Lol. People quickly forget that when Madrid had Ronaldo-Benzema-Bale or BBC, they all preferred coming in from the left but Bale had to adapt to the right and Benzema combined better with Ronaldo whenever they were both on the left.
@@QuotidianStupidity Bale started as a LB and performed more naturally on that flank... He was a more traditional winger who was more suited to run and make crosses more than cutting in and shooting like the modern wingers. His pace, limited ability to dribble or spring up suprises and willingness to cross made it clear.
I question Real Madrid's creativity from Midfield. Kroos and Modric were the deadliest pivot for much of a decade. At times it felt like a having a 10 was unnecessary due to the 2 being able to do dogwork and cunduct the midfield. I'm curious how will their midfield do without them
Jude is the answer for the pivot, creative, big, athletic, good on the ball. Eventually he will move down the field in his career, because arda is coming for the am spot.
If you saw RM in the knockout phases of last UCL you could see how Rodrygo and Vini interchange positions on the pitch. Rodrygo was often on the left side while Vini exploited his speed through the middle. I expect the same to happen with Mbappe.
Be cool if you did a video on proposed rules changed to football to 'improve' the game. Ideas: 1) Penalties for Penalty shootouts being converted to 'half way line' runs - been tried before, why didn't it work? 2) Bigger goals? For more goals? 3) More subs (been done now!) Five subs per game! 4) Offside change! What Wenger is proposing - makes it much easier for attackers. 5) Mid half breaks of 1-2 minutes, like we had in the pandemic. This was actually really food I thought. Makes the games even longer though 6) Stopping the clock for when the ball is out of play. This is another great one, but will extend the game a lot overall I think, even if you lessen the game time clock appropriately. 7) 'Sinbins' - again another great idea, but it will cause a huge amount of tactical changes. 8) Changes to the Penalty run up rule to help the keeper? Just some vid ideas guys!
I can see Vini jr, and Mbappe play really good together. They both play left winger and striker. When oke drifts wide the other attack centraly. And they keep changing position during the match
The big question is not whether he fits Real's playstyle but rather if he can play with Vinicius Jr. They clearly want to play in a very similar position. Ancelotti spend half of last season testing Vinicius more centrally or even slightly to right with Rodrygo open to the left. He did better than I thought, but still, it doesn't feel natural.
If Cortegana o Guillermin could opinate, maybe they would correct the initial 11, Modric is currently Valverde's backup, Tchouameni is the defensive midfielder starter, Camavinga is his replacement.
Right now Vinicius always has at least 2 playerd on him when he attacks with Mbappe Vini will be a lot freer because he will onky be guarded by one player and if not mbappe will. They are both unpredictable and very talented players they can switch places and cause chaos for the defence their combination will be one of the most dangerous ever
It's such weird timing because you can argue 2-3 seasons ago Real Madrid needed him, but now not really. They should of saved money and just kept Joselu. Joselu for a loanee player, was a difference maker like a Luuk DeJong or a Cristiano Ronaldo. Joselu played with heart for Real Madrid. I'm not trying to diminish mbappe but the squad won the champions league without him recently twice. Unbelievable that they still wanted him with the team they have.
In 2002, Real Madrid, dubbed the "Galacticos" by the press, aimed to build a team of superstars. After winning their first UCL in 32 years in 1998 and again in 2000, they focused on signing top players. This included Luis Figo (Ballon d'Or 2000) and Zidane (Ballon d'Or 1998). Their strategy worked initially, winning another UCL in 2002, making it three titles in five years and promising a bright future. Then came the game-changing moment Ronaldo (R9), the world's most feared striker, joined Real Madrid fresh from his 2002 World Cup win with Brazil, where he was the top scorer. He also won the Ballon d'Or that year. Initially, the team looked unstoppable, securing a European Super Cup win over Feyenoord. However, problems soon arose. Despite Ronaldo's brilliance, the team, already packed with offensive stars like Raul and Morientes, struggled in the Champions league. They started the season slowly and were eventually knocked out in the semifinals by Juventus.Real Madrid remained committed to their strategy by signing players like Owen and Beckham in the following years, but their Champions League success eluded them. They eventually shifted tactics, and it took 12 years to win the Champions League again. High-profile transfers can have mixed results. Mbappe's best position is on the left wing, where Real already has Vini Jr. This means Mbappe might play as a striker. Currently, Real has a younger, more balanced squad with a promising future, even if they aren't dominating under Carlo.
