs for first time within 15 days. My white hen for first time laying eggs took like 3 months
is she new to the loft, maybe it took her longer to settle?
@@ManeyPigeons yes she was new. Sadly when she was fly with my other bird around the house they went somewhere far and white hen did not come back but other one did come back
Bro my baby pigeons 1 or 2 month old don't drink water they just started eating feed but don't drink water. And also my all baby pigeons die at age of 1 month or 2 month. They start eating but not drinking

@Dr Bloops basically he’s in it for the money pigeon races are known for being cruel towards the birds they’ll trap over 5000 birds in these enclosures where pigeons tend to get sick from all the droppings accumulated pigeons that aren’t ready for race day get there head twisted off. Search up pigeon racing peta you’ll learn more about this danger.

I feel like this is too much unless you have like show pigeons or something. I plan to breed meat pigeons though. It seems like they'd be fine on just seed or pellets, especially coming from the fact that they literally eat trash and are EVERYWHERE in NYC or beach areas.
my birds don't like milo and peas. Which is most of their food.
It is annoying when they are fussy, mine hate barely so i had to take it out of the mix also if there is to much corn they also leave it

You should be feeding them in the nest box about four or five times a day in a small pot let's the young birds see the parents picking the seed up
