THANK YOU! AMD OVERDRIVE SUCKS ASS. I highly recommend NEVER using it. I uninstalled the program, reset my bios, did everything I could think of and it would overclock my PC on startup no matter what. This fixed it. Thanks!
I tried at logn ago. 99% drops from 3.2 to 1.9 I want it to run at 2.7 ghz. I had that on windows 7 but I had to upgrade to 10 and now my laptop overheats
You got this all wrong. Turbo Core was designed to work within the limits of the processor's TDP. This is the same as Intel Turbo Boost. I still have to see of a game that stutters with either Turbo Core (AMD) or Turbo Boost (Intel). What turbo core or turbo boost simply does is add additional speed when your game or tasks demands it while maintaining the pc at the lowest possible power output so as not to go beyond the TDP. It is similar to but not exactly overclocking as it is the system that decides when to boost the speed and under what parameters does it boost the speed. The design parameters for the Turbo Core or Turbo Boost is rarely beyond the TDP of the processor even if it operates at the maximum speed. When the task no longer requires the additional speed, it simply reverts back to either the normal base speed or underclocked state so as to conserve power.

I don't have a laptop with AMD, just a desktop computer with the same processor. Will it make any difference?
Brother please tell how can i enable Amd turbo boost again?? there is no option in bios or graphics settings!!
You put it on 99%, but I see that from 2,2 Ghz of my processor drop down to 1,1 Ghz when configurating this option, making it useless

I have a laptop...how to enable this again!!
@Susan Bhattarai yes set to 100% again
disabling turbo core technology is basically on uefi or bios on later motherboards.
but not in laptos with apu A8/A10
@@luisbaeza1809 Well if it is not on laptop, i am sorry, your bios doesnt have the way to disable it and thats sad..
@@ArchitectEnterprises don´t worry, i found a hack to disable turbo core
@@luisbaeza1809 and i dont want the hack bc i own a amd fx pc
not any more bc ryzen
why 99%?
Best 😀
+Dejan Periskic thank you very much dude..
