Cesar spends more time and effort training humans than he does their dogs. I often feel bad for the dogs. An active dog with owners who are very obviously very inactive. Im 63 and a disabled widow. No matter how bad i feel i know my 90 lb pit has to be walked. If i get to the point i am unable to do right by her then i wont hesitate to find someone else to walk her or rehome her. It would break my heart to do so after having her for 9 years. 😢 shes my protector ,friend and family. ❤
And you may be right, and you’re thinking may be right, but every person is different and their levels of insight are different and they need coaching and that’s why we have people like Cesar and the athletic coach and counselors to help people to educate them to get through this to help them see what they don’t see!
i am betting Caesar could come up with some sort of cart that the pit could pull you in ....... i had this problem when i got a jack Russel pup ,,,,, am 68 with ms .......i solved the problem by getting him a little sister ......since they are both small they can chase each other around the house ....... i have a fenced in yard that is fairly big .......we play fetch and tug ..........think outside the box and i bet you and your pit can have lots more happy days together
I rescued a husky that had been tied up for a year. The walks and exercise I give her every day because of all her energy has transformed my health too. Such a gift xo
I give this couple much credit for doing what they are doing to improve their lives and give their dog a better life. Ceaser thank you for your training them. Nice work ❤
There are dog breeds of every energy level, but most folks choose a dog based on looks, or what breed's currently trendy. This is a classic owner/dog mismatch; @ 17:25 Crystal says, "I want to be able to give TicTac more walks like this." But the dog needs more than leisurely walks - he's a powder-keg of energy, ready to blow! He'd be an awesome running companion for someone training for a marathon. Sadly, if TicTac was a kid? He'd be diagnosed w. ADHD and labelled "a problem child."
Beautiful young couple. Cesar is very smart approaching the change of lifestyle on this way. This may be the start of a new life for everyone. 🙏🏽 be nice and positive.
The fact that they didn't know that a Vizsla lab would be an athlete means they did no research whatsoever! The one I take for a walk has to go at least 6 to 10 miles a day and they would prefer that to be running😂
I owned a whippet and researched even more for my second whippet. They would lose their minds if stuck on a boat. He needs 20 minutes of wide open running, 30 mph+ sprints and then a coach potato all day.
Well they literally said they were just looking not very seriously and then he caught their eye and they thought he looked loving jumping up on them so they had absolutely no education or research on the dog they just went off of how cute he was and acted at the time
@@monmixer69 I didn't say it's in the actual video. I think it's funny that people go after the person who makes a comment and said just writing their own comment independently. It's really weird you think I made that up?! That's what was said in the program.
I love love that Cesar teamed up with Jillian here. Two great professionals, a committed beautiful couple, and a beautiful strong dog. Winners everywhere.
So often I have heard you may not get the dog you want, you get the dog you need. This proves true not just for this young couple but for me, too. I've recently adopted a 5 year old and after resolving her most egregious health issues (mental and physical) I have a dog who needs to get out, just like Tic-tac! So hopefully, I too will lose some weight by giving my new dog what she needs. I'm good with the discipline, great with the affection and am building strength to exercise her more every day.
There’s nothing like a dog for making sure you get exercise every day. If you are a good owner you know that there is no day off, no deciding that the weather isn’t good enough, rain, snow or sunshine, feeling great or feeling knackered, you’re out and you’re exercising.
There is no need to feel sorry for the dog if they keep up with what they have learned. As long as you can't take all dogs in on your own, other people have sometimes to grow into the role of being an owner and taking responsibility. Barely anyone is it naturally. And now they know they need to find him another home if they can't give him what he needs. I'm sure he gets more love than in the shelter and seems well fed.
This couple is doing really well under Cesar's guidance and training. It didn't take much for the dog to learn from Cesar's training, he is smart. I really wish this couple a healthier lifestyle so they may be able to give their dog all the best they can offer. Cesar is incredible to watch and learn from!
Leash on a vest or harness won't work. Leash/collar high on neck. Don't go deliberately adopt a cute dog that is jumping up if you can't give a lot of exercise! So important to match our exercise abilities with the dog we choose. Hope this couple can get in shape and give their dog what he needs!
I'm always amazed that these heavy people get these dogs. Thus poor dog! He is so full of energy! And then to keep him on a boat with no yard. Please give the dog a new home for his sake! What happened to COMMON SENSE?

Yikes 😬 This couple is not in any condition/shape to have this kind of dog. High enegy dog to zero energy couple. 😮 Re-home this dog is best. They should get gold fish 🐟 instead of a dog.
I trained dogs at a rescue shelter with average people in mind. I taught the high energy dogs to play fetch and bring the ball back to the person sitting in a chair and drop the ball. Even if they drop the ball too far away, I taught them to go pick it up and bring it. All you have to do is sit there with a chuck it and throw a ball. These people live on a boat, so playing yard games and treadmill is kind of pointless. He needs to learn to play water fetch. Believe me he would be tired after swimming for 30 minutes. Since they dont have a yard and the dog actually seems ok with other dogs, Teaching him to be off leash would be ideal, so they can use local parks or the beach to drain him and fulfill his needs.
Me encantó este video que demuestra realmente que lleva a cabo su misión de mejores humanos y un mejor mundo! Felicidades Cesar y gracias por tu aporte a la sociedad.

