Sorry for pausing and talking so much. I just like to share my thoughts. I read all your comments and I appreciate the feedback but a lot of people are really rude so sometimes I do not feel like doing this at all BUT I do like learning about Australia and it is my dream country so I will continue.
Hon, no one is being rude. Us Aussies are very honest people, and are telling you how we feel. If you're going to have a reaction channel on YT, then you have to expect it. I have visited your channel 5 or 6 times now, and each time I've read all the comments, and you've been told these things over and over again, but you're not listening to your audience and changing your ways. So if you're not going to listen, take it on board, then improve what you're doing, then you can't expect your audience to stay. NO ONE is going out of their way to insult you or bring you down, they're telling you the truth so it gives you the chance to correct your mistakes. Good luck with it all
I get that you're reacting which obviously requires some ....well, reactions.... but I think pulling up every 10 or 20 seconds might be a little excessive. Have a look at Rob Squad Reactions or The Wolf Hunterz or Shawn Salvadori for comparison.
@user-gl8wx1ix8uGet over yourself mate!. Go and count up all the comments saying exactly the same thing, before making such a ridiculous and pathetic comment about other people's opinions. If it was just 1 or 2 people making the same comment, you might've had a point, but it's dozens of us, not just on this video, but every video. So get off your pedestal and get back down to earth, like the rest of us
I saw John Farnham at a concert in Adelaide in South Australia. This was the song he finished with. Everyone was on their feet singing along, to the point where we almost drowned out John. And I can't sing to save my life. But that didn't stop me.
In 2022, John had an operation for oral cancer, which required a large jaw reconstruction. He is an awesome singer, and this song " The Voice " must be the best that has come out of Australia. We love John and wish him the best. Thanks for checking him out.
Fran, just remember, you are running a reaction channel. If people want to actually listen to the song, leave a link for them to go to listen to the to the song in your description. By the way, they always wanted the bagpipes in the song. So much so that, when they realised that the bagpipes only plays in the key of "f" they changed the key of the song from "g" to "f".😊
I was smiling the entire video. Thank you for your honest reaction it was great…. Australia absolutely loves Venezuela and all of its beautiful people 🇦🇺 ❤ 🇻🇪
I thought this was a brilliant reaction. You actually paid attention to every aspect of the performance and trying to understand what was going on. A true first time reaction to a new artist and a journey of discovery. Going from thinking it was going to be about a classical music piece to realising... nope it's a great singer. This is what happens when an Aussie Legend and his band performs his most famous song with a full symphony orchestra backing him up. It's a powerful song with a powerful message sung by a powerful singer. It is an Anthem here in Australia 🇦🇺 which has stood the test of time for close on 30 years and is still as popular today. It's one song that has dropped in and out of our musoc charts for decades. And John Farnham has been the darling of the Aussie music industry since he began as a teenager in the 60's. He has a huge fan base of very protective and loyal followers. ❤ If you want to check some other popular performances from the same concert I'm pretty sure you'll be blown away. Look for Help or It's a Long Way to the Top❤❤
Dear Venezuelan girl, I started playing your video and was listening to the point where you started to play this old video which I know so well. I love the fact that you were getting this oh so deliciously wrong. I am right now, while texting this comment to you, anticipating your reaction to what is about to happen. Thank you for this lovely gift to my afternoon. I will now unpause your video as I post this to you.
May I suggest that you only pause a couple of times and then do a wrap up at the end. John is the G.O.A.T. and sing any genre. If you research John and this song, you'll read about its history and what it means to Autralians and to so many other people around the world - thanks to TH-cam. He is a wonderful person and is Australias favourite son. 😍
John is a sweet, lovely, down-to-earth guy. he has 2 unoficial titles in Australia Australias favourite son and the man every mother wishes her daughter will marry
I know this is a reaction video and all, but how can you get a true sense of a song when you're pausing it every 10 seconds? You're stopping constantly to express every thought that pops into your head, so much so that come the end of the song you've really got nothing further to say. IMO it would make your videos far more watchable if you paused less often and left most of your thoughts and commentary till the end - it might help to avoid pausing so often by reacting in non-verbal ways (e.g. facial expressions, hand gestures, dancing in your seat, etc). Also, you can always go back to parts of the song after an initial listen through if there's something in particular that you want to hear again or highlight. Anyway, this is meant simply as some friendly constructive feedback. Thanks and keep the reactions coming.
Loved your reaction, you actually listened and watched what was going on, I hope you do more, this Concert was in1989, the song 'You're the Voice' was released 3 years earlier (but not with an Orchestra ) so yes, everyone at the concert knew it, It was John's idea to add the bagpipes to the song, - ( John is a Londoner by birth, family immigrated to Australia when John was about 10 - now a much loved Australian) - other songs to do- HELP and IT'S A LONG WAY TO THE TOP from this same concert, - and then there is a whole big list of songs you can do, - pop, rock, soul, opera, musicals, you name it - he can sing it
