I love the simplicity of the taillight design. Far better than changing the headlight or even replacing a headlight bulb. That hole behind the taillight is a perfect space for rust to start. On my collector cars I used to spray transmission fluid with a regular spray bottle into spots like that. Transmission fluid new or even used is one of the best rust neutralizers and preventative. Adding a bit of PB blaster to the mixture has proven to work well for others.
