What seat is this? The gambler?
Its a dual tour
Great review
Thanks for watching! I appreciate the comment.
Great video. Can you provide any more details on the Franks Customised seat? How to contact Franks? And what specifically did Franks due to the seat aside from a recover? Thx again
Frank actually retired last year, basically what he did was put a new skin on the stock frame with memory foam in the seating areas
Thanks for the video. How long did you leave the clothes inside the jacket to stretch it?
They were in there for a couple of days while the jacket dried. Another member commented that he used an inner tube from tires to do the same thing. Thanks for watching
Can anyone tell me the part number or if it exists for an 87 FLHT I can't seem to find it anywhere or information
Actually your arms are too stretched out you need a slight bend in your arms
That’s because I’m built like a T-Rex lol, I’m actually going to put a spacer on my risers to try to get there, but you’re 100% right
@ I’m trying to get a seat that moves me forward. I have seen the cop bikes that actually move you up and slightly forward for a more commanding position. I figure if it works for cops who sit on their bikes all day and all week, there must be something to it.
Been waiting for more from the day you posted this video 😢
I ended up selling it pretty quickly. It was so unruly on the street to drive it wasn’t fun. Ended up replacing it with a TJ… My 10th. Thanks for watching, look forward to some TJ videos coming soon
Amazing how so many comments people think a Harley-Davidson dealership should charge the same as a DIY in their home garage.
I don’t believe that doing it at a dealership should be the same as doing it at home. There is obviously a lot more overhead, technical training, and time necessary to support a dealership. I don’t believe that anywhere in the video I said that it was required for dealerships to match the price of a do it yourself home mechanic. Thanks for watching, I appreciate the comment
@rosyrosenblum9823 You didn't. I said the majority of the comments made to your video complained that a Harley-Davidson dealership should charge the same price as their garage DIY. I disagreed as well. There are just people who like to bash Harley-Davidson and the dealerships. I wish these people would be happy and buy an Indian, Honda or some other motorcycle. It amazes those that buy a HD or their merchandise then complain how expensive and rip off it is. I have great dealership, they charge a fair price. I don't have the time, tools or training. I would rather spend time enjoying riding my Road King than complaining about it. I proudly wear my overpriced t-shirt when I ride. I want HD and the great people at the our dealership to survive and prosper.
Checked out your video last night and decided to try this. Instead of stuffing with clothes etc. I remembered i had an extra tire tube for my ATV. As luck would have it, it seems to be just a little bigger than my ever-expanding rotund waistline. Jacket has very strong seams so I wasnt worried about them BUT I was a little worried about the bottom buttons and zipper area. SO, I temporarily reinforced the closures with some extra vice grips and small pieces of leather (to not mar the jacket leather). I blew up the inner tube as much as I dared, let it all dry, now I have tons of room! 😁
That’s awesome! I wish I had thought of that! I really do appreciate the comment and watching the video
I worry that they’ll be too slippery without any rubber?
Actually it’s the exact opposite. When the stock floor boards with the rubber get wet they get slippery. Because of the serrated nature of the thrash and supply boards, my foot is very well planted when wet. In fact the main reason I got these boards was my feet were slipping off the factory boards when it was damp outside
@ man that is really interesting and I appreciate the explanation! I may give them a try!
Mustang is the best.
Never tried a Mustang seat, didn’t feel like dropping a lot of money just to try one out for my free video lol
Yes. they shrink☺️
See I’m not the only one
im comfort before form. so rubber under my boots then metal plate gotta say the pricing is way too high for a metal plate and name. I like the ones you took off.
Comfort wise I would say the thrashing supply boards are 95%, however I always felt like my feet were going to slip off going around corners. Multiple times when it was damp out my feet would slide off
Nice Bike 👌🏽
No Mustang seat? Get outa here.
Never tried a Mustang seat, didn’t feel like dropping a lot of money just to try one out for my free video lol
Thanks for sharing. Was it wet before you stuffed the jacket? Thx
Yes it was, it was after wearing it for a couple of hours and not getting the results I wanted. Was my last shot before taking it to a tailor
Great bike is your backrest from benlari?