Sorry, but far too many pauses and way too much talking every couple of seconds for me. I want to hear the song, and talking maybe twice, not stop start stop start - no one can even listen to a few lines before you interrupt again, which is most annoying. I'm out
I had the feeling that my comments may have been a bit off key mate. I looked at a lot of the comments and realized I was being a smart arsed lump of you know what. Keep on goin mate. ❤❤❤
I was there … awesome concert 😎 He became famous in the late 60s, very big in the early 70s and by the 80s sort of ‘disappeared’. Then he released this song around the mid-80s and blew away ALL the records !! They actually changed the original ‘key’ of the song so they could use bagpipes. Since he has an all-powerful voice, they decided to do a series of concerts with an 80 piece orchestra, instead of a ‘normal’ concert with 6 or so band members. There are other videos of him singing… you won’t be disappointed 😊
John Farnham is an English born Australian artist. It was at John's insistence that the bagpipes were used in the song, I've heard other performances where they used a keytar in place of the bagpipes; it's not the same, it should always be bagpipes.
Like others have said, maybe a bit too much pausing, the comments you made were all great and perceptive maybe just do a pause halfway through the video with comments so that you can truly enjoy and appreciate the flow of the song 👍🏻
The big drum is called a Bass Drum. Every orchestra and brass band has them. It was originally a military instrument in armies all over the world, so not just Scottish. Your views from a Venezuelan perspective were interesting, but I have to say, in the nicest possible way, that the number of pauses in the first 30 seconds were a little excessive, and made it harder for you to understand the song at that point. I look forward to your next video, though. 😀
No pudiera estar más de acuerdo, sus pausas son demasiado reiteradas... es mejor la calidad que la cantidad. No obstante,se agradece su esfuerzo. Un saludo.
I love your enthusiasm for Australia, but try a pause during the natural pauses in thd vidoes to make your comments in the natural breaks in the videos. I think you would get more out of it if you give some more time between your pauses, I believe you miss too much. I wish you all the very best.
Just some advice with music videos. If you havnt herd a song before listen to it but a pause once or twice is fine and also TH-cam wont give you a mark on your name. If your a person who's a professional and keep pausing it to explain the performance thats fine. Not being rude or as such just trying to help you out become better at it. Think of the comments are the teacher speaking to you and your the student taking it all in. Youll get there just keep working on it. Your doing ok just need to polish up on some things.👍
As others have commented, too much pausing and interrupting to keep the flow of the music, also too much verbosity. I wish you well and do intend this to be constructive criticism, I won't be subscribing based on this reaction but I wish you well. I suggest that you try to keep thoughts in your head longer preventing pausing so often, I think you'll have more audience retention, you're reacting to music but the flow of the lyrics and music gets lost with frequent stopping and starting. This can be off-putting to a viewer whom know's the song, that's why that viewer clicked play in the first place.
Originally, this song was written for a community's protest in the UK. With the music video, however, it soon became an empowering song about stopping domestic violence.
Reacting is fine ... over-reacting can spoil the experience ... And ur welcome to listen to the lyrics .... u seem to be have taken off-guard by whats happening in this vid. Good luck with ur reactions
This comment is to try to help you and is not a criticism, what you have to understand is 95% of the people who have clicked on this are very familiar with the song, and John Farnham (pronounced Farnum) as it was a world wide hit, so giving a running commentary on what every one can see for them selves will not help grow your channel, people watch reactors for there opinion the performance
🤗You could has enjoyed 🙏it more if you didn’t 🙏pause so much!🤗🫶After the bagpipes 🫶he tosses the microphone 🎤 stand and catches it!👍💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋
Good grief!! Shut up and listen. Just listen, and then ramble on. I'm happy to contribute one view to your reaction, but seriously, it was sooo painful with you stopping sooo often.
Sorry but you pause too much and it’s irritating to watch. Just listen and reacting somewhere in the middle and again at the end. John is a bloody legend here Australia and it’s this song is anthem and has been for nearly 37 years it never gets old. 🧐🤷♀️🇦🇺
Sorry but I agree with many of the comments. Too many pauses. Perhaps write notes down and stop once or twice throughout the song. Stopping every few seconds really upsets the flow and makes your reaction less enjoyable to watch. Keep trying love. Please listen to the feedback given.
Good grief lady can you not just sit there and enjoy the performance 15 stops befor he even gets through the first line of the song. Apprecitate you reacting to John Farnham pronounced "Farn em' And that huge instrument is called a DRUM lol John had his own band and backing singers with the addition of The Orchestra...Sorry to be a little frustrated here but theres a need to allow a little flow before ou stop.
Sorry seems like a nice lady but far to much pausing and talking for me had to stop watching the reaction which i bever do. Bit to much for me sorry just my veiw.