@R.MadridMessi-Cr7Barca Are youa bot? Your profile name is confusing af. Lol You forgot the biggest blunder Perez made, selling Makelele. Current madrid midfield, is much more balanced and versatile than the galactico era. Unless we have worse injury than last year, i don't see implosion in near future.
One problem is, as you mentioned briefly, absense of kroos. With kroos, madrid would be the most lethal team(which they are even now, but his presence is something else)
Valverde plays in the right not the left and it isn't clear Modric will be starting games (rather than Camavinga or Tchoameni). What we will miss is a creative midfielder that organizes the team like Kroos did.
There is no way Modric is going to be a starter in the current set up, he's the most naturally gifted midfielder Madrid have but regardless of the midfield being a 2, a 3 or a 4 in a diamond he'll be seeing most of his minutes off the bench and against lower quality sides. I love Luka but at 38 years old (He'll turn 39 in September) he just doesn't have the legs to start games anymore, I even think Guler might see more game time ahead of him. The two midfielders who must start no matter what are Valverde and Camavinga.
They played a 4-3-3 when Benzema was starting I believe Don carlo will revert back, with no proper 9 he had to adapt. Makes the most sense for them to lineup that way as the only player really out of position would be Mbappe.
I just want him along with the main components of the team to not have any long term injuries, we finally have someone who's an elite finisher and will draw defenders away from rodrygo and especially vinicius.
I know a lot of people are going to say what about Endrick but Endrick will definitely need some time to develop and be settled in Laliga as he's coming from Brazil, the level of Physicality is of a high difference, so he will most likely be starting off the bench
Modric starting? I don't see that happening and surely you would want Valverde as a RCM in that proposed lineup as the team is all lopsided to the left?
I'm really looking forward to seeing this video. I was wondering for a long time how on Earth they plan to utilize the talents of both Vini and Mbappe. Let's see.
Hopefully I am wrong but I think the leaving of Kross will be more noticed than the arrival of Mbappe. They are lacking a midfielder that can direct the pace of the game and get the ball in posession outside of their own field under heavy pressing, feels like mosts games where Madrid was stuck without proper posession Ancelotti resolved it by changing Tchouameni/Kross position with the ball and putting him more back (the same way he played with Germany this last eurocup). Modric could do this role with his game vision and passing skills but hes going to be 39 soon... And I dont see Valverde, Cama or Tchou fitting that role they are more physical players that outrun opponents rather than having good passing skills
To me, 4312 makes the most sense. What they've been doing. I'd say Camavinga on the left of the three, Valverde on the right. Valverde can offer width Vinicius left of the front two, Mbappé right
I mean Real Madrid has been flexible in terms of attacking players, last season they rely on Bellingham, their star signing last year, in few occasions, also put in Vinicius and Rodrygo too
'History suggests that Ancelotti will find a solution', 'How they line up remains to be seen'... This video barely tells us anything, certainly nothing close to what the title suggests. It very briefly highlights the tactical issues that his signing causes but also not enough to really pose interesting questions. It very well could work out but this video does not really address that at all apart from a few platitudes.
History says this might be ancelotti's last season at madrid, madrid is at a point of very high expectations again and if ancelotti fails at solving the Vini/mbappe/rodrygo problem, he might be shown the doors
Obviously, it's the Champions League and surprises can happn but it's honestly hard to imagine who could stop Real Madrid next season other than maybe Man City, especially with so many would be challengers going through transition periods (Liverpool and Bayern both have coaches that have not really been tested at such a high level, PSG couldn't win the title with Mbappe and Neymar so I can't see them doing it without them, Inter Milan are dominant in Italy but aren't really top contenders in the Champions League, and as impressive as Arteta and Xabi Alonso have been with Arsenal and Leverkusen, both teams showed their limitations last season). And baring some Hansi Flick 2020 Bayern style rejuvenation at Barcelona, it's hard not to see Real Madrid cantering to the La Liga title.
I think Inter and Arsenal have a better shot than you give them credit. Arsenal's limitation was their inexperience in european top flight football, while they shot up the best league in the world, they improve every year under Arteta and i think that it won't be long till they reward themselves with a title, especially with this being potentially Guardiola's last season at Man City. Inter got to a final already and barely lost to Atleti on penalties in a fortress of a Metropolitano where not even Real could win last season, while absolutely dominating the Serie A, with the best defenders in the world, a top 5 keeper in the world and a incredible Lautaro Martinez who's currently on the level of a Kane and Haaland as a ST.
