Process:
1. Wash: With soap and water
2. Sand: Use 120 grit sanding paper
3. Disinfect or Scrub: Use baking soda and vinegar
4. Dry
5. Oil
6. Rest

You don’t need to wash wood utensils with soap because it absorbs the soap. So it’s better to wash with plenty of water

I boil water with a teaspoon of salt. Then dip the wooden spatulas in it for 5-6 minutes. Cleans the oil.

Try turmeric and oil instead of just oil. Turmeric is antiseptic and also good for maintaining wood’s colour. While buying wooden chopper, shopkeeper or artisan gave me this idea
