when he said they never raced in group B, it means Ari vatanen did not get his body back to normal fast enough because group B was ended so early, however, he dominated in group A!

timo salonen was maybe the most chilled and one of fastest drivers... sometimes if there was straight road long enough he asked co-pilot to fire up a cigarette for him :D

group B era was only 4 years.. 3/4 of the group B era world champions were FINNISH, and after that finns more likely started to dominate in rally. of course a lot of wins and champions came earlier too :)

Omg all these posts about 51g crashes.!!! Facts the human body can not, thats CAN NOT survive G forces exceeding 10G, its impossible..!!! Most fighter jet pilots experience G forces up to 9.5G and even thats close to black out.!! Remember, we are made out of 90% water and 10% bone. If a human being was put through even 20G, their body would be pulverised by the pressure.!!! Ok my rant and physics lesson over for today.!!!

G force is the gravity. When we talk about 51G crash, that means, your body is going through your 51 times your bodyweight. So for example when you're 50 kgs 50G means you have to bear a 50*50=2500 kgs of weight for a moment.

Yeah it's sad that they had to show Bianchi's accident, as the others were all non-fatal. The track conditions were extremely wet, and he lost grip and went off on that corner. Sadly he never recovered from his injury and died in hospital a few months later. He was a promising young driver and may have gone on to race for ferrari, as his god son or nephew (not sure which) Charles LeClerc did, a few years later. RiP Jules.

1994 san marino has bad news all over, if rubens had died friday this could have been the first racing event with 3 deaths on 3 different days (saturday ratzenberger, sunday senna) also ratzenbergers was about 300g so yeah... I would suggest kenny bräcks crash (highest survived G on 260 or sth)

Well he followed the rules, because you dont want to be the one who put out a safety car, who brings the gaps between the cars down and changes the result. Plus it rained so its slippy specially in a car with 1000 horsepowers, even the best Aero wont help you in heavy rain, even tho the 2014 Cars where a handfull to drive even when its dry. But the rule got changed, the virtual safety car became a thing, when it comes out than everybody gets a time shown on there steering wheel and they cant drive faster than that delta time. Another rule got changed and that was the rule that when another car or truck needs to come out to the track to remove a f1 car from the track, then you must now bring out the safety car, who brings the cars together and drives, well it Drives pretty much full speed around the track but ofc a safety car even if it is a gt3 merc is alot slower than an f1 car so yeah they need to bring that out.

The last incident was the final nail to the coffin regarding the decision of the halo/aero screen implementation in Formula 1 and Formula Indy respectively. The halo is the head protection you see in modern F1 cars, what makes them looking like a flip-flop but way safer than before. The halo is the reason that Grosjean didn’t die in the fireball accident since his head would be severed by the guardrail. He was one of the drivers that thought the halo thing was bullshit and now he is very appreciated by its existence.

It was due to jules bianchi Crash that the halo was introduced to the car to protect the drivers head. If this was not introduced, grojean would have died also

Some may find the below comment to be shocking. No it's not about the last crash which ended Group B, going into more detail than mentioned in the video would be too much. Edited to provide above disclaimer. Quite a few spectators lost fingers or even limbs due to reaching out to touch the cars as they screamed past them, some of the fingers were found to be stuck in the rear parts of the rally cars after the races.

Commenting over videos is okey and is why ppl would watch this but if u gonna keep doing so many of these short interuptions then plz just pause after abit instead. That crash that caused the car to run into the crowd is a perfect example. Yes u heard that about 30 ppl were injured but u failed to hear that several also got killed in that crash becouse u kept talking over it.