Guys you don’t know football if you put formation with Jude being CAM and Modric cm. It won’t be like that. Modric is not starting 11 player last season even. Jude will be cm with Valverde and Tchoumeni/Camavinga
I like your work guys, but the lineup suggested for R. Madrid to play Mbappe makes 0 sense. Modric could take on a playmaker role, but he is Toni Kross, not only tactically, but defensively. Modric isn't in a condition to defend for 90 minutes. It was proven against Atletico de Madrid last season, and that performance sent him to the bench for what was left of the season. Valverde has played and proved that he can play as CDM or CM, but his full potential is as RCM. Besides, with Mbappe, Vini, Rodrygo, and Modric, who is defending? Bellingham and Valverde?
People underestimate how much Real will miss Kross. They don't have anyone to replace him. Modrić can't play more than 30 minutes per game. Valverde, Tchouaméni and Camavinga are not that type of player and Jude has never been a player who controles games. They don't have any balance in team and without some Kross-like player they will not have as good season as people think.
The only sense in this is Don Carlo and nothing else. But sacrifices will definitely be asked of Kylian, Vini, Jude or Goes at some moments in the season
replace the Right midfield role of modric with valverde as he covers wider spaces left better and modric dropped for Tchouameni. Fede-Tchoua are a must given the long balls of kroos can only be replaced by the frenchman
It won't work. If they play 433, Madrid have 3 RWs starting. If they play 41212 it might work, but there's still going to be a RW playing RF so that right side would be ineffective unless the focus is on passing the ball across the goal
Mbape will blowup the dressing room, as soon as the Spanish media start to criticise him or he runs in a steak of poor form /goaless run... he was never in a situation where competition for a starting place is so high and the fans and the media are always expecting 40 goals a year, and excellent performances in "the big games"
Wow, it's nice to actually see a positive video about this transfer, otherwise everyone is busy saying how this won't work or how it can turn into a disaster
They've had over 2 years to plan his position. If he didn't fit they'd have moved on a while ago

Lol. People quickly forget that when Madrid had Ronaldo-Benzema-Bale or BBC, they all preferred coming in from the left but Bale had to adapt to the right and Benzema combined better with Ronaldo whenever they were both on the left.
@@danielattah1836Bale had his big season for Spurs playing from the right, that is what lead to his transfer.
Rodrygo isn't in top 10.
@@godimready2go he doesn't have a champagne pass in him
If you saw RM in the knockout phases of last UCL you could see how Rodrygo and Vini interchange positions on the pitch. Rodrygo was often on the left side while Vini exploited his speed through the middle. I expect the same to happen with Mbappe.
3:56 that lineup brings back memories, what a team
Modric is no longer a starter at Madrid and he’ll see less minutes again this season.
Tchouameni, Valverde, Bellingham will be starting

Be cool if you did a video on proposed rules changed to football to 'improve' the game.
Ideas:
1) Penalties for Penalty shootouts being converted to 'half way line' runs - been tried before, why didn't it work?
2) Bigger goals? For more goals?
3) More subs (been done now!) Five subs per game!
4) Offside change! What Wenger is proposing - makes it much easier for attackers.
5) Mid half breaks of 1-2 minutes, like we had in the pandemic. This was actually really food I thought. Makes the games even longer though
6) Stopping the clock for when the ball is out of play.
This is the type of video I’ve been missing from Tifo in what feels like years
Bring back the podcast
You’re forgetting fede. He’s the real jewel of this Madrid team
Either way, Mbappe is the best player in the world, he´s the best fit for every single club cause he ALWAYS gonna be an upgrade on what you have.
I can see Vini jr, and Mbappe play really good together. They both play left winger and striker. When oke drifts wide the other attack centraly. And they keep changing position during the match
nah, to similar players it's or vinicius or mbappé and for me mbappé is clear
@@flansexovich7757It’s good that you said for you.
All eyes will be on this team on an even higher level than usual thus season, and I can't wait for it!!!
The big question is not whether he fits Real's playstyle but rather if he can play with Vinicius Jr. They clearly want to play in a very similar position. Ancelotti spend half of last season testing Vinicius more centrally or even slightly to right with Rodrygo open to the left. He did better than I thought, but still, it doesn't feel natural.
joe devine with the narrations is when tifo football feels high quality and like home.

Are youa bot? Your profile name is confusing af. Lol
You forgot the biggest blunder Perez made, selling Makelele.
Current madrid midfield, is much more balanced and versatile than the galactico era.
