  • This will also work on many other makes and models like Chevy, Ford, dodge, Toyota, etc.
    Must have mechanic tools ⬇️

    Thank you for the video. You saved me $400 the dealer wanted. I found that by cranking the steering all the way to one side I was able to do it without raising the car or removing the wheel.

    Also. I learned through fellow renegade owners on FB. The MOOG. Is 1/4” longer than the stock ones. That’s why it shows as incompatible on Amazon. Can’t beat $16 each on Amazon. Same ones are $50 each at the auto stores.

    I'm going to be doing this in a few days -- im getting MOOG k750795 // I have read on numerous forums- tighten till snug while its up off the tires- then after you got tires back and its on the ground re-tighten -- then after a few days of driving it and letting things settle- tighten once again

    My wife's 2016 renny needs the left front done , ill be doing it tomorrow , I think the trick with the new one not lining up is you need to jack it up a bit higher under the strut and it will help next time just so you don't have to force it in and potentially damage the new link ...great 👍 video thanks for your help

    I've had my 2017 Renegade for 2 years. The seat bar links were faulty when I purchased and I got them done under warranty. Now 2 years later they're being replaced again. Is that normal?

    • @603Mechanicvids
      @603Mechanicvids  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      2 years seems to soon to me but depending on the road conditions you have to drive on that will make a big difference on how long they last. I would recommend finding a better quality part then the oem ones

    The dealer just charged me over $450.00 to do this. They stated they had to remove the whole bumper in order to replace the right-side sway bar link only. Does the bumper have to be removed to replace the sway bar link?

    What about the rear links? Everything seems stable. Although I don't have a jack to relieve tension off of the suspension. I was told it was my left strut, causing a clunk over small bumps. Even though the sound is coming from the right. Is it a link or a strut problem?

    • @603Mechanicvids
      @603Mechanicvids  ปีที่แล้ว

      I'll have to make a video on the rears asap. its hard to say over the internet, I would find a jack so you can check both of them out. I'd check both sides as well
