    For rich, creamy, quality Lard, I highly recommend US Wellness Meats’ Pork Lard. It is not bleached, deodorized, hydrogenated, or altered - www.grasslandbe...?affId=200243
    No animal on the face of the Earth, no insect, no bird, no reptile, has to calculate it's protein or fat needs.
    And we don’t either.
    When we give our body the foods it needs, it is programmed to reward us with the right ratio of protein and fat. It also give us the greatest gift of appetite control.

    We are from Ireland. My parents were married almost 67 years. Our family was raised on slow cooked meats and a large potion of vegetables. Everything was fresh and home made. Everyone of my 6 brothers and 3 sisters were all healthy slim people. My mother passed and a year later my father passed who was in his 90s both drove to the day they died, rode horses, never had wheel chairs or walking sticks. They were both healthy people...fat did them no harm.

    • @newunderthesun7353
      @newunderthesun7353 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Nonsense -- every other creature on earth eats as much as they can as often as they can - they don't calculate protein or fat because they eat every time they find something to eat. Big cats eat pounds of meat every day. Polar bears don't even eat meat - they eat blubber and leave the meat to the birds. It is idiotic to compare what a man "calculates" to what an animal calculates because animals don't calculate anything. They eat as much as they can and when they are not eating the are sleeping, fighting or reproducing - just like man.

    I used to be able to eat a 16oz steak, baked potato, salad, and bread with no problem. Since I have been eating LCHF/intermittent fasting, I can no longer eat that much food. I become satiated quicker and stay that way for 12 hours or more. I've been eating this way for 3 months and have lost 51 lbs....almost effortlessly. Your video, Butter Makes Your Pants Fall Off, got me started. I was searching information on a gastric sleeve when, thank God, I ran across your video. I came across your video back in February of this year. the first 3 months after eating this way, I lost over 30 pounds. I am now at 40 pounds lost. But let me say this, the weight loss was just a bonus!! I have suffered from irritable bowel syndrome for as long as I can remember. I am 46 years old and I can honestly say that I am not the same man that I was before. I am no longer a prisoner of the restroom! If I had known about this I believe I would still have my gall bladder. It doesn't stop there, oh no, since the age of 20 I have suffered from heartburn and acid reflux. One pill a day no more! At most 2 or 3 a month and that's probably just from eating something spicy. I want to first thank God and secondly thank you Bob for getting up and sharing this wonderful plan!!! One more thing before I go, I can't recall a single headache since eating this way!

    All I could do was smile when you were talking about cats and what they need. They are obligate carnivores meaning they don't need a lot of carbs in there diet. Our neighbor passed away about 4 years ago and we took his cat so it wouldn't end up at the shelter. He started having cystitis about 6 months after he came to live with us. We were feeding him a top rated dry food - then when he presented with the cystitis we took him to the vet and they put him on meds and changed his food to something with lots of carbs in it because they said it is better for his urinary tract. It wasn't helping- if anything it got worse. Then I read about cats being obligate carnivores and we started feeding him a raw meat diet... with in a week he was off all the meds and he no longer has cystitis attacks.
    Four weeks ago I started eating LCHF. I was taking 1000MG of metformin and 4MG of glimepiride twice a day. After the first week of intermittent fasting and low carb eating I stopped all my meds. Over the following three weeks my blood sugars have been slowly improving. The last five days they have been rock solid normal. I think it is hilarious that I started the cat on a LCHF diet first to help him be healthy. Now I am following along and outrageously happy to be off my diabetic meds.

Greens cooked in butter; full fat mayo; olive oil poured over nearly everything. By July I'd naturally phased into 'fasting', only eating when I felt hungry, and have adopted the 16:8 IF system. I haven’t lost any weight for at least 8 months. Keto 3years. Tried carnivore - my weight increased. Back to keto but still stalled. Soooo I prayed for help as to what to do. Then Butter Bog came up. What!!!!! He hasn’t made any videos for say 4 years. Well, he told me to fast. Intermittent fasting. My prayers are answered, I am going to do alternate day fasting. First fast day today. God is wonderful. Butter Bob is wonderful. Thank you Bob.

    Great advice Bob! When I began learning about this lifestyle I was obsessing over the right amounts of macro's !!! I was weighing everything, keeping a daily record of my intake, testing my blood sugar, testing with ketone urine strips, blah blah blah. I was driving myself CRAZY! Yes I lost some weight and I was feeling better but I could not relax and just enjoy my new lifestyle. You are so right about "keeping it simple" , listening to your body and simply eating REAL food. It's an awesome feeling to be free of diets, counting calories or macros. Thanks Bob for yet again another awesome video!!

    Having just begun implementing the information you provide, Bob, I feel highly encouraged and motivated to accomplished weight-loss, albeit, I am not, excessively, over-weight. Your own experience, is not unlike others I have read about but, what truly impacted upon me was how you wove-in quality-of-life benefits, aside from just weight-loss. Arthritis, elevated blood-pressure, high-cholesterol levels are all afflictions that I have an am tired of hearing-about, thinking about. Arthritis has affected me to the extent that I can no longer exercise with tenacity, as before, and any expectation of losing weight in that manner has never, really, been productive in relationship to my current expectations. Your info is really about life-style changes and is not a goal-oriented method which, like a bathroom scale or mirror, tends to frustrate the endeavor. My motivation will be helped-along by watching one of your videos, on a regular basis, to reinforce knowledge and keep the carrot before the donkey's nose. Keepin' it simple! Gee, where have I heard that?

I've made some of their complicated recipes that were not the cheapest to make, and they turned out disgusting. i'm more of a simple eater like you are describing and it is a serious breath of fresh air to find someone who is very keto-like that just lays it out in simple terms, doesn't make up a ton of rules, so it is customizable, just general guidelines. and then shows really simple eating. thank you so much, i was at a point i was considering going carnivore because the ketoconnect and other keto recipes just weren't working for me.
