I bought these by chance a month ago cause they caught my eye and fit like a million bucks. I've been wearing boots for decades and I will tell you one thing happened I didn't expect. Dozens of people have randomly come up to compliment me on these boots. NEVER HAD THAT HAPPEN - EVER! The double-stitching was one of the things I liked about them and I think it works because the round toe is "bigger" and less "pointy" than most roper styles I've experienced. The color is eye-popping and look great with jeans. Never heard of them prior to purchasing but super satisfied.
Hi Jeremiah. Another well done video. I kind of like the white piping. I agree with your assessment of the sole. I currently own two of pairs of this collection. Absolutely one of my most comfortable boot next to my Chisos #2. Because of your videos I went from 2 pairs of cowboy boots to 19 and still always looking for something a little different. Keep the videos coming and thanks for making me hide some of boots in boxes in the garage away from my wife. 😅
It’s a good looking pair of boots but I would prefer just a single stitched welt. The white piping is a bit bright and I agree that it would look better with the piping being a closer color match to the shaft color.
I have a pair of HP boots, and they’re my only pair of wide square toes. I have small feet, so they can look a little funny (like my feet are flat flippers), but I like them a lot more than I would have expected! I also went down a size from my usual, with the wide toe box, and they fit just snugly. They’re fun, with a patchwork foot and turquoise shaft. They’re sort of my cheap ‘n cheerful pair.
I just bought a square toe Top Hand Belly Ostrich. I normally only buy Anderson Bean, Justin American, or Tony Lama. I bought these because I wear 13 B, and right now no one is producing narrow men's boots. The salesman told me that these run a little narrow. And with an additional insert, they were a great fit and very comfortable. White piping?? No. I was told that the Top Hand Collection was just under Anderson Bean in quality. Time will tell. Happy so far.
I am a single welt guy but the double welt (I like to call Double Wide), isn't as bad on a Roper. Really dislike them on a wide square toe. White piping, nope, but it's changeable. I changed my Justin Roper 3163 to black from the original light brown. It looks much better.
I had the horse power red sins and they were OKAY. I think they were in line with the cody james' boots that you can get at boot barn. They weren't Blackjack/Hondo quality and they weren't as bad as Target/Walmart quality. Just right in the middle of the two. For the price they will get you by.
Not a bad looking boot. I'd hit the shaft piping with a permanent magic color marker. The round toe isn't so bad, but a single stitched welt would make these much nicer. 8/10. 👍
Those are nice. Not a huge fan of the white piping, but it’s not a dealbreaker. Top Hand line are pretty good quality. I’ve not had a pair of boot with hybrid sole. Can the rubber portion be replaced when worn?
At 2:25 you mentioned wearing holes in boot leather bottoms within 6 month to year. I’ve worn boots for several years almost daily & never wore a hole in the leather bottom boots, sure I may wear the heel uneven or wear out the leather on the sides, But never in 40-50 years wearing western cowboy & work boots worn a hole in a quality leather bottom boot!
Having both A.B. and HP top hand the are very comparable. In all honesty the top hand line is a very unique level of quality. Also I'm a big lover of contrasting piping and I like the white because it stands out against anything. Also tbh I've never rlly seen a pair of A.B. that don't have a stacked leather heel.

Personally I think it would look better with just a single stitched welt, but a good looking.
Love my Olathe boots with their hybrid sole.

Ha! I'm only on 10 but do the smuggling in past my wife if I can too😉!

I like the white piping and double stitch welt. Dressy. Thanks for the review. I always enjoy them.
Oh wow ,I like everything about those boots, especially that round toe,I wish I had a pair.

Nice boots, but I don't like the white piping. Not a huge fan of the double stitch welt on round toe boots. Overall the boots are nice.
You should check out horsepower top hand exotics! I have some horsepower pirarucu and they are super nice
I like the white piping and contrast just fine. That said, piping the same color as the stitching would have been a nice option.
I like them! They look good. I'm not a fan of the piping either, but it's not a deal breaker.

What jeans are those Jeremiah? Another great video, as always!

I have AB stingray. They are awesome boots and worth the cost.
