Bushhogging is a stress reliever to me. Mow down, knock down the biggest mess I can get into. Just like things that weigh on my mind. Chew them up,run over them and when you're done there's a beautiful landscape. Excellent video Tim, excellent sir.
My dad just traded his in on a smaller mahindra and that deere was the quietest tractor I've ever been around and this little 30 horse mahindra will blow your ear drums out!
Bush hogging is so therapeutic lol Great way to get away from it all for a little while. Can’t wait to get off this boat and go home Thursday and hit the deer fields and trails this time off. Got a shooting house to stand up too 👍
If it bangs and clunks and Clanks like a bushhog it must be a bushhog. I just bushhogged today on a brand new 6 footer on my 40hp Kubota. I also use my Hydro top link like you to lay the beast down and pulverize unsuspecting shrubs haha
Heading down to my hunting club Thursday with my John Deere and my Husky 61 to do some bush hogging and tree cutting and spraying! My wife don’t understand but it’s so relaxing to get away from everyday chores! You also gave a good idea. Put the loader on just in case! Y’all have a good-un! Oh and I dropped a hint to Hollis Farms this morning that you and Jason have not made a video together in a while. I know y’all stay busy, but I think I speak for all the viewers when I say we really enjoy it when y’all get together! At least I do! Lol. If y’all get a chance hit us with one! Thanks!
That's so nice to see such a majestic oak tree like that. My family has a little bit of land up in Wisconsin that we use primarily for hunting, and the acorns, nearby crops, and a few ponds are what really keep the critters hanging around. Keep on opening things up one pass at a time. Eventually, the grass will take it back from the forest if you keep after it enough. At least you have the equipment to take care of the work. I can't even imagine trying to do this the old way (by hand).
Good bushhogging and tractor riding video-the drone view was cool!Used to do this to a degree-miss it!Mostly when I did tower field lots of mice and turtles got ground up in the mower. When you hit a turtle you think you hit a rock,or a brick!Yes,encountered bricks and of all things--basesballs and golf balls in a towerfeild. The neighbor played golf and baseball. Its really something when you hit a golf ball with the high pressure core!!!BOOM!!!!
Great footage with the drone. Watching you with that tractor makes me wish we had something like that when I was growing up. Looks to be about the right size for what you do with it. We had to mow our field with a 1940 John Deere model H pulling a converted horse drawn sickle bar mower that had a 4 foot cut. It took a while because you could only pull it at 1 1/2 miles a hour. But I wouldn't trade those days for anything. Kids now days would think themselves ill used if they had to do half of what we did growing up. Keep up videoing the different stuff. I enjoy all of it.
Definitely some great tractor therapy. Great job on the video too. That’s a nice peaceful spot A good pair of boots are well worth the cost and the first time they save you from a snake bite they will pay for their self especially the way you play with snakes 🐍 😂
Was pushing some brush with my 5055 and a small limb climbed over the bucket and punched through the grill screen and came VERY CLOSE to going through the first cooler in front of the radiator! Needless to say, I put a piece of expanded metal in the existing grill guard that protects the front much better now!
I’ve been down for 2 weeks. Been waiting for my new $800 windshield to come in from where my good ol batwing decided to bust it on out of there. Such a good video! This is the best kind of cutting right here!
Just seen a big ol skidder on flatbed n log trucks for days. Can’t help thinking they your rigs. Told Hollis farms it’s different kind of heat down here. 5.9 getting work out from A/C full blast 👌. Love to meet you guys
Awesome video Tim. Looks like a really nice place to hunt. Was there any civil war activity on your property. I would be detecting around that big red oak. Lol
just got done hoggin, i got two wheels in the rear, better control and i do not hook up the top link so i can go up and down hills backwards. i hate going through trees and getting greased from the loader putting grease on the tree limbs. that tool box will get ripped off soon.
Sir, How long is your trailer? Does your Bushhog hang off the back a bit so you can get your tractor set over the axles? I ask because I want to buy a Bushhog and trailer like yours but I'm unsure how much trailer to get so my weight is properly balanced. I love your channel
Every time I’d do some hogging the hawks would come around and scarf up the snakes or other varmints. But mostly snakes. Fly in from nowhere and grab one.
In all the time that you been bush hogging have ever ran over a snake that you saw afterwards with the mower? Also with moving trees with the bucket and boom on the tractor knocked any snake out of the trees? I was just wounding. That would scare the you know what of me. My dad shot a black snake (I believe in some places they are call rat snake.) that was about 5 to 7 feet above my head as I was playing below the snake. Scared the living stuffing out me.

