Just a tip. Get a couple of saw horses and a sheet of plywood for a working surface, save your back and knees.
Thanks
Came out great. Make do with what you have in life. Spending time with your children is priceless. Love your videos
Thank you very much 👍
Hi hello very nice bird boxes thanks you for sharing your videos
Thanks 👍
Great job building these beautiful Nest Boxes..... You saved a ton of money just by doing- it - Yourself too.....!!!!! Excellent Team Work as well...👌
Thanks!!
Awesome fun hobby. Only 1 thing u missing... where u stable the floor grates to the wooden bars that supports up the grated gate, u need an extra 1/4 inch thick x 2 inch wide to nail over that so u can scape. If not, the poop stuck in the support wooden bars n grated floor n u cant clean it out. Cover to top of the gated medal wire floor n where support wood beams are. I dont think u understand what im talking bout, cuz i currently baked n tipsy 😂😅
Good job man! The boxes look great. I am glad you put your kids to work because at the end of the day. It increases the bond you have them. All kids really need is some love. Take care
Thanks 👍
Its awesome looks great pigeon case. You should add top roof light cut out roof just use sunlight energy that saves your $$$.
Winter time pigeons need light inorder to breed, if they dont have a light bulb on, they’ll not lay eggs when u want them to.
Great job, you should be proud of you and the family, cheers Jim
Thanks 👍 and yes i am thankful for the kids help whenever they’re around. We can only try, but our skills are not good at all. 🤣🤷♂️
Excelente trabajo 👍👍👍
Thanks
The doors with the wooden sticks like cool but functionally is the same as if you had just made doors with the metal wire that you had, or even chicken wire if you want to go cheaper on some parts of the build
Even if everything is not straight and 90° but I love it more that the kids helped, and that makes it more valuable than anything else
Thanks, yeah. We’re not professional carpenters but it is good to slowly learn as we grow older into this hobby. Thanks
good stuff bro! Something I do for the grating or fencing is staple it on. A lot quicker than nailing and also pretty strong. Hoping to see more videos soon.
Thanks! 👍
looks great 👍
Thanks 👍
Good idea I will do it the same ASAP! I like the design 😊
👍
Nice 👍🏼
Thanks 👍
Nice team work
Thanks 👍
That looks awesome my friend, great job! 👍
Thanks, it’s simple and works, i just wished our carpentry skills was as good as yours though, lol. 👍
Looking good. Idea for you if you put same kind of Board underneath it that you plan on scraping on this way you can just pull it out than scrap that board you would not have to reach under them.
Yeah, the kids and wife suggested i build pull out trays, but maybe later. I’ve had enough of smelling saw dust for a few days now and a wounded finger needs healing first lol 😂
@@xiongguysloft9560 I understand. I love building things
@@burakloft568 yes i have a passion for building also, just don’t have the space or tools to make all edges and cuts nice and perfect. Working with a small budget isn’t always easy. But as long as what we build is functional, then we’re happy 🤷♂️👍. Good luck to your future builds
@@xiongguysloft9560 well the birds don’t care if.
Not Perfect cuts. You did a good job. So keep up the good work buddy
@@burakloft568 thanks, same to you 👍
Hurray for the kids help! Good job!😃
Thanks 👍
Amazing project completing the nest boxes you made them professional and you have verry helpful kids.
Thanks 👍
Nice training box for pigeon
Thanks
great work beautiful nesting box new friends here in phil's happy flying
Thanks 👍
Great job,good luck my Freind
Thanks 👍
Good job just finished building one for a friend today
Cool 👍👍
Good job , they look pretty nice.
Thanks 👍
Man thats really nice ! Great job!
Thanks 👍
They came out great brother and I love your idea for breeding by closing off the section and letting them out. As far as carpentry goes I think we all make Lil mistakes 😆. Great job and can’t wait to see how breeding goes for ya.
lol yeah our carpentry skills level sucks. But yeah can’t wait to see how breeding goes, 👍
Great Job!
Thanks 👍
Thank you for sharing. Greetings from Scandinavia.
Thanks 👍
Great video
Thanks
Very nice job 👍
Thanks
Bruh, where do u order them grated gate medal fence stuff??
Looks great but I would have added a perch or platform so they aren't always standing on the wires.
