- In this video, I am sharing my way of adding clear elastic in the shoulder seams of my knit fabric garments. Great for stabilizing that seam!
Very easy method, sewing in one step with your serger.
Soon I will share another way to use clear elastic, to gather fabric, really easy and fun !
I would love to hear from you, your opinion or questions, stay in touch.
Happy Sewing!

Very good, clear instructions! Thanks. Lucky you to have a slit for feeding the elastic. Thanks

Thank you , I am happy if you found it a bit useful. Xx
THANK YOU 🙏 Great info .
Looking forward to next video with transparent elastic.
Also maybe u can show us some shirring , best way to do this !
Best regards Carmelia xx
The gathering video is done and with a bit of luck will be uploaded today 😁. The shirring will be the next one, I promise. Life got an ugly turn three weeks ago and put me out of my planning but sewing and making this videos are good for distracting my mind a bit. Thank you for all you supportive comments always. Xx

Thank you! Great video!
Thank you for letting me know that you enjoyed the video! 😊
What are your settings for the differential feed and for the width and length of the stitch. New to all of this. Thanks
Hi Linda, the settings are based on the type of fabric I am using. On this stretchy rayon knit the differential feed was on one step higher then Neutral. The stitch length is somewhere between 2 and 3 and the width 5.5. I hope this helps.
@@CameliasSewingChannel thank you. I am using sweatshirt fleece but I will put that info into my serger workbook.
Where can you buy this product?
Hi Gerda, depending where you live, on Amazon you can find it or any other store /online store that sells sewing supplies should have this elastic. Is called transparent elastic, Framilon or
Framilastic T9. For this application the best width to use is the 6mm .
@@CameliasSewingChannel Thank you.