Enjoyed. Can't believe how quiet the tractor is.

That'll keep ya busy for a long while Tim, Have a great day out there..Take care all..
That's fun work. I love being on my tractor. At the end of the day all the work is enjoyable to look at and admire.

That can happen pretty quick
Four in one bucket!
Great tractor🚜
Good snake boots..priceless

I also surely wish I could sharpen a chainsaw that darn good🤣
I busted one out of my cab tractor several years ago mowing and it was expensive
Good goals. Lol

i have a bushhog and used it some, its fun, now i wish i had more land to mow.
Good afternoon. $600 is cheap. Compared to a foot doctor office visit time off work etc. But people call me Goofy. You'll have that.
Great job enjoyed that, all ways nice to get out and bush hog very relaxing!!!!
No telling what that old oak has seen. May have been a shade tree for generations passed or just a valued landmark.
tim supposed say HEY COW MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO LOL
Just get in there with the tiller and plant a green field
How many times have you stirred up honey bees? I had a bad experience once doing exactly what you are doing.
Hey just want your thoughts on a cab vs open cab. I’m looking at a JD 4 series I see you have an open do you like it or would you rather a cab
Relaxing ride!
Great video. Love the brush hogging videos.
Nice tractor! 👍
Wonderful. How long did it take to get the acres cut? Beautiful long chips from the saw, what does it take to get those nice long chips? Thanks
I was there about 6 hours but on and off the tractor a good bit.
Pretty cool job Tim Napa mike
Awesome video Tim. Looks like a really nice place to hunt. Was there any civil war activity on your property. I would be detecting around that big red oak. Lol
Great video today Tim
Red tree cutter. Cousin to Jason's brown tree cutter.
Lol very true!
Nice!!!

My top flexes right behind where it pins on the bushhog.

28’ and it doesn’t hang off the back.
Man, i love bushhogging. That looked like fun to me. I enjoyed that. Thanks for taking us along
Curious why you didn’t put the grapple on instead of the bucket?
I knew I was going to have to cross the deep washout towards the end of the video and needed the bucket.
How do you like the power reverser vs hydrostat?
Does it got fish in that pond and my tractor comes with all three attachments
Awesome video Tim looks like some good hunting land . Have you ever hunted it before
Every time I’d do some hogging the hawks would come around and scarf up the snakes or other varmints. But mostly snakes. Fly in from nowhere and grab one.
Do you have to worry about snakes in the trees?
Have you considered a Lane Shark to help clear those trails?. I'm thinking about investing in one for doing exactly this type clearing.
I am going to end up getting a bushhog to go on my mini excavator. I haven’t messed with a land shark yet
What makes the whine when backing? Mower deck running backwards?
The tractor is in 4x4
What do you have in those rear tractor tires? Air? Water?
Only air but I do have 2 wheel weights stacked on each side
Tim do you ever sit still? Love the videos man need to make some more cat fishing videos.
You almost mite need a brown tree cutter. 👍
ya got a regular jungle to knock down there driver!
What’s your favorite tractor implement?
I got a question I just picked up a 5075e and my 3 point will only come up with the bucket
Make sure ur hydraulic levers that work the remotes on the back of the tractor are not in the float mode.
It does it in float mode and out of float mode
If it’s new, let the dealer have a look at it.
@@cotontop3 thanks for the advice man I’ve been watching you videos for 3 years now keep doing what your doing 👍
How come the pto wasn't moving
That’s a protective cover over the shaft.
i would love to do this
You need to get a brown tree cutter like Hollis farms has
We have 2 tigercats if it gets too bad lol
😁😁😁 new sub binge watching.keep it up bro.
Thank you Billy!
I got a 3025e John deer tractor
I'll take fixing swing motor hydro hoses any damn day over any freaking snake. Get a cab mad man haha
What’s the plan for this property?
Grow trees and hunt deer
6 or 7 foot mower?
It’s a 7’
where's part 2
New subscriber here! thanks letsdig18 !
Thank you Ryan, I appreciate it!
Do you just spray glyphosate or hit it with some remedy also?
And a hint of diesel 😎
@@cotontop3 If you use water, a little Dawn dishwashing liquid mixed in works too.
Tim quick question ever consider a log grapple on that tractor?
Yeah I’d like to have one

I’ve hit them many times with the mower and didn’t see them till later.
Get you a 12 foot hog
