I’ve had two cars tinted with 3M Crystalline 50% and you feel absolutely no heat through the windows on the hottest days. Absolutely the best and I am sure the Ceramic is not far behind. Just got a new Mazda 3 hatch premium and will be going 3M with that too. Excellent products.
@@allglasstinting it may be more popular but it is not as effective at blocking UV and heat as Crystalline is. You can also use a much lighter shade of Crystalline than most any other to achieve the same or better results. It’s more expensive but some would say worth it. I would be happy with either one as long as they are a 3M film.
i got an xpel xr plus 70 on my windshield. its amazing. but i hate the darkness at night. i wish 3ms 90 clear film could perform on par with the xr plus. i emailed xpel and they said technology wont let them make anything lighter
@@allglasstinting yes. You can’t even tell from the outside. Looks like a normal windshield. It’s just when I roll down the side windows, you can clearly tell the outside world is a tad bit brighter than what the windshield shows
@@allglasstinting I wish I could find a good performing 90. It’s fine on clear nights, but when driving at highway speeds in the rain at night, it’s kind of terrifying. Getting as much light in as possible would be ideal
just had my 3M ceramic IR35 installed. So good. the heat drastically lowered when compared to my “hybrid nano ceramic” branded-generic China made film Wished I have done the 3M from the start. but great learning experience and will definitely stick to 3M once again
Of the hundreds of cars we have done with the new CIR no complaints so far. I have CIR 30 on my doors and CIR 50 on my windshield on my personal vehicle and not seen it.
I guess to me the question is how noticeable is 12 BTU's when comparing the two and if that price difference justifies it. Your experiment: 3M IR 30 is darker film as well compared to the Suntek CIR 20. Could be the difference? The VLT and the TSER are very close to each other tho. 3M does have better TSER #'s.
3M IR30 is not darker. Higher the number, the lighter it is. Higher the number, means more light passes through, hence, why "limo tint" is usually 5% or lower.
@@allglasstinting thank you for the info. I'll be travelling across the u.s. in a 1999 Cadillac escalade and I want a really good (cuz I can't afford the best) window tint to fight the heat thus making the AC more effective.
@@allglasstinting No no. For example, plastic items exposed to sunlight will react. After all, window film also contains chemicals. Can any negative effects occur when left under the hot sun?

Can you put this on the front windscreen as well?
Awesome videos. wish i was back in FL I would drive to you and have all my cars done by you sir.

70% is very light film. Most people don’t notice it unless you point it out. Are you sure you got 70% VLT?

How does 3M compare to solar guard ceramic?
Does the cir have any low angle haze ? My gf car has cxp line from suntek and has that horrible milky cloudy haze at certain angles hate it.

No, there’s no Dye. Usually film that change color are dyed films.

the suntek looks much darker than 30%
It is 20%
Yeah, but who’s gonna pay $1000 to gain 10% benefit
Who's charging 1000.00 for 3M Ceramic? Crystalline, maybe, but no Ceramic. Our ceramic cost half of what Crystalline does.
@veryslyfox the films in the video are 3M cmir 30 vs suntek cir 20. The 3M 30 out performed the suntek 20
Its not 1000bucks its 399$ for 3m ceramic ir.

Where do you live? Suntek Ceramic is a lot less to buy “as a dealer” than 3M ceramic. FX PM is almost the least expensive film for us to buy.