That is the factory Harley backrest for touring bikes
We're yours flapping up and down on thr mounts how did you secure it . Mine just flip up and down too much
Actually mine are the opposite, they barely budge. I was worried that they wouldn’t give going around corners
Half..are garbage 🗑️ LoL
No argument here, hoping to help other people from spending money on them. Thanks for watching!
I’m 6’2”. I have 10” la choppers. I like the hight but the pull back needs more. On the site gaffe says these bars have a 9” pull back. I’m going to try them in my new bike
I am 5’10” tall with short arms and they worked fine. Should be easy for you
Trusty Dusty? you mean Screw driver Lol

What’s up Rosy! About time you bought a jeep!
They seem to come and go from my garage. I get excited about them, keep them for six months and then get bored and get another one
I like the seat you're rockin in this video
Only dudes who are used to having something hard on their ass would like it! :-) See you Saturday
That was one of the best reviews so far. The only additional information I'd like is seat height. Outside of that fantastic
They were all pretty similar in ride height, the Saddlemen Road sofa was the tallest of all of them by far, followed by the Corbin dual tour
@rosyrosenblum9823 Corbin or mustang is what I'm trying to decide between it seems.
I’ve never tried a Mustang seat, but I have heard good things about them. I am currently using my Corbin solo and dual tour seats and couldn’t be happier.
Thanks for the video you just saved me 600 bucks. I think im gonna stick with a stock seat. I bought the drag special seat its a great low profile seat. But anything more than a 2 hr ride gets uncomfortable.
I have found a lot of good deals on Facebook marketplace/OfferUp on Used Corbin and other seats typically around half price or less. Makes it easier to try them out because you’re not going to lose too much if you don’t like them. Thank you for watching, I’m glad I could help you! If you look through my videos, I did another seat comparison with five other seats. You should check it out, it might help your decision-making
Yep, nice look - did one myself. 😎👍
Nice 👍
I'm in SD & want to go to corbin to get a seat for my 24 road glide but the ride there on the oem seat sounds horrible
It was not awesome, I’m happy to lend you my modified street glide seat for the ride if you ship it back. It’s actually pretty comfortable and better than the stock seat by 100%
That's the fastest way to rip a seam. That's just asking for trouble. The best way is to wash the jacket in a washing machine with about half a cup of fabric softner. When the was is done, then you can put it on and stretch it. It sucks because it's wet, but the fabric softner does its job and makes the leather soft enough to stretch. Wear it for about a half hour or more while stretching it. The seams won't break because of the fabric softner. Trust me, I've stretched like 5 jackets already! By the way, leather really doesn't shrink. We just get fatter! 😂😂
I actually tried your method the first time and it didn’t stretch it enough. When I stuffed it full of donation clothes and let it sit for a day or so and kept stuffing it it worked. I was worried about busting a seam as well, but luckily it did not and I’m super happy with the fit now. Thanks for watching and the comment. I always appreciate it!
CB Radio 😎👍👍🇺🇸🇺🇸
Ironically, that’s the one thing I really didn’t need as I have two of them sitting in a cabinet. Thanks for watching again!
Finally someone who is not afraid to say the Saddleman Roadsofa is crap! I bought the same seat and I now have over 30000 miles of "break in" on it and it's still like sitting on a wooden park bench!!! Worst money I've ever spent on my bike.