I do add a perch. And did. 👍
Need to be careful with the baby bird's when they get off the bowls and try to walk around and there feet goes through the netting they might snap a leg. The netting is a little too big for the baby's when they start getting out of the nest.
Yeah, that’s crossed my mind, i will have some flat boards in there to help them when they become of age, thanks 👍
Very nice work!
Thanks 👍
Thank you for sharing. It would have been beneficial and cheap, to add sheets of plastic to the sides and back of the breeding cages, stapled to the wood, that way the pigeon manure would not stick to the walls of your pigeon loft.
For the shelves next time, explore the idea of using pvc pipe for the shelf frame, and attaching the mesh to the pvc frame using zip-ties, and making the shelves removable, that way you can remove them whenever and pressure wash them and beuse it's pvc and not wood, it will never rot or grow too much bacteria or smell. To support the pvc shelf inside the cage frame, you can use screws sticking out about one inch, to allow the pvc shelf to rest on those screws.
You can also use an aluminum angle iron in L shape, and cut 2 inch sections of it and screw it to the cage frame inside, to support the removable shelves. The idea is to either use screws, or some sort of metal, that way it will not absorb moisture and will be rigid, and capable of holding the weight of the shelves, pigeons, feeder and waterer.
Good video uncle lucky!👍
Thanks Kai!! Thanks for tuning in, i hope you missed helping us cleaning out the loft ever since we moved away, those were good ole times. Jk lol. Anyways Merry Christmas!🎁🎄
@@xiongguysloft9560 lol merry Christmas to you too miss u Guys😁
Good job Man
Thanks
Nice man
Thanks
You should make trays under tham cages.. easy and simple just pull out..
Yes we could but we kept it simple
Good work 👏 💪
Thanks
Clamp/bolt a fence at the back look nice to .?
Maybe
Whar is the measurement for each nest
Nice boxes . I would have gone with up and over fronts . No hinges required . But still nice 👍
Thanks, We built the boxes like this to help prevent breeders escaping when feeding, as some breeders are acquired from other fanciers, and are very wild birds and will fly around like crazy.
@@xiongguysloft9560 👍 good luck for 2021....
Beautiful and amazing boxes buddy
Thanks 👍
Not having all the tools you need is definitely a must, I'm in the same category buddy
@@chrismunro4385 if i had all the tools i needed, the measurements, cuts, and creativity would be more perfect and neater, but for now it’s what we’ll work with lol 😂
Netting holes are just a little too big it looks like
Yeah they might be just a bit big for baby pigeons, but we’ll be there to keep an eye on them when they start to walk 👍
nice job!! would you mind telling me the dimensions of the nest boxes? I'm interested in building something similar!
I’m building bigger boxes, these were a bit too narrow for my liking. i think these are around 11-14” deep, 21” wide, 12” tall.
Nice job Bro.........ALL the best and stay safe.... from Australia. :-))
Thanks 👍
🕊🕊👍
👍✌️
👍🇵🇱
👍
Lift them boxes rite up to the roof make trays to slide under shit in a tray
👍
Thanks 👍
just move the stud over utill the door will open lot easier
The stud is built in place to hold the building so we rather not move it, rather just switch the doors around much easier
Like from Russia 👍👍👍🇷🇺super
Thanks 👍👍
Hey , what’s the height and length of each compartment ?
I forgot exact measurements but they’re around 12” tall, 12”-14” deep, and 22” wide on each section. Somewhere around that.
Hey I was wondering what are the measurements for the base
2ft wide, 12” tall, 15” deep.
Looking good bro what are the dimensions
Small boxes just for pairing and breeding. 2ft length, 15” deep, 12” tall.
can you please let me know where can i buy pigeons
Scroll to all the loft visiting videos. There’s several people selling homers and all kinds of pigeons
I couldn’t hear what you got from Walmart ?
I bought the drill that i’m using to drill the dowels. Dowels are the round sticks i made for the doors.
Good jobs just move the 2by4 out of the way, pigeon is a hard thing for my kids so i just teach them all sorts of music instead.
No i can’t move the 2x4, the roof is too heavy and needs all the brace support, but yeah pigeons are only for some people, Some kids don’t like pigeons or animals much, to them it’s nog the cool thing, they’re more into expensive ear pods lmao
