Ok, my shirt is batching. At one point I couldn't tell which stripes were blue and which were green so there is probably not going to be as much color definition as yours. But hopefully it will still be cool
FANTASTIC!!! 😍 I just got hot hibiscus and I’m obsessed with blue violet at the moment. I think I can pick another pink and a purple and go for it. I usually feel bummed when I see white in my shirts, but with this type of pattern it’s necessary to make the pattern pop! Thanks for the tutorial ☺️ all the extra info is really great!
Hi! Thanks for all the great informative videos. I checked out your web site you have a lot of really cool shirts and jewelry. I’m just a beginner and have learned so much from your videos. 🙋🏻♀️
This is beautiful! Has an almost southwest flare to it! I’ve been trying to work out how to do something similar on pants and was so thrilled to see this video pop up! Thanks so much as always!!
@@FunEndeavors definitely! I was thinking turquoise and chocolate brown (has a very rust red tone) maybe a little amber waves for accent. . . Darn it! I told my family I’d be productive today, looks like I’m going to tie dye instead!
@@lys943 I'm sure it is beautiful! Unfortunately, TH-cam doesn't allow photos. However, I'm on Instagram and Facebook and you can send a photo that way.
@@FunEndeavors I agree, It would make a cool southwestern shirt 🙂 Hey, I wanna tell ya something crazy. As you know I haven't been dyeing long, and whilst I was learning I watched every video on your channel before I started a few months ago. Today I went to your channel to watch this video and lo and behold starting 7 months ago, all these new hoodie videos appeared from nowhere 😳 Now I am telling you they weren't there before at all. Makes me wonder how many TH-cam vids I cant see or that are filtered out 😳😯
@@TheWVbear that is crazy!!! I went a few weeks ago and put the videos in Playlists so that they would be easier to find, but otherwise I haven't changed anything else.
@@FunEndeavors I believe ya!! It's just weird. Like I said starting from 7 months ago to your very first video, it changed. 12 old/new videos 😳😯 I don't know, but it is strange. I just thought you would wanna know. TH-cam is known for blocking videos for other countries, but who knows.
@@TheWVbear Thank you for letting me know - that's kind of frustrating. Unfortunately, I don't think that there is much that I can do. For the record, I have about 121 videos on my channel. Some of them are just reveals and videos showing various color combinations though.
Oh I gotta go this one! Love it! I'm scared to use my cheap long sleeve Gildan shirts cuz so far theyve turned out like they've been worn 100 times. Fabric suckssss
I actually made a blog post several months ago about how to choose which one to use. Here is a link to the post: www.funendeavors.com/tie-dye-blog/s5epksolde2j5t21phw81kbotibaiv
Hi! Since I wring my shirts out with a Panda Spin Dryer - they are just barely damp when I tie them, and so it doesn't take long. For a shirt like this one, it will probably only take a day or two at the most. It also depends on the weather. In the summer it doesn't take long at all for shirts to dry.
I found your channel by looking at tie dyeing. Your channel appears several times on the sidebar. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you - I appreciate you watching!
I love the colors that you used myself I like shades of pink or red and blue so this is giving me some good ideas
Pink and red would make a really pretty shirt together.
My favorite design!! Gonna have to try to recreate this one!
This is one of my favorites too! Have fun with it!

What about fuchsia for another pink color
So funky! I’m gonna try this design next.

Thank you so much! I thought it looked very southwest too. It definitely would with a different color palette. I'm glad that I could help.

Love it, Angie! Thank you!

Love your designs !

Thank you for sharing. I enjoy your videos! I created a shirt following this pattern. 😊
Thank you - that's great I hope it turned out awesome!
@@FunEndeavors thank you! The design isn't quite as detailed as yours, or maybe it's the difference in colors. I'd share a picture if I knew how!

Very cool take on a classic pattern 🙂👍 Thanks for sharing!
Thank you! I really like how this one turned out. If the color palette was a bit different, it would have a very Southwest feel to it.

@@FunEndeavors not your fault!!! Lol I guess it's all trial and error!!
I love watching your videos and your willingness to teach! Can you please tell me if you use thickened, or semi thickened dye? Thanks!
Thank you! No, the dye hasn't been thickened at all.
@@FunEndeavors ok, thanks!
How do you decide to use kite string, rubber bands, or sinew?

Hi Angie! How long does it take to dry out well the shirt before putting the colors on it?

@@FunEndeavors Thank you Angie!
@@Prayan.VoiceoftheSoul you're welcome!
Can I just do two colors?
Absolutely - feel free to use whatever colors you choose! 🙂
Do you know how to fold to get the honeycomb effect?
Are you talking about the Shibori method using a piece of rope? If so, yes I've made shirts like that, but it's been quite awhile since I've done any.
This is similar to the zig zag shirt. One is folded in half one is not. I went to the zig zag shirt to make sure I was right. Lol. Your shirts rock.
Thank you! I hope your shirt turns out great!
nice
Thanks!
