hi! i recently bought a pack of ten to test out, and after trying them i immediately fell in love with them! i have something around 15 different hmx switches, but the snow crashes had noticeably less switches with leaf ping and spring ping. it was also lower pitched than all of the ones i have, and the sound is quieter too which is great for not annoying anyone nearby. congratulations on the switch! could i ask why you named it the snow crashes?
@@v_1922 I’m so glad that you like them ❤️ Back before we had blue screens, when computers crashed they would have that staticky black and white screen. It was referred to as a snow crash! The idea behind the name is something like: before we had blue screens, we had snow crashes. Before we had long pole switches with all sorts of different plastics, we had full travel switches with POM stems and PA66 nylon housings
Lately I've been looking to get HMX switches, so far have settled on HMX Gachapongs for their lower/deeper sound, however, almost none of the HMX offerings are my perfect weight. And these are exactly what I wanted! Edit: do you know if any EU vendors will have these?
@@ievaday nice! They are definitely much different than the typical high pitched sharp clack HMX switches are known for. Unfortunately there are no EU based vendors for the first round. Only SEA based vendors and Unikeys. This was an oversight on my part, I am very sorry
It's comparable. Mx blacks were the inspiration for the switch. In my opinion, stock Snow Crash is much smoother and more enjoyable to type on than stock mx blacks.
@@keebscape Thanks, just received a batch of these. Very smooth switches, not as high pitched as I expected, which is good, and they're not as fatiguing to type on as previous HMX switches I tried.
Alphas are so clean! Congratulations 🎉
@@Kaas_Online thank you, my friend!
Those alphas thock. There's almost an echo that makes me excited for the next keystroke! Thanks for the update and congrats on the 1k subs!!!
Heyyy thanks so much Jake!!
Alphas are amazing!
I have 100 on the way, thanks for the new hmx hotness.
@@Aijames Ayy thank you sir!
Waiting for these to arrive in Indonesia, then Ill probably get them for my upcoming Krush
IT'S ACTUALLY COMING IN A ABOUT A WEEK WOOO
This is so sick!
hmx full travel product is the strategy of this year I guess ^^. I would put this on the must-try switch this year.
@@ngthang2003 ❤️😁
Fucking mint!

My go to guy for switch sound test. Love that you don't use foamed up boards.
Also, would you be looking at Gateron Summertime V2's any time soon?
@@poemu6781 Ayy thanks so much for the kind words!
I don’t have any yet, but I might snag some the next time I pick up switches!

@@keebscape that's alright and thanks! I will order them via Unikeys
Dude....I picked up 340 of these bad boys from Unikeys literally about an hour ago.....
@@_TheDailyShit_ oh damn haha well I hope you like them 😁
can you compare this with mx black?

not a fan of the spacebar. i think its interesting to compare it with gateron snow rabbit
How does the bottom out compare to something like gat oil kings?
Snow Crash are definitely higher pitched than the Oil Kings