Most people don’t realize they can find a dogs temperament and personality type through their breed, so I don’t fault them for not knowing the dog would be high energy. What matters is they are taking steps to help the dog ❤ I love how supportive of all body types Jillian Micheal’s is, because to her it’s just about exercising and being healthy for your heart and life. She had them do low impact resistance training and that shows a lot of her character to design a small work out fit for their body types, she wasn’t trying to embarrass them or push them so hard they got hurt or sick. I love her so much 😂 ❤
It drives me nuts. I just had a harness client. Dog would pull, and then drop to the ground and refuse to move. I switched the dog from the harness to a martingale collar. Done. The least effective, most harmful tools, 1, A choke chain. 2, a 'gentle leader'. Dont be fooled by the name. Dogs have 1000 times more nerve endings in the snout than in the neck. I've seen some really bad rope burn from a 'gentle leader'. Dogs dont play bite or direct other dogs and pups by the snout. Using a GL is just going against nature. A good tool is one that you either dont have to even use because it changes the dogs demeaner, or that you barely have to engage to get the dogs attention and be effective. Obviously if you test a prong and the dog pulls and goes nuts anyway, its not an effective tool for that dog and so you try something else. Dont ever let anybody who has no clue make you feel bad for doing right by your dog. Teach the dog not to pull and the harness isn't necessary. The only time a harness is necessary is if the dog has a collapsed trachea.
The lady said he's on the boat all week because she's working and she walks him on weekends...its no wonder the dog is bored and going crazy, that dog needs a daily walk
Doesn't matter the size of the dog! They ALL need walking/ excercise! My past Great Dane needed less walking than my now miniature poodle! Julian Michaels is not one of my favorite people. I'm here to watch Cesar! Health is not about pain, unless you're a psycho, health is eating correctly, no or low carbs, and moving forward.
We walked our big dogs at least 4 miles at 6 am & 4 miles at 6 pm. In Mexico, it got so ferociously hot , that excercise, had to happen at sun up & at sundown. Man, we were all in good shape. The dogs stopped doing things, they weren't supposed to do at all, like going way on down to the slaughterhouse & bringing back goat heads. They were too tired, to want to act on crazy ideas.

i have 2 easy going dogs and a 7 month old mini american shepard.. he's bonkers but i get up early to walk all 3 and it is worth it to not have the house ripped apart.. my husband walks them before he goes to work... another walk when i get home... another walk when he gets home.. they walk alot. we keep them tired and well fed of course
Hi Cesar-i remember Jillian Michaels from the Biggest Loser back in the day and felt her style was way too militant and harsh (obviously just my opinion). She immediately takes them right into the gym and taps the husband on the belly and demands "18 more!". Cesar, that is so not cool, incredibly disrespectful and humiliating. Whatsmore, this is a couple who lives on a boat, on the water and loves the beach. Meet people where THEY are in terms of introducing exercise. What do THEY enjoy? Maybe it is riding bikes near the ocean or swimming, or hiking, or walking on the beach like the wife mentioned earlier in the show. Assist them in making exercise goals that fit with what THEY LIKE AND ENJOY-not what Jillian demands. I could not watch the end of this show and how she treated this couple. She is something else.
I appreciate the advice on using a slip lead, however in all the years of owning dogs, and after trying various slip leads, they ALL don’t stay at the top of the dogs head! What am I missing? If you have a powerful dog with behavior issues like aggression, how can you keep the lead where it needs to be? I have tried so many and I am constantly readjusting the toggle /stopper
I'm 54 and got rheumatoid arthritis at age 7 in every joint. My two pomeranians keep me moving with daily hour walks and play time. They are keeping me healthy while I keep them happy.

It's strange that this couple had adopted a dog without prior understanding of what it takes to have this dog. Then claim they can't give it up because it is FAMILY! If they can't handle the dog or give the dog the type of life it deserves, they should willingly give up the dog and find it a new home for it's benefit. And family? I didn't pay much attention but it was maybe like half a year with the dog?

This has to be one of my favorites ❤ thank you Caesar
Well done Gillian! ❤
Have to admit this is a unique and cool profession.
Swimming around the boat would be perfect exercise
17:23 good work on her, catching the dogs reaction before it does
0:45 My name is ceasar millan, and I'm the fastest man alive
To the outside world, I'm just an ordinary man living in a house, but secretly, I use my animal training talents to help and find anyone who needs help training their dogs
I am the only one good enough to stop the epidemic of aggressive dogs. I am the only one fast enough to save dogs from being put down.
I am the flash
😂😂😂😂😂
Starts off by trying to train the dog… ends with them doing push ups 😂
Good on em, credit to their commitment.
This is a WONDERFUL story❣️❣️❣️
i have 2 easy going dogs and a 7 month old mini american shepard.. he's bonkers but i get up early to walk all 3 and it is worth it to not have the house ripped apart.. my husband walks them before he goes to work... another walk when i get home... another walk when he gets home.. they walk alot. we keep them tired and well fed of course
I bet Cesar never thought going into this that he would be counseling more humans than the actual dog lol
I think he did!
The dog is a very athletic breed. Should have rescued a Pomeranian
The indomitable human spirit in these tiktak dog owners
I'm 54 and got rheumatoid arthritis at age 7 in every joint. My two pomeranians keep me moving with daily hour walks and play time. They are keeping me healthy while I keep them happy.
Cesar is legit a genius
Crystal you are a fast learner… and have a beautiful attitude and face!!!! get some sneakers.… you will feel so much more strong on your feet... No stones... A thicker sole. :) you go girl! Xxx
Ceaser is amazing.
She’s walking way too slow for the dog
5:42,he needs to release ALL THAT ENERGY😮😮😮😮😮😢😢😢
For sure
Great episode
They should have gotten a little lap dog
