Thank you for the kind words, unfortunately I ended up selling it and picking up another street glide. My fiancé did not like it further rides longer than 25 minutes or so. We tend to take five or six hour ride on the weekend
Looks great man! I have the forward controls on my 2020 Low Rider S as well. Wasn't sure about keeping them or switching back to the mids, but after I added the Saddlemen seat, which pushes me forward a bit, the forward controls are perfect!
By Far Best HD I've Owned being my Third,,So Good in fact I Even Sold my 19 Show winning Gsxs 750z. Awesome bikes ..Just Go Forwards and Slip ons the rest is Cosmetics.. %100
I’m getting ready to buy a Lowrider ST. I understand that there’s a inch more room, I’ll see when I get it. Probably will go to forwards on that as well
I would not know for sure, but they don’t take up a bunch of room. Check out their website I’m sure it’s on there whether they make them for a sportster
Youre not the only one. I just ordered a set!! Im 6’2 and i feel like a giant goon all smushed in the bike. Yes I know it’s a sport cruiser and the mid controls are bla bla. I do not submit to forward control bullying or shaming. let’s get real people if I wanted to really carve the turns I’d be on a gsxr or an R1 or one of the many sport bikes ive had. I bought a cruiser to be comfortable.
Bro i'm 6'1" and i think I'm gonna get forward controls. mids are just to crowded for my long legs. How much more comfortable is it with forwards? My hips cramp non stop and it just feels uncomfortable.
So far so good, I went on some semi twisty roads on Sunday, nothing too hard core. I’m planning on finding a twisty road to play on this coming weekend and I will update in the next video. I’m assuming I’m going to lose a little bit of clearance between the forward controls and the mini floorboards, but at least won’t to be hitting my boot heels on the pavement any longer
@@rosyrosenblum9823 I would think, since you had to raise your brake pedal, that it would increase lean without scraping the new thing(hard to call that a floorboard). However it appears that now the engine guard will hit the ground first.....that's a bad thing My heels scraping is an intentional thing, when my heel scrapes then that's far enough.....slow down I have been looking at floorboards for my forward controls Dyna, and the angle adjustment is a must
That’s an interesting question, I just answered it a few weeks ago by buying a bike that it’s the middle ground between both. I picked up a Roadglide ST
The problem with these is that once mounted, the brake lever and shifter are so far inside it’s nearly impossible to shift or brake w/o turning your ankle in far enough to reach them. OEM pegs are superior imo. These are all for show.
Hey Rosy, I really like your setup on the LRS. Have you done any longer rides on it? How do the ergonomics feel after riding for hours ? Also, how does that windscreen perform at freeway speeds? Thanks for any info! I am considering going from a road king to a similar setup to your LRS
On a longer ride the smaller frame definitely beat you up more than on a touring bike. I never went more than about 150 miles without having to get off and stretch
It’s a RWD TXR fairing. A little bit bigger than the Memphis shades and has provisions for speakers. I actually have a couple of videos on it on TH-cam
Nice Lo Rider S. How is it riding with the rubber inserts for the Riot X? Is there still a good grip? How is the vibration with and without? How are those mini boards on long trips? Again sweet bike man.
@@rosyrosenblum9823 just got them and installed them. Looking forward to taking them out tomorrow. You're right the inserts feel a bit off. Appreciate the vid and especially the reply
Holy smokes! Was thinking it was a Street Glide for a moment! Beautiful bike dude. Mods are killer and looks amazing! Ride safe!
Thank you for the kind words, unfortunately I ended up selling it and picking up another street glide. My fiancé did not like it further rides longer than 25 minutes or so. We tend to take five or six hour ride on the weekend
I also have forward controls on my ‘21 LRS. Saddlemen SDC seat and forward controls perfect combo.
Yeah, it really changes the bike. Congrats
How tall are you?
Which splined peg adapter should I get for the 2022 low rider S brotha??????
Sorry I don’t recall, it was a few years ago but I just bought it from Harley

Thanks Luke, the mini floorboards make all the difference in the world. I finally feel like I’ve almost got riding Nirvana
looks like a super product - thanks for posting
You’re welcome, thanks for watching!
Thinking about getting one of these. Looks pretty nice.
Lulu?

Very cool and informative video. Love the bike, the comment about the hip flexors is so true, need to modify for taller riders. Well done.
Thanks, I try!
I want forward controls.

would these fir a 2012 sportster 48 1200 ?

What crash bar is that
It’s the standard softail mustache bar. I picked it up on eBay
You called a year ago sport touring
Fxlrst
I know, maybe Harley will give me some naming rights! I’ve had a few people tell me that it’s kind of funny

Couldn’t agree more
What kind of adapter do you need???
It came with everything I needed, I already had the forward controls on there
I would like to add forward controls to mine. What did you use to plug the hole in the primary cover left from the mid controls.
The kit from Harley comes with a plug.
What’s that frame slider door rust thing called
Not sure what you’re referring to, can you expand on the question please?
Check out my 2023 Lowrider st foward controls review thanks
Nice video, the bike looks great, I was really caught between the Roadglide ST and the low rider ST
What is the name of that fairing? I love it
RWD TXR fairing
Love your bike. I like to see some riding videos.
Yeah, I’m thinking about picking up a GoPro or some thing. I’d like to do some riding videos as well
I'm having trouble finding the splined adapter. Where did you purchase them and do you have a model number?
I got them with the mini floorboards from Kuryakyn’s website. I believe all I had to do was choosing a 2018+ softail
Bro i'm 6'1" and i think I'm gonna get forward controls. mids are just to crowded for my long legs. How much more comfortable is it with forwards? My hips cramp non stop and it just feels uncomfortable.
It changed the bike. It went from being painful to super comfortable. The only thing is you need to have some kind of seat to hold you in place
@@rosyrosenblum9823 Yeah, i have a step up seat.
just wondering if they affect the lean angle at all? Any extra scraping?

How tall are you? Wondering why the mids were too close.
32 inch inseam. 5’10”
What risers do you have installed?
They are the 6.5 inch risers from drag specialties
Rosy, if you could only have one bike, would it be the Lowrider S or your Ultra?

I disagree 100%, it was much easier to use the break and the shifter once I put those on. I think it’s all in your adjustments. Thanks for watching
Fairing ??????
RWD TXR fairing
What sissy bar is that ? And where did you buy it ?
It’s an Edward Ritchie sissy bar, I bought it on etsy.com

That’s what I want..!!
Great bike, the only downside is if you regularly take a passenger
Should have just got a sport glide
If I had to do it all over again, I probably would’ve gone that route
