  • I still can't believe how little that thing costs. And I don't understand why many, many more synth guys use this. Has it something to do with the fact that it is a guitar pedal, so it's "forbidden" to use for any other type of instrument? Please, let me know, here, or on / synthesaurus or on / synthesaurus

Thanks for this review. You reassured me about my as yet untested FX600 pulling some great stereo effects from the mono Crave. Another reviewer really didn't do it justice at all.

Bit late to the show here but great demo, thanks. FYI another great cheap pedal that I'm using with synths like this is the Zoom G1-Four. All those effects you've got there, you can chain them together, up to 5 effects in the chain, plus Reverb, distortion, the lot! Absolutely fine for (in the UK) £60.

You found some very usable effects that sounded great in your demo. It's an amazing price for a stereo pedal, maybe not as sophisticated as the Zoom ms-70cdr, but that's 4X the price so not really a fair comparison.

Hi Mate, really good demo and yes: agree with you that many budget pedals are incredibly cool with synths. I'd like to purchase a PSS A50 for sketching musical ideas but I am not sure which is the best effect for that. What do you sugget between this one and the simila, but Reverb only, from Behringer DR600? Do you know anything that can do both Delay and a very large Reverb (shimmer or something) Thanks a lot also for the last KK2 Patch. Amazing.

Thx Mirko, but I can't anwer that. I tend to only talk about stuff I actually own. Since I have no need for further Behringer FX devices, I'm not gonna get them. But I would really appreciate if you do, and share your XP with us!

    Hello
I have the same pedal and i like it, exept phaser, it is too soft for guitar or bass,,,. Tremolo is perfect because of the blend button,... Boss tremolo have not this option... I dont understand.... Thanks behringer. Thanks for your vidéo

Was thinking of doing this, but didn't because multi-effects usually aren't particularly good and neither are digital Behringer pedals (analog are okay).

It's a matter of standards, of course. My Synthesaurus project is mostly about budget stuff, so my demands aren't that high :) However, for 23 bucks, you really can't complain.

@@SynthesaurusRex true! i'd rather spend them bucks on this pedal than on a afternoon coffee at a brand coffee house :)))

@Boxkhar [ML] You have to know that Behringer back in its early years was notorious for producing cheap, but really bad-sounding stuff. It was unusably bad. That has obviously changed. Now they are making really good stuff, overtaking the traditional brands like Korg and Roland left and right.

Just picked this up yesterday. Its alright for the price ($50). In the states, the used ones are more than the new ones cuz theyre always on backorder. It doesnt come close to a line 6 pod 2.0. A pod doesnt have a stereo in though. If u find a pod 2.0 cheap i highly recommend it for ur synths. Got mine for around $100. Its double the price but, except for the mono input, 10 times more versatile.

Nothing wrong with these pedals, so far i haven't read about anybody having one of these pedals fail on them while playing live so. You can't beat the price point so take it for what they give you!!

Well, I made this video 3 years ago, and in the meantime, the price for the pedal got way up. But it doesn't matter, it's still way worth the price.

They are made with plastic parts, so low budget teenagers can have access to them.

That's true. Is there something wrong with low budget teenagers getting access to things?
