I was not expecting this kind of perf patches, I love it! The shorts sound super tight, I like them much more the ones in PB, but I imagine brass is trickier because of how much it excites the room. I cannot believe how beautiful this room sounds btw. Truly amazing work

@@performancesamples looks like the last 2 pacific libraries and marshland lite are being released soon, as expected based off the large amount of content they recieved here. Im expecting thanks giving or christmas
It's absolutely gorgeous, for sure. But I see you are optimising for a very specific case (double woodwinds instruments playing unison), why you went for that choice? Is it because you will have these instruments as solo shipped with Visa II core? And why doubles, why not tuti ensembles (3+)? My concern is, when writing music, it is best to have single instruments for having a realistic mockups, then maybe switch to ensembles in a very specific tuti phrases, even better without a change in room or temper to have a smooth transition.
I recorded Pacific Woodwinds a few years ago when I was a little newer to woodwind sampling and doing ensemble recording. The Vista II recordings were in the last year and are solo - I share your thoughts on solo WW being preferable to ens. WW for samples. Best - JB

Yes, you will have an independent close mic (close and far). I didn't use verb on this example but its more focused on the room mix-wise. Best - JB

Sounds absolutely stellar Jasper. Did you actually record RR legato intervals for the playable trills? Would've loved to hear the close mics on these.

There are RR legatos for the two flutes and standard legato for the clarinets.

It's 2 flutes recorded together, so no divisi.
It's the opposite of divisi actually, just unison