Don't let the few rude ones put you off. I think you can block them. Keep doing what you enjoy. We all have to start somewhere. 😍
It's all good. It's all trial and error 😀

Is heart breaking and and a wake up to personal mortality.
@NannaTina Saw him yesterday. He's looking pretty good considering. He has had a lot of work done
You are way off. John is the voice of Australia. Watch “help” from the same concert

John also threw the microphone in the air and caught it before he threw it down the stage. He is always playing with the microphone and its stand.
May I suggest that you only pause a couple of times and then do a wrap up at the end. John is the G.O.A.T. and sing any genre. it's not called a reaction video for nothing dude give her a break come on geez

No.1 in Australia,Sweden and West Germany, No.3 in Ireland and Switzerland, No. 6 in Austria and the UK. And seriously - pause less.
Sorry, but far too many pauses and way too much talking every couple of seconds for me. I want to hear the song, and talking maybe twice, not stop start stop start - no one can even listen to a few lines before you interrupt again, which is most annoying. I'm out
You can pause and talk as much as you like. Ignore all the hater’s you are a beautiful soul 😊
Sorry but way to much pausing for me.
Cya
Me to
Yes me to, to much talking for me. Gave up watching the reaction never normally happens with John.
No, The bagpipes were there just for their sound and also for the reaction which no one would expect and it works every time even to this day!
Mr Farnham is a great backup singer to your reaction talking voice.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Yep
Ignore all the negative rude comments. Your reaction was honest and beautiful, like a small child discovering something new for the very first time.
I had the feeling that my comments may have been a bit off key mate. I looked at a lot of the comments and realized I was being a smart arsed lump of you know what. Keep on goin mate. ❤❤❤
You're doing great and I enjoy hearing what you have to say about the video and Australia 🦘🐨
Too much talking!

Really! Crikey. Shush. Just listen first.
Beautiful.
You need to check out John's version of The Beatles classic song Help from this same concert, this will give a greater understanding of his voice.
John Farnham is an English born Australian artist. It was at John's insistence that the bagpipes were used in the song, I've heard other performances where they used a keytar in place of the bagpipes; it's not the same, it should always be bagpipes.
He sang two words and you stopped. Listen to the song and then comment.
Like others have said, maybe a bit too much pausing, the comments you made were all great and perceptive maybe just do a pause halfway through the video with comments so that you can truly enjoy and appreciate the flow of the song 👍🏻
I'm amazed at how "off" you are on Aussie videos.
Just wow
You should listen all the way through with out stopping all the time then you will get the full benefit.

You need to stop talking and listen to the song before you comment on it!, then make an informed comment! jmo!
You seem like a lovely young lady, but your videos are unwatchable. I tried to give you a go but, it's way too much pausing and talking for me
please miss toooo much stoppy starty , its not a commentary channel its a reaction channel you are missing the point !
No pudiera estar más de acuerdo, sus pausas son demasiado reiteradas...
es mejor la calidad que la cantidad.
No obstante,se agradece su esfuerzo.
Un saludo.
Check out “help” live with this same concert
You are about to have your socks blown off!😊
Sorry
Goodbye
Too many pauses don't have 20 minutes for someone who has obviously lived under a rock
you sir can crawl back under your rock if you dont like reactors talkin in a reaction video wtf are you doin watchin reaction videos
The first instrument that you saw being played is a Bass Drum.
Do you understand music? You pause in the middle of phrases. Interesting.
Comment after the video, PLEASE
BOOM
I love your enthusiasm for Australia, but try a pause during the natural pauses in thd vidoes to make your comments in the natural breaks in the videos. I think you would get more out of it if you give some more time between your pauses, I believe you miss too much. I wish you all the very best.
I AM SO SORRY THAT YOU HAVE BEEN THE BRUNT OF CRITICISM. MANY PEOPLE IN THE FREE WORLD HAVE NO IDEA OF THE OPPRESSION IN VENEZUELA.
Just some advice with music videos. If you havnt herd a song before listen to it but a pause once or twice is fine and also TH-cam wont give you a mark on your name.
If your a person who's a professional and keep pausing it to explain the performance thats fine.

