@Swiftjar Here's a change you missed regarding your "favorite" part - the Starting Banner.
The letters spelling "Mario Kart, now have a colorful & shiny iridescent effect / look, rather than simply one color.
I like that it came back. It was one of the corses i really wanted because I never played 7. Only Wii and 8. I personally think it is better than before, but the fact that wii rainbow road made it still makes this corse being added not as special to me. Great video BTW!
5:35 Here's something you failed to mention. The final turn in Rosa's Ice World features a ramp going across the deep icy chasm. Having played MK7 and studying the gameplay footage from Tour in this video, this shortcut ramp was added exclusively to Mario Kart 8's remaster.

When the reveal came out, i was angry at it because Pipeline is seemingly cut for Rosalina's Ice World now but seeing all the upgrade the track received and the addition of half pipes on the track will maybe make me enjoy the track !!
I was definitely surprised by this track being revealed, but it was a pleasant surprise because I like it a lot. I genuinely think Wave 6 has bangers left right and centre
Wave 6 isn't pulling any punches! Rosalina's Ice World is one of the best courses from 7. It's a nice final winter course for the year!

Rosalina’s Ice World was such a big surprise and, Piranha Plant Pipeline being cut in its favor aside, it was a pleasant one as it's always been a great track in my opinion and all the changes in 8 Deluxe make it better than ever!
This should be Odyssey Central. He loves this character

People who think Rosalina’s Ice World replaced Piranha Plant Pipeline, no Daisy Circuit did.
From all trackis from Wave 6, Rosaline Ice World is my favorite not only as a Rosalina main, but for all the details that have.
It's funny, I predicted this track ad the mystery track on Swiftcafe,while the majority was predicting Daisy Circuit. How the tables have turned. I like the track and I'm happy it got in over pipeline,which likely didn't play well in 8dx. The spiny cup is shaping up to be the best cup in the game. Can't wait to finally play wave 6. I'm so glad we have this track! Never played it before but it looks fun! I don't think pipeline would have been too good but we are probably gonna see it sometime.
It looks more like Mario Galaxy now, than just an ice world with little reference

I am SUPER freaking hyped to race on Rosalina’s Ice World again! It was my favorite from Mario Kart 7, and Rosalina is my second favorite Nintendo princess. (Just behind Daisy)
I like they made the posts holding the banner resemble Rosalina's wand

This was definitely a course I didn’t really care about before but the atmosphere of the update seems absolutely enchanting, super excited to play it!

I realised this is the first time we can touch penguins in this game swimming underwater like there were 2 in GBA snow land but you know who ☁️🙂 wouldn't let us access them swimming
Neat to see a MK7 track returning, since we werent supposed to get any in the 2023 era of the pass. Underrated track. I wish the same happened with the N64 tracks.

I didnt expect this track. Still an amazing one.
Really excited for the halfpipes in this course. We didn't actually see the transition between the first segment and the split water/ice segment, so I wonder if they put halfpipes there as well. Would be really cool, since if that is the case, you could use the halfpipes to take the upper route on each lap if you are skilled enough to land it.
What did I tell ya? I told ya that you cannot fully trust datamines and other rumors online & wait until Nintendo OFFICIALLY announces it.
I agree with you. However, people's predictions based on the data mines were fairly accurate. So most courses were known about ahead of time and only a few caught people by surprise.

I have a question when you get onto the tour segment of videos like these why do other people do it?
I want to try something, what courses does everyone think would’ve been added if the Tour City tracks were not added, you can only pick tracks that were in Tour and try to include Piranha Plant Pipeline if possible
At least one GBA Circuit and at least two Mushroom Cup 3DS tracks.
(Aka what it should’ve been) lol jk there are some good city tracks (I’m looking at you, Athens and Singapore)

Even though Rosalina ice world is underrated and Nintendo just shoves Luigi right out of the way poor Luigi with none of his track in the BCP and my guess is Mario gets pay back on Luigi & for his tracks always a first beginner track in MK64,MKDD,MKW or a last track of a beginner nitro or retro like in MKDS & MK7. And gba Luigi circuit does not count at all as a beginner track.
Can you do Piranha Plant Cove next?
In the 3DS section, you forgot to mention that it debuted in Mario Kart 7 back in 2011, and is presented as the second race of the Special Cup; in the MK8DX section, you forgot to mention that it is the second course of the Spiny Cup.

I really hope Nintendo can work their magic like they did with Rock Rock Mountain/Alpine Pass. I HATED that track on the 3DS, and Rosalina's Ice World is no different. Even though I still hate RRM/AP on the 3DS, for some reason I love it on the Switch. I hope Nintendo can fix such a boring track with bad music. The only thing RIW has going for it is the Mario Galaxy references, and they don't even change the gameplay. Please Nintendo!

Easily my least favorite course this pass, there were far better courses to pick from tbh 🤷
I'm not the biggest fan of this track tbh, there's so many other Mk7 tracks that are better, (Shy guy bazaar, wario shipyard, both wuhu island tracks, heck, even mk7 bowser castle would be nice even though we already got one this wave) I also think we have a good ice track with GCN sherbert land so we don't really need another one
