Great instructions. You don't have to snap the bulb into place to test the polarity, just make sure both contacts are touching. That'll save having to remove it if backwards. The trunk light and license plate bulbs are wedge lamps. For the trunk lamp get an led that only puts out light downward, any other direction is wasted. For the license plate lamps I used bulbs that light to both the front and side since there is a reflector built into the socket. I would appreciate any other suggestions if there is a better solution.

I would check the fuse first. If all the interior lights is out, it might just be interior fuse that needs to be replaced.

Just did the map lights on my 2008 Honda civic. It was super easy after watching this video. I used some Pilot LED bulbs part # IL-3175W
1:10 pink? looks more like purple

@Joe rendon Are you sure you check the correct fuse? It should be fuse number 22 under the hood. 7.5a. If I were you I would replace the fuse with the spare ones located on the back side of the fuse cover.
Would have been better if you shown how to remove the last two lights

Just installed a 3 inch segment of LEDMO 2538 LED strips into the dome light. And a shorter one into the map lights. Much brighter and cheaper if you know how to solder. Use the 600led version

Warning! When removing my license tag light sockets, one tab on each side snapped off. The sockets went securely back into their holders but I'll probably still buy replacements. Don't let it stop you from doing the switch, just be ready for it. Shame on you Honda for cheaping out on the plastic!

you fogot to mention the trunk light will blow the fuse if you dont unplug the light while you change it , dont pull the light bulb while its on.

I replaced my map lights, dome, trunk and license plate lights on my 06 si with LED's all in an hr. Map and dome worked for 5 mins. Now they dont work. So I put the old ones back in. Those dont work either. Trunk light doesnt work at all. Only ones that work are my license plate lights. I checked the fuses and there all good. So I wanted to see if the lights fried or something so I put them in my friends accord. They work in his car but not mine. Can someone tell me what could of happened? Purchased them on CARID.

Hey I have a 2000 Honda Civid DX Sedan & I'm having a hard time finding the sizes of my interior light bulbs. I want to order all new led's for my entire interior including dash/console lights dome light. Can you tell me when to find this info?

I have an 06 coupe. the liscense plate lights and trunk light dont seem to come out. they seem a part of that plastic piece that holds them.

Mine were really hard to get out just keep trying and don't use a screwdriver bc I broke the housing that way
How come my car has different bulbs? Will that work in the 2015 honda civic?
norlina palo Since your car is 2015, it will be different. You will need to purchase a T10 aka 194 led bulb for all the interior lights.
someone help me please, i changed my dome light to a led and when i open my doors it comes on just like its suppose to but the led light doesn't fully turn off when the doors are shut it dies out but the light is still on and its dim and i even took out the interior light fuse hoping it would reset it self but it didn't how do i get my dome light to fully turn off someone help please 😳

Each led bulb will have a marking on the negative lead so you know exactly how they should be inserted. These leds are exactly the same kind used on my videos.
The color is white with hint of blue (6k color)
