    You literally changed it out with one hand in about 30 minutes. Now when this takes me 4 hours with two hands I'll feel stupid. 😂
    Nice work! Great content!

    Great video! Just replaced without an issue and you saved me hundreds of $$$ in labor. Thanks

    Every part of the video was on point! Once the battery was reconnected I was able to adjust my volume, downloaded my contacts, make calls from my steering wheel buttons and changes stations. My clock was brighter and was not flickering! I had to use a T40 instead of the recommended tools. However, the airbag light did not go away. There may be a sensor issue that may be causing this and may try to do a reset to see if it will go away! Still this was more the worth the instruction that was shared!!

    There is a warranty extension from KIA on these Sorrento's for the clock spring. Call your local dealer before paying for repairs.

      I have the same issue with my 2014 Sorento. I just called a Kia dealership and they will fix it for free. It can be covered under an extended warranty per TSB WTY003DEALERP.

    Overall nice video. On my 2011, to get the nut off the steering wheel, I needed a 22mm, not 21mm.
    And need to save the back part of the old clockspring and attach it to your new clockspring.

      Hi there what year was your Sportage my friend has a 07 and there's no videos on the removal of the steering wheel and the replacement of the blinker lever I just want to make sure it's at least similar to the video here and that I can wobble the steering wheel off? Cause some post & videos of other years and models of kia say you need a pulley tool to remove and press the steering wheel on/off the center stud...
      I appreciate any information/assistance/help given and thank you in advance

    Great video! One thing I had trouble with was removing the front of the steering wheel after loosening the torx screws all the way, though. On my Sedona, the torx screws are captive, and my driver wasn't pulling them out quite enough to allow the front of the wheel to come off. The trick I found to get the screws out the last bit was to be gently pulling on the loose front of the wheel while unscrewing the torx screws. This lets the thread on them have some purchase and they go out a little bit more and then the front panel comes off.

    I love how when I replaced my clock spring, I had no problems taking the T30 off. Now I need to take the T30 out again because I need to check the air bag connection to make sure it's not damaged or not all the way connected because of a B134700 code I'm getting now but I can't get the T30 to come loose. So now I gotta try and see if I can find a wrench that has an extension so I can try and break the T30 loose and hopefully now have the Airbag deploy. Tried using my drill with the adapter for the T30 but my drill is so trash it can't break them loose.

      Just changed mine today. I looked at this whole vid and he did forget to mention the back part. I actually thought they gave me the wrong part when I notice I didnt have a place to put one of the last plug. Got to looking and sure enough I had to remove the sensor. Great vid tho. Question: When you put back the nut holding the steering wheel, how much tension do you put on it? Just as much as you can do by hand with a socket wrench? Or less? Or more?

    • @DULLAHGOSOHARD
      @DULLAHGOSOHARD  ปีที่แล้ว

      No not just by hand you have torque it to spec

    • @rogeliomartinez7279
      @rogeliomartinez7279 ปีที่แล้ว

      I recommend you to mark before you remove the nut.
      From stud to nut and also the steering wheel to the stud once you remobe nut so you get good alignment
