This transfer saga has been very embarrassing for many and for footballing fans it's become tiring and the most boring news to follow as it's the biggest talking point in football every summer. This transfer saga has been very embarrassing for many and for footballing fans it's become tiring and the most boring news to follow as it's the biggest talking point in football every summer. This saga shouldn't have gone on for a little longer as PSG managed to find a way to convince him to stay at the club last summer by giving him so much money, but the reality is Kylian Mbappe should've never signed that ridiculous contract extension. In a player's footballing career, there's always a time to move on for a new challenge and bigger and better pastures and a lot of players have done that not just in Ligue 1, but in general as you have to make a step up and upgrade your career as loyalty to your club is important and also money as well, but you have to do what's best for yourself and your family and fans who follow the sport. What I mean by that is this isn't just last summer, but 2-3 years ago, Kylian Mbappe should've left PSG and made that big money move to Real Madrid and we're surprised he hasn't left and he isn't there yet, more importantly last summer I was shocked that he didn't move when yes winning the champions league in Paris making history as a local boy is what he's been thinking about, but the best thing for his own career was to leave for Real Madrid 12 months ago and now we keep hearing the same old story that has shown no signs of ending, one day he's happy at PSG, tomorrow he wants to leave. It's been the case over the years and for everyone's best interests and him as well, he needs to get to a proper football club, play in a better team along with much better players, showcase his talents prove himself outside of Ligue 1, just get on with your career and business on a proper squad. I hope in the next 12 months, he's at Real Madrid once and for all as we don't have to hear about the boring news every year. If somehow, Kylian Mbappe signs a longer-term deal with PSG, he should forget about ever playing for Real Madrid and their interest in him should end for good as their own fans have grown impatient with this individual and some of them don't want Mbappe to come to Real Madrid and I don't see it happening but if he does, Real Madrid should move on and sign somebody else for that striker role.

There is the common misconception that the reason he renewed with PSG is money. It's not. If he cared so much about money he would've accepted Saudi's offer of 700m a year or accepted the bigger contracts PSG has offered him. He renewed because when it seemed like all hope was lost on PSG's side they got the Emir of Qatar and the President of France to speak to Mbappe directly and pressure him into staying.
As for HOW he gives money to PSG? Simple. Mbapps's contract includes 100-150 million euros in loyalty bonuses. Basically, if he stays at PSG until a certain point, even without renewing, he gets money. PSG at the moment wants Mbappe out for a transfer fee so they don't lose him for free, but both sides have come to the compromise (that Mbappe first pushed) that in the case of no transfer this summer, he would WAIVE his bonuses and be allowed to leave for free, and in exchange PSG wouldn't bench him.
