George and Martha’s 1937 Chevy Master Deluxe Restoration

- As a 30 year anniversary gift for Diane and Floyd, The whole family restored Diane’s father’s treasured 1937 Chevy Master Deluxe. Diane's father and mother died days apart due to Covid 19 the year previously. This project took a total of 6 weeks to restore. We completed it just in time for the anniversary party where both Diane and Floyd had no clue what their family was doing for them.
This is a car built with love, It is priceless

I have a 1939 Studebaker like this belong to my grangpa& grandma, grandpa bought it in 1961 ! Fighting M/S last 22 years I can't work on it . one day one of our 2 sons may do something with it , who knows ! 😥
I love old Chevrolets. My dad went to work at the Chevrolet Atlanta Lakewood plant at the end of WW2 in 1947. The plant was built in 1929. I still remember the smell of that plant like it was yesterday. I worked there for a little over a year before the Navy. Thanks, Brothers for restoring the old girl.

I like the fact the whole family and friend's are involved on building this ride makes it more fun and less work on one person. The sanding part is a big help plus everything else to put this ride back on the road.

Many Hands Make For Light Work... On my Old '67 Ford Work Truck I Used a Propane Torch and Putty Knife Cause it had Over Three Layers of Paint on Some Panels.