Unless we have worse injury than last year, i don't see implosion in near future.
All thanks to Mourinho and cr7
One problem is, as you mentioned briefly, absense of kroos. With kroos, madrid would be the most lethal team(which they are even now, but his presence is something else)
finally, a comment from someone who actually understands that kroos was the real glue to that team.
Well this video isn't aging well so far😂
Valverde plays in the right not the left and it isn't clear Modric will be starting games (rather than Camavinga or Tchoameni). What we will miss is a creative midfielder that organizes the team like Kroos did.
this didnt age well
This video aged like milk 😂😂
😂❤
Well this aged well 🤣🤣🤣
The problem now is the metronome in midfield modric is old all camavinga tchouameni valverde similar profils
Jude will be the answer, he has all the tools to be Madrid’s pivot . Let’s arda and Rodryo play in the middle .
The potential in this club in so scary 🤯
I SO F**KING LOVE UR GRAPHICS AND EDITING
Why
@@EstifMulugeta-ob4yt?
I just want him along with the main components of the team to not have any long term injuries, we finally have someone who's an elite finisher and will draw defenders away from rodrygo and especially vinicius.
Bro please make a video on zanneti on the best full back
I know a lot of people are going to say what about Endrick but Endrick will definitely need some time to develop and be settled in Laliga as he's coming from Brazil, the level of Physicality is of a high difference, so he will most likely be starting off the bench
Let's see.
Im a great fan of tactical vids, but what on earth, he's obviously a good fit. He's the best player in the world, he's fast
Dani ceballos can try that role
You know nothing about football 😂 One of Mbappe haters spotted.
And this exactly what happened yesterday
Damn! Thank you for providing this wonderful content. Really interesting perspective to the elite game with extra sharp analysis. Pardon Me.
The scariest part of the Real Madrid team people aren't notifiing is squad depth.
Never had any doubt he’ll fit in. You can play him out wide or in the middle/interchange him.
To me, 4312 makes the most sense. What they've been doing. I'd say Camavinga on the left of the three, Valverde on the right. Valverde can offer width Vinicius left of the front two, Mbappé right
I mean Real Madrid has been flexible in terms of attacking players, last season they rely on Bellingham, their star signing last year, in few occasions, also put in Vinicius and Rodrygo too
Does anyone know of any basketball (NBA or FIBA) channels equivalent to this level of tactical IQ & production quality??

Great video, Thanks for sharing 👏
It doesn't matter whether someone is good or bad. You have to adjust accordingly to the tactics.
I think they’ll eventually settle with a 4-1-2-1-2 and bench Rodrygo
Courtois
Carvajal - Militao - Rudiger - Mendy
Tchouameni
Valverde - Camavinga
Bellingham
Mbappae - Vinicius
Interesting
You know nothing about football 😂 Bellingham needs to go deep in the midfield. That's he's natural position. He has no spot on the wings or middle
@@Gistme2023 him playing in a shadow striker role behind Vini and rodrygo is where he flourished last season you clown
History says this might be ancelotti's last season at madrid, madrid is at a point of very high expectations again and if ancelotti fails at solving the Vini/mbappe/rodrygo problem, he might be shown the doors
Why was the only 3 spots at Milan? I feel that line up was more of a given than a tactical masterstroke with those 4 talents
Amazing fit 😂
Finally was waiting for this, from tifo
Mbappe would work magically in BM shirt 🤏
you have the unique ability to engage all types of audiences!
have an exquisite day
I have a feeling Valverde will be the 10 next season with Jude as more attacking mid and tchou as def mid. Fede will take over Kroos role
Barca fan here, im a little nervous againt RM next season. We cant keep pinning our hopes on injured players and what ifs.
I thought you have Yamal? 😂
replace the Right midfield role of modric with valverde as he covers wider spaces left better and modric dropped for Tchouameni.
You can give him a name of any player and a club, he will make a video regarding how the player is perfect for that club...
It's a shame people look over Madrid's strongest and most crucial player --> Fede Valverde
Very insightful.
Wow, it's nice to actually see a positive video about this transfer, otherwise everyone is busy saying how this won't work or how it can turn into a disaster
It's what They wish...
Those people are terrified that's why lol
Love you the quote a manager that famously couldn’t get Mbappe and Messi to perform as he wanted them to
Skip ahead to a year from now when they’ve won nothing and people will be saying it wrecked the team
Keep waiting 😂 hold your tissue, because you're going to cry when they wins their 16th Ucl next season 🎉
