In this video about the mahindra Thar, I share with you some genuine limitations of this much hyped car after 20,000 kms use.
Most of us tend to assume a lot of things about the Thar as we get emotionally invested in the idea of owning one, so I try to give you a reality check about this machine so that you don't regret on your purchase.

Very Genuine and unbiased views always wanted honest cons and Not Pros end of the day you'll find lot of videos praising the car
Main con is the DPF(diesel particulate filter) that will clog up at slow speeds and high altitude like leh...most owners will not know about this issue...and hence not reading the owners manual will result in no knowledge of the preventive measures that have been mentioned in the manual...it cost more than 70k...the company as usual will blame the owners...knowing he has not read the manual...BTW which school have u studied from?

Vcross is for family trips.. Thar is for trips with just two passengers..

It is said that 5 Door Thar will be launched at 2023 . Eagerly waiting for that coz current 2 door is not really family friendly.

Around 12-13 in city and 16-17 on highway ,so on a average if you drive equally in city and Highway it's 15
@@yogeshsandhu3522 thanks for answering just wanted an opinion I am a college student and i will mostly drive it in the city do u think it is worth it ; like i watched the video there are some limitations but i srsly love the car the way it is .
For a college student in city..drives and even highway drives are awesome.. issue only comes when you want 3 friends to accompany you.. their comfort on back seat and almost zero luggage space . With just 2 people you can fold rear seats and get luggage space

बहुत सारे लोग हैं, लेकीन सर, थार 165 किलोमीटर 8 किलो गैस मे, मतलब 1 किलो मे 20.625 किलोमीटर, जबकि एक अच्छी सेडान कार भी सिएनजी मे 30 का माइलेज देती हैं, कंपनीं फिटेड सिएनजी मॉडल भी थार से सस्ता मिलता हैं, इतना ही नही अब इलेक्ट्रीक थार भी कंपनी ने लांच कर दी है, और सबसे बड़ी बात की सिएनजी के करीब-करीब पेट्रोल के आस-पास ही हैं, इसलिये अब हमे ये बताये की सिएनजी थार का फायदा क्या हैं?

It good then.. only if you can cat your luggage on a long trip by putting one of the back seats down.. if you cant you will have to install a roof career which doesn’t look good.. for short trips with minimum lugagge it will be fine.. long trips… luggage carrying with 3 .. on board is issue..