Originally, this song was written for a community's protest in the UK. With the music video, however, it soon became an empowering song about stopping domestic violence.
This is an anti war anthem. 😳 😊
STOP TALKING TO MUCH I WANT TO HEAR THE SONG NOT HEAR AND SEE YOU PAUSE THE VIDEO IT IS VERY ANNOYING
If you want to hear the song then just watch to the original video
it's called a reaction video ffs go listen to the full song if you want to hear it uninterrupted otherwise stfu
The music volume is VERY low. Too hard to hear.
Reacting is fine ... over-reacting can spoil the experience ...
And ur welcome to listen to the lyrics .... u seem to be have taken off-guard by whats happening in this vid.
Good luck with ur reactions
ok, i like the fact that you like the song but kind of ruins it with so many pauses and talking. some is good but, give it more time
How can you enjoy a new piece of music when you stop it 87 times in one song? Unwatchable.
Watch the original not a reaction if you want nonstop it's a reaction and her reaction, simple 😎
We're a happy team at Hawthorne !!😊
Shut up letter play😢
Shame you had to pause the video so much. Just let it run then comment.

😅😂😅
I’m usually on the sides of the reactors..but really that was way too much “reacting” let’s actually hear the bloody song.
You are going to have to listen to this again. Next time just listening, not talking through it. In Australia, this is a national anti war anthem.
Way to many interruptions..skip
Again..a vocalist who destroyed an amazing song. Well done.
You talk to much
Listen first then comeno
No offence honey but if you want to be a good speaker on a place like TH-cam work on dropping the “Umms”.
True.
Lady if you actually stopped talking and speaking over the clip, I might have watched until the end.
Good grief!! Shut up and listen. Just listen, and then ramble on. I'm happy to contribute one view to your reaction, but seriously, it was sooo painful with you stopping sooo often.
Please listen and stop talking while John is singing. Also do your research. Google is so handy.
bass drum
Your so far off! And please stop interrupting every 5 seconds, there called timpani drums, it's Australia's unofficial anthem!
Too much stopping.
Sorry but you pause too much and it’s irritating to watch. Just listen and reacting somewhere in the middle and again at the end. John is a bloody legend here Australia and it’s this song is anthem and has been for nearly 37 years it never gets old. 🧐🤷♀️🇦🇺
What planet do you live on?
you talk toko much , just listen to the song then speak i turned this off half way through ,
Sorry but I agree with many of the comments. Too many pauses. Perhaps write notes down and stop once or twice throughout the song. Stopping every few seconds really upsets the flow and makes your reaction less enjoyable to watch. Keep trying love. Please listen to the feedback given.
You just have no idea. Do your research. Please do better
you talk WAY to much!!!!! Not pleasent to watch. 😖
Youre cute... but you talk too much 🙂
Gosh you talk alot....
Another butchered reaction..shame.
John Farnham is the singer not in charge of conducting the Orchestra its not classical at all.
Talking too much
your voice is the boss on this video it should be the opposite , hear the song
Sorry seems like a nice lady but far to much pausing and talking for me had to stop watching the reaction which i bever do. Bit to much for me sorry just my veiw.
Will you shut up and listen to the song
Sorry watch some other reactions, get the gist
First time seeing one of your reactions, but sorry, I gave up watching at bagpipes time. It's okay to stop during the song once or twice to give a progressive reaction (and also to dodge copyright strikes from TH-cam) before giving a comprehensive reaction afterwards, but it's _exasperating_ when a reviewer stops the video every few seconds. You're not even giving yourself a chance to get into the groove of the song. I gather from the comments that many viewers have made this point to you time and again, but obviously to no effect, so I probably won't bother clicking on any more of your reactions. Good luck with your learning experience.