Yeah, I just did another video and included a few more seats. I ended up finding/buying the best seat I’ve ever ever had which is the Corbin dual tour with a backrest. If you’re still trying to find a good seat, that is definitely my recommendation. Either way thank you for watching and I appreciate the comment
😎👍👍🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Thank you very much, I appreciate it :-)
Thank you for the video. I had the Saddle step up seat3. Never was waz happy with it. Starting with comfort. I acquired the stock seat. I am happy with it so far. But I haven't been on any long trips with it yet
Thanks for watching first of all. I had nothing particularly against the stock Street glide seat. The problem was after a couple of hours it became painful. It was a hard decision for me to step up and spend so much money on the Corbin seat, but it is so much more comfortable than any other seat I’ve tried
@@rosyrosenblum9823 this is why I watch these videos for more of an educational factor for myself. I do appreciate your input. I do agree comfort is a major deal while riding
Yeah, for me it came down to spending $30,000 on the bike and hating the seat
@@rosyrosenblum9823 I couldn't pass up the deal on my 2009 street glide. 12000 dollars with 17000 miles on it. At that price I am not going to worry to much about pricing on getting the right seat. I just need to get out and do some more riding
@rosyrosenblum9823 Awesome video, thank you. Is any of your seats up for sale yet ? Interested in your corbin solo seat, Question I'm 6"2 riding new SG, looking to upgrade seat for sure and possibly upgrade bars ? I'm Assuming I should get the extended seat first then the bars ?
Check out my 2023 Lowrider st foward controls review thanks
Nice video, the bike looks great, I was really caught between the Roadglide ST and the low rider ST

Nice videos, bike looks great. I subscribed!
I'd miss the hell out of my heel shifter.
I’ve never liked them, I do know people who swear by them, but it’s all personal preference. Thanks for watching
Does the guage cable extension come with the kit? I plan on doing this setup and might buy some cable extensions for the hand controls and tuck it all in the fairing if possible.
Yes, it did come with the cable required to do the extension. Good luck, make sure you label the two canbuss connectors correctly
Where’d you find the license plate bracket and turn signals?
The license plate bracket is a Kuryakyn piece that goes between the rear fender and the tail light. The turn signals are called Fillerz from custom dynamics. I actually still have them sitting in a box if you’re interested
🔥
You’re on fire?

Rolled Stones booed in Vancouver after praising comrade Trudeau
Ok
You could have it altered/let out.
I talked to multiple tailors about it, they would have to add in an extra panel which may 1. Compromise the structural integrity of the jacket, 2. Change the appearance of the jacket. It was tight in so many areas that I was told it would be easier and probably almost the same cost just buying a larger size. Doing it this way cost me probably four dollars in leather conditioner :-). Thank you for watching and I appreciate the comment
I put some 12 inch Dominator bars just like those and it was way more difficult job than doing the S&S cam chest upgrade.
I remember doing it and thinking to myself that it took so much longer than I expected. Thanks for watching!
I have owned several Harley's threw the years but my 2017 Ultra limited is the best Harley I have ever owned.
I loved everything about that bike except for one thing, I could never stop the turbulence. Tried multiple windscreens, all the different wind blocking devices, nothing helped above 75 miles an hour. I do miss the bike, she was beautiful
😎👍👍
Thanks for watching again, I appreciate it
I just got a quote for $600 for the 1000 mile change from 2 different dealerships. Screw that!
I feel your pain… Sad thing is I’m probably going to have to get my 10,000 miles service done at the dealership. My warranty runs out right about the same time as I should hit 10,000 miles so I wanna make sure anything they find in any updates that need to be done are done under warranty
I am just curious what do you think they should have quoted you? You realize a dealership has expenses like employees, insurance, building etc.
@@jagjr6772 I bought the oil, filter, gasket, and o-rings for $200. That in itself is overpriced. Then I realized the oil levels were low in all ports coming from the dealership to begin with. The owner's manual is WRONG on amounts of oil to put in a 117 Breakout. I bought extra oil and did the job myself. Now the bike runs very smooth with correct amounts of oil in it. Moral of the story? Why pay a grease monkey $600 to damage my bike when I can pay $200 and do it myself the right way.
My helmet was to tight after I ordered it, so I took one of my granddaughters big rubber kick balls and deflated it and put it inside the helmet and pumped it back up as tight as possible and left for a week and now I have plenty of room. 😎👍
Wow, that is ingenious. I usually end up using a spoon and a hammer to relieve pressure points
