After completing the spiti trip wee are stuck in Manali from past two days..our 4months old Mahindra got towed due to some OBD Check Lmao warning..the car is not able to pull beyond 1500rpm. The Mahindra service center tried to reduce the soot mass for last 2 days and now they are saying ordering a DPF filter is going to take another 7-8days and we will have to wait for it. Also they are saying fault is with us as we didn't do Regen while we didn't get any Regen warning. They are also saying they can't share the data now ,even after 2 days of analysis. DPF filter costs 70k and doesn't come under warranty. Even we were ready to pay just to join office in time, but now they are saying it will take 7-8days to get the DPF filter. Go for any other SUV it is just a good looking car and will make you feel you are driving a powerful car but it is just the feeling but in reality it is unreliable
this is common to most bs6 deisel cars. in high altitude areas especially ladakh, spiti etc. the air is thin so the engine makes a lot of soot and the dpf gets clogged. if you wish to visit ladakh either get a bs4 deisel or drive a petrol car. this is especially true for automatic cars. manual transmission still manages better.
All these things you are tearing down are fitted by the dealership. They are extra accessories and not part of original car. In your case, the problem seems to be that the dealership people did not stick the accessories properly. Can’t blame the manufacturer for that 😉 Mahindra has built a solid car!

Stop adding cheap accessories and defaming the brand and if ur so unhappy with this car sell it. My friend has this vehicle and he has not experienced the issues you mentioned, only god knows how ur using it.

Even I was made to buy the Accessories even though I never wanted those. I payed ₹50000 approximately, got them not to put it on my vehicle, took those outside showroom, put some petrol and burned in front of them, took the delivery.

I like its split rear door,dunno y. I believe the nit bits are kept conventional by Mahindra deliberately. But after they way you describe it they could be a pain in the arse in day to day life. And really, Mahindra needs to review and also do a major quality check on this product. The SUV's massive for the price though. JLR cars from always (even before bought by Tata) have had 10x more quality issue than these Indian cars. I realized that when I had a old Defender (early 2000s) and when I had a 2018 Range Rover Velar. The defender broke down every 5 months and the Velar every 3 months. I believe the nit bits are kept conventional by Mahindra deliberately. But after they way you describe it they could be a pain in the arse in day to day life. And really, Mahindra needs to review and also do a major quality check on this product. The SUV's massive for the price though.

Those UK people get food by working in many indian companies including automobile and many more. If u are living in UK then u must notice that.
JLR cars from always (even before bought by Tata) have had 10x more quality issue than these Indian cars. I realized that when I had a old Defender (early 2000s) and when I had a 2018 Range Rover Velar. The defender broke down every 5 months and the Velar every 3 months. Tata thar issue with the quality of the material they are providing you. And in the top, if JLR was that bad then which stupid buy the same brand car velar? I would suggest to buy Audi.
